We discovered we had a leak in our bottom-freezer fridge that had frozen over the entire bottom of the appliance so much so that water was beginning to stretch out far enough to melt and cover our kitchen floor. Despite being the day after Thanksgiving, the polite gentleman running Appliance Geek called me back that day and was able to come out the next day and repair the fridge. He took very little time, called me before he arrived and arrived in the window frame he had promised. He fixed the issue and took the time to gently take out all the ice and clean it down - since he had the fridge out, he even recommended to use a vacuum to clean behind which would have never occurred to me. Very nice, loved that we didn't have to wait til the next week, which is when I started to hear back from other places I had called.

Asif checked out the washer and determined it was working normally. He examined the icemaker and, based on what I told him about it's operation and what he saw, he determined it had a bad part within the replaceable unit, so the unit had to be replaced. He ordered a new one. He did not actually call me to schedule the installation as soon as he received the part, which I would have preferred. Instead, I called him, he informed me that he had already received it, and we scheduled an appointment at my earliest convenience. However, when he came to install the new icemaker, he decided that he would not charge me for his analysis of my washer. So overall, he was more than fair, was very nice and professional, and his fee for what he did was reasonable. He left about 2 hours ago and the first set of ice cubes just came out! I would definitely call him again and recommend him to others.

After calling and being told by a different company that I would have to fit in to their very narrow time frame, I called Asif at Appliance Geek. He was very accommodating to my schedule and time frame. He was more than prompt (ahead of time and waiting patiently outside my home.) He diagnosed the problems and showed me the damaged parts. He was able to fix the dryer partially and ordered the needed part. He again scheduled a follow up appointment and finished the job promptly. Additionally, he cleaned the work area thoroughly. I also showed him a mechanical problem I was having on my refrigerator door, and he was able to quickly adjust it so that it works properly now. It was a very positive experience. I would recommend and I will hire again.

I purchased the large appliance repair deal through Angies List, but the vendor never responded to my phone messages or the message I sent through Angies List. I even reached out to Angies List for help, and twice they promised that Appliance Geek would get in touch within 1-2 days, but they never did. I finally ended up getting a refund.

AGI was awesome. I had another company come out and charge me for the work, and the problem wasn’t fixed. That company’s guy seemed like he didn’t have the knowledge to fix the problem. AGI not only fixed it, but spent extra time making sure the software updated, offering to return at no cost if it appeared not to sync to the new software. The part was ordered fast and he even got my fridge working the day before a large party. Can’t say enough good about this company.

It went great the second time he came back to fix the issue. He diagnosed the issue, fixed it and even pointed out another issue to me. He was very nice and patient.

I did not get any acknowledgement from the company that they had received my request. I called an got a voicemail message. I left a message and they never called back. All the food in my refrigerator will be lost thanks to their unprofessionalism.

Just wow. So I am one of those people that "tried to do it myself via YouTube". But this time, I really could not figure out why my dishwasher was leaking and not draining properly. I had two other professionals diagnose this as a subpump issue. and had a very hefty price tag. I called ApplicanceGeek and same day the gentleman came and diagnosed the exact issue in several seconds of running the dishwasher. In fact he explained the whole process and very technically showed off his computer analysis tools and did a run through of the other parts on the machine just in case. He diagnosed the intake was not working and in about 45 minutes took it apart and put everything back together. Great job and he especially specializes in more high tech appliances requiring technical skills in addition to repair skills to fix.

The technician determined the problem but I decided against the repair as I might as well purchase a new washing machine since the repair cost was about the same as a new one.

I couldn't imagine it going this smoothly. Not only did he rapidly troubleshoot the problem, but he actually had the required pump in his bench stock (in his truck). He estimated the job would take 1.5 hours and the coupon I purchased only covered one hour. In reality, he finished the replacement in less than an hour and stuck with actual work time (rather than his estimate) and he didn't charge me for any additional time. Total cost was the coupon + the price of the pump, which was reasonably priced. I am very happy with this experience and we now have a magnet with his information on it stuck to our refrigerator. I will not hesitate to call him if/when I have another appliance problem. WELL DONE!

Thoroughly completed the taking apart and washing out frozen area that was causing the clogging of water making it's way to the freezer. I would recommend again and call for service if needed again, a real pro and very well mannered.

Well. Service provider found that only the drum needed to be unstuck, which he did.

Great. Although he could not repair the ice maker due to unavailability of parts, he helped me remove it and make more room in the freezer. Quickly fou d the cause of the leak and r repaired it on the spot.
