Description of Work: 17 year old Honda lawn mower would not start. The vendor rebuilt carburetor, changed spark plug, sharpened blade, and cleaned mower to like new condition. Wanted to have mower ready to use on Thanksgiving and they did all of the work in one day. Excellent experience.

Description of Work: They sharpened the blades of my lawnmower. I asked them to also look at the drive wheel as it was not working properly. When I went to pick up the lawnmower they said that it would need a new wheel. I assumed that they would have put one on but when I went to pick it up it still had the old wheel on. I asked what they were going to do and was told that I needed a new wheel- nothing else. I went to Sears and bought a new wheel and I put it on. I was disappointed that they had not done this, however, I realize that I hadn't been specific enough - like "please fix the wheel". However, as a lawn mower repair shop you would have thought that they would have wanted to do the job.

Description of Work: Called couple places from craigslist and found that they wanted to charge me over $200 just to show up at my house even after I told them the problem is with the drive belt. I attempted to try myself but failed...Didn't have the right tools. Decided to use angieslist and good thing I did! Called Caliber and scheduled my Cub Cadet riding mower drive belt replacement. They came and picked up my riding mower..since it didn't move they had to push it out to the driveway. Made the necessary repairs and also sharpened my blades and washed/cleaned the mower. I was very surprised to see my riding mower so clean and functioning properly. Without a doubt, I will use Caliber again for future services. I have also referred my friends to use them as well.

+ -1 moreWe chose to call Caliber based on the Angie's List ratings and comments. We called and we were told that they did work on the Little Wonder blower line. We were also told over the phone that we should expect the work to take about 4 days. We dropped off the blower at Caliber later that day (Thursday). The mechanic that checked us in told us he expected the work to take a week, although he could get to it a bit faster if we really needed it back. We replied that one week was OK. One week later, on Thursday, we received a call that our blower was ready for pick up and the repair cost was $93 and some odd cents. We were away on vacation until the following Monday, which is the day we picked up the blower from Caliber. The mechanic that originally checked us in recognized us and immediately pulled out the blower. He started it up for us to show that it was running fine, no longer running roughly. Apparently, it needed a tune-up and a couple of parts replaced. So, overall, we were very pleased with the entire experience and will use Caliber in the future.

Neighborhood discount was applied (not sure how much - maybe just free pick up). No fuss, not muss. Just good service done on time! I've used this company more than once.

Description of Work: The mechanics at Caliber repaired the broken cable on my self propelled mower. They also cleaned it and sharpened the blades. When I picked up the mower, I didn't recognize it as my own - it looked brand new again! The mechanic also lifted it into my minivan for me.

They cleaned the carburetor, changed the oil, sharpened the blade (all of which I asked for) and also fixed a broken handle (which I did not request). I was very happy with their work and the mower works very well. I've used it for a month now and it runs smoothly.

+ -1 moreTerrific job. A previous provider told me tha the cable and throttle couldn't be adjusted or repaired at a reasonable price. Cliber did it without being asked. There was a minor glitch with the "derad man's switch" not working properly and they came to my house to correct it the same day I called. Oh, and they have free pcik up and delivery in my neighborhood. What nmore could you ask for ?
