I called them on Saturday and was set up for an appointment on Monday. The repair person was very helpful and on time. He thoroughly examined my dryer (which stopped working on December 31, 2014). Once the examination was finished he gave me an honest report. He could have charged me a lot to fix the dryer but instead he advised that it was not worth it to repair. He gave me a credit towards another service and also made recommendations on purchasing another dryer. Appliance Geek is now the company I will call for all my appliance repairs. I thoroughly recommend the company and the service provider. I am extremely pleased.

Based off of my initial description of the issue, he was able to determine the problem. This, however, didn’t resolve the issue. He came back out and then determined the refrigerator door wasn’t able to get the desired resolution that I wanted. He was great though.

Our Refrigerator/Freezer stopped working the day prior to going out of town. I contacted the owner, ASIF, and asked if he could stop by the same day, even though I live ~45 mins from his office. Asif quickly rearranged his schedule and made time. When he arrived he was pleasant, efficient and had spare parts in his van. He replaced a relay and departed after spending ~1 hour on-site. I would most highly recommend Appliance Geek. Fast, efficient and a pleasure working with them!

The gas stove/oven had an alarm going off and would no longer work. Appliance Geek, came out first to determine that it was faulty control board that was causing the error. He then made a couple of calls and found the necessary part and had it delivered the next day (The day before Thanksgiving). He came back the next day (while it was snowing) and quickly completed the repair. THANK YOU so much to APPLIANCE GEEK for providing fast and quality expert work performed the day before Thanksgiving. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them and will use them again in the future if their service expertise is needed.

Basement Fridge failed and I was going to toss it. Saw a coupon from Appliance Geek and decided if he could fix it for less than $300 then it would be worth it. He cleaned it all up and checked the motor. He made some adjustments and recommended a part, but said before he fixed it, to try and see if his adjustments worked. I left it empty for a day or so, and sure enough the fix didn't take. I called him, he had a part ordered, came back out, and fixed it. It's been almost 5 months and this circa 1982 fridge is still ticking along. Like he said, I could fix this old reliable, or buy a used one off Craigslist (which is what I was going to do) and inherit someone else's problems. Writing review now because I forgot, and just scheduled him for a dish washer issue. Recommend him.

I was very happy with my experience with Appliance Geek and would use them again. I bought an Angie's List deal for a large appliance service. The rep came to inspect my dryer and found that the drum was cracked. He actually seemed to personally care about the fact that a 3 year old Maytag dryer would break in this fashion. (He shook his head and commented on the terrible craftsmanship of the part) He seemed very knowledgeable - commenting about different brands and how often their drums break. (GE dryers apparently have this issue frequently) I was most impressed that he did not try to sell us an overpriced replacement part. He told me the price his supplier could get the part for, and let me comparison shop. I ended up getting a better price through Sears appliance parts, so I ordered it, let him know when it came, and then scheduled another time for him to complete the repair. He finished putting the new drum in and now my dryer works like new again. The only small downside is that my voice mails were not returned. I had to call again until I managed to get a live person. Despite that, I will happily use Appliance Geek again for my next appliance repair.

Went great. The owner came the same day and had the part in the truck. Quickly completed the repair and was able to process my credit card payment onsite.

I bought a deal with this provider through Angie's List. For $100, I would get two visits, which included diagnosing the issue and labor.Setting up an appointment was easy, and the provider was quick to get back to me. They offer Saturday hours, which is great. After inspecting my dishwasher, he informed me that the problem could be due to just one part being bad or both, and that he would consult the manufacturer to double-check. He priced out the parts at 2 different places, and selected the cheaper one, which would save me $160 if I had to use both parts. He told me he'd place the order and get back to me on Monday (the appointment was Saturday). I didn't him from him by Wednesday, so I called for an update. He told me he'd ordered the parts and would call me once they were on their way to schedule a follow-up. He contacted me on the following Friday and had quite a few dates he'd be able to come. We selected between 10 and 1 on a Wednesday. He arrived around 2:45 (but he did call before 1 to tell me traffic was awful). Once he arrived, the repair took no longer than 15 minutes. He was always polite and responsive.

Had parts in the van and was able to diagnose and complete the repair in a single visit.

I purchased a deal for via Angie's List for an appliance check. There was an additional cost of ~$40 for supplies. My interactions were on the phone, and everything was professional and friendly. The washing machine was fixed in one visit, and there have not been problems since.

Asif repaired our refrigerator and looked at our dishwasher that stopped working while we were awaiting a part for the refrigerator. Asif was very professional and he was very knowledgeable trouble shooting our refrigerator and dishwasher problem. He looked out for us and gave us an honest opinion about what needed to be repaired. In our opinion, Asif displays outstanding customer service!

Went very well. I think the technician was very good at explaining how the stove works so that future accidents would not occur.

Labor ($74) and part ($89). Had a glitch when the manufacturer sent wrong part to be installed so that delayed things. Otherwise happy with the service and the person doing the repair.

PERFECTLY!!!! Have had a number of extended warranty people come to fix an incredibly annoying loud noise from the freezer (GE Adora side by side). They either showed up and said it wasn't fixable or other times they failed to even show up. The noise could be heard everywhere in the house. Asif from Appliance Geek showed up exactly when he said he would and immediately diagnosed the problem and took the time to show me what was causing the noise and fully explained it to me. He ordered the parts, called me to set up an appointment -within a couple of days, showed up on time and fixed it. Been running perfectly ever since. We're still adjusting to life without the incredibly intrusive noise!! He even took a look at our dishwasher filter and a light that was out in the dryer. Really nice guy and I would use him again in a heartbeat. So used to being treated poorly by repair folks. Appliance Geek was a refreshing change.

Very polite and knows his way around refrigerators. My 20 year old side by side freezer/frig no longer had a working through the door ice machine. Asif had to order new parts and returned a week later with the new motor and parts to make it work in my freezer-a creative repair that worked like a charm. I highly recommend Appliance Geek .

The owner was great. He methodically looked at each part of my washing machine to determine the leak. He knew immediately what part of the problem was but looked further and there were so many problems with this old machine he suggested I purchase a new one but not before explaining the areas that were beyond repair and why. It was quite the education and I feel I could do some troubleshooting in the future should I have a machine that leaks. Even better, the initial call was for my dryer but he gave me a few suggestions on the phone to check before coming over. I found that there was nothing wrong with my dryer that I couldn't fix. He saved me money! He was also willing to share his experience with various washing machines and gave me things to look for in a new one that were were solid and reasonably priced. I will definitely hire him again should I have problems with any of my appliance. The education alone was worth it but he is also very professional.
