Description of Work: Icemaker not working in fridge---was reset (apparently this can be done by disconnecting and reconnecting the module). Water was drawn up into the module and should work going forward---TBD. If not, new module will need to be ordered.

Description of Work: Replaced water pump in a washing machine. Technician had already deduced the problem prior to arriving, so he had the part available. He confirmed his diagnosis by running the washing machine quickly. He explained what he was doing all along his repair. Repair was completed in a little over one hour. He cleaned up after himself and tested that the machine worked prior to departing. I would definitely use Appliance Geek again.

Description of Work: Very prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the problem with my refrigerator in easy to understand terms which I truly appreciated. Knowing exactly what he was doing, he was in and out in 15 - 20 minutes as promised. Great deal on Angie's List on the service call and diagnostic. The repair would have been included too but I needed an extra part and he didn't try to gouge me. I highly recommend this company!!

Description of Work: The provider came to diagnose my broken LG washing machine. He said he needed to lookup the parts as they are not available online (they are). Despite telling him it was urgent, he didn't return my call for 3 days and then told me via email I needed to replace the drive shaft.I called LG and they said they would cover via warranty but he refused to call them directly (they wouldn't ship me the part without an authorized repair person calling them). I then order part on my own and he didn't availability for another week to come so I had to call someone else who identified the issue to be completely different. | |In turns out that I had to replace the electronic control board and it had nothing to do with the drive shaft. A complete waste of my money, the provider clearly doesn't have the knowledge and expertise to work on washing machines. On top of it I had to get a $120 part that I could not return.

I believe you also had loud noise problem from tub bearing. You got the parts and tried to install those at your own. We could not schedule an appointment as you were out of state for weeks. There is possibility that you had multiple failures or caused some damage while trying to fix it by yourself. Anyways I am glad that your washer is fixed.
