They did an excellent job.

It went very well! A 3 man crew came, one being the owner, Mr Dunn himself. He was very personable and friendly. Explained fully what he was doing, recommendations and supplied us with an invoice/ condition report/ checkoff list which outlined whether certain areas were satisfactory, etc. He even encouraged us to take a look with a flashlight inside--clean as a whistle! We will certainly be using him again! ( and he's a fireman too)

Melvin Dunn is the owner of this company. He is a hard worker. He is reliable, and he is always on time. He is honest. If he finds an issue with the house I trust him that he is not making something up to make more money. I will continue to use him in the future.

Marvin Dunn continues to impress me. As a fireman, he sees first hand what ignoring your chimney and dryer vent's can do. He freely gives fire prevention advice. I've quizzed him on the different types of fire and smoke detectors. I've used his company for years for my home and all the properties I manage. Before finding Marvin, I've used more expensive dryer vent cleaning companies who only cleaned the vent from the exterior of the house. The first time Marvin cleaned the vent, he removed the hose from the back of the dryer and out came heaps of items from the previous owners (pencils, small plastic toys, etc.). All my clients have been thrilled with Marvin.

Excellent! I left a message yesterday and received a return call last night. Melvin and an assistant arrived at noon today as promised. They quickly cleaned the dryer vent. His price beat my other estimate by $45. I also asked last night if he could help me take down our old satellite dish. He did it for me at no charge. Very professional and timely.

Dunn's provided a reasonable estimate, scheduled quickly and showed up exactly on time. The service was professional and very neat. Technicians cleaned the vent from both inside the house and outside the house and examined the vent for leaks and cracks. They were very neat, even removing their shoes in the house. A very professional job.

Melvin returned our call the same day and was able to schedule an appointment for inspection and cleaning within a week of our call even during the busiest season for chimney sweeps. On the day of the appointment he called when he was on his way to our home. Melvin is personable and friendly as well as knowledgeable, and he and his assistant also were very respectful and attentive to keeping my home clean (removing shoes at the door, etc.). He showed me how to operate the damper and recommended the best way to start a draft for air flow when we have a fire. On the basis of this very positive first meeting, I recommend him highly.

It went good. He was on time and did it in the same time frame promised. There are no more leaks and I am pleased with his work. I would recommend him.

Melvin is friendly, very professional and explained all the work and the order of importance (we couldn't afford to have everything fixed at once). He took before and after pictures of the chimney crown and left them with us so we could see the work done. Our realtor recommended him since they use him for chimney maintenance and repairs. I also like that Melvin is a firefighter so he knows what can cause problems and what is safe.
