Both of my problems were resolved. Asif knows what he's doing and did a great job for me.

The owner of this small business responded promptly to my request for service. He arrived on time and set to work. He explained each step and why it was necessary. He showed me the corroded part, went to his truck and returned to install it. I was impressed with his knowledge, ability to explain the process, and his attention to cleaning the newly exposed parts of the old frig. He cleaned all traces of his work. I would use him again and have recommended him to my friends and neighbors in the event one of their appliances should fail.

He came twice, once to diagnose, then to repair. Dispensing water from refrigerator back to normal. He arrived during his time window, but always at the end of the time window. So maybe a B+ on Punctuality but I wasn't given an option for that rating. Very personable and cleaned up his work area nicely.

They gave an estimate the first day they came out, and it was a lot more than I was expecting to pay. I had purchased the big deal for $79, and I paid an additional $250. They came out and replaced the part, but it still had the same problem that I had before, so I had to call them back and then they came out the next day.

He was detail-oriented, thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He inspected all other parts and made sure everything was in working order. His diagnostic and repair skills are excellent. [I had called several appliance service companies in the area and they had all kinds of labor and parts fees: a service-call fee, plus 60-minute minimum charge, plus 15-minute-increment charge, plus $200 for a new drain line --which they assured me I needed a new drain line! Their estimated service was quoted anywhere between $400 and $500.]

The repairman could have charged us for the repair, but he didn't. He checked our manual and documents and recommended we call GE to get the repair done under warranty. Very prompt, professional and honest guy!!

Things went very well. They fix a few things. They had a little bit concern around the stove top that they weren't able to fix. The problem was I couldn't access; they said the vault got busted out. You would expect someone if not an appliance service; if you need to cut the vault out...cut the vault. The things they fixed; they fix well and I had no problem. They were fast and they were responsive.

Professional, diagnosed and fixed the problem

They were very prompt, conscientious, and identified the problem. We have a Sub-Zero that is quite old and they managed to tell us it wasn't a critical touch and that it was just slowing down.

Our dryer had stopped blowing hot air. I didn't know anything about companies who do this type of repair and went straight to Angies List for reviews. My husband contacted 5 different places providing info on the dryer and requested a quote. Not only was Appliance Geek the first to respond, it was the only company that would give a quote online without an initial visit. Best of all, I was able to set an appointment for the very next day. The gentleman who came was very professional. He not only was able to ID the problem, but explained to me what had gone and how he was going to repair it. Thank you Appliance Geek!!

Appliance Geek Inc. was so good. His wife had a baby the day before, but he came out and did the job. He told us the day before he couldn't come that day because his wife was having a baby. It was amazing that he came up the next day. He was very professional. Someone else could have come in and overcharged us. But he saw I had been trying to fix it myself and he just fixed exactly what needed to be fixed and didn't try to charge us for an astronomical amount. He is very trustworthy. We haven't had any problems with it since. He was such a hard worker. I even gave him a baby present. I have an LG fridge. A lot of companies won't come out and fix that, but he did.

We made an appointment with A.G. and they sent a technician out when we had scheduled him. He examined the problem and said he had to order a part and come back with it. It took a couple weeks and a call to check on him. But the part was in and he came out and fixed it. End of story. Except for a little delay and having to make a reminder call, everything was fine. Repairman was polite and seemed to know what to do. Gave one B because of the reminder call we had to make. I don't think this is a normal problem though.

We were referred to Appliance Geek by our home warranty company to repair our dryer. The repair took a second visit, as a new motor needed to be ordered. The home warranty company wanted to charge us for the second visit and Appliance Geek went to bat for us with them to get a discounted rate, as the second visit was related to the first, but ended up coming out for free to complete the repair under the initial claim. I was really pleased to work with such an honest company that went the extra mile to make sure that their customers were being treated fairly, even by third parties. I will definitely be requesting Appliance Geek in the future if the need arises for additional appliance repairs.
