I had water leaking into my freezer and freezing on the bottom. Asif arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 1 hour.

I bought a big deal for this service and it went great. They came to provide the service and that was good. They did a good job. They were very nice. They were very professional and on time. Everything went well. There were no additional charges. After the repair, I want to get another one. I think that the representative was very knowledgeable. It was a good purchase for the deal. They were very professional.

Mr. Asid Mahmood did an excellent job. He performed the repair promptly and professionally. Although he spent more time than he had expected repairing my appliance, Mr Mahmood stood by his initial estimate instead of charging me more. I would definitely hire Appliance Geek Inc. again in the future.

I called the company late morning 4/6/15 because the washing machine was noisy, making whooshing sound in wash cycle. the rep scheduled the appointment 4/7/15 between 3-6 pm. Asif called before 5pm to let us know he was on the way. Asif stated the transmission gears were grinding and causing the noise. Asif says this is unusual because the washing machine is less than 3 years old. He gave us two options, replace the transmission ($459) or call the manufacturer to check for recall. He says the washer was ok to use, just close the door. The motor would eventually give out. Since we are remodeling, we chose to use the washer. He recommends that we buy a cheap washer until we replace it with HE washer/dryer. Asif was prompt, knowledgeable, professional, courteous, provided excellent recommendations for our situation. We highly recommend him for large appliance repair.

He arrived at my house after giving me a call to let me know when he would arrive. He was punctual and got to work on it right away. Instead of most places that will look it over and then tell you everything after he showed me everything as he worked on it. He even ran several test runs to find any other problems I might not have noticed. It ended up being that the transmission had problems and he was up front about telling me that buying a new washer would probably be much more cost efficient than paying for the repairs. He gave me information about what type of washer would be best and even how I can continue to use my current washer for a few more months to give me time to pay for a new washer. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and wrote out the information on what he found after explaining it in detail. I would absolutely call him again if I ever had trouble with my washer or dryer. His information was top notch and he didn't make up excuses for charges and his fee for the consultation was very reasonable.

He was done quite quickly. Correctly guessed what the problem was, confirmed the same, had the part in his truck and in 20 minutes our refrigerator was working again - amazing. Also pointed out why we had the problem, we were not cleaning the radiator coils behind the plastic grill at bottom but only the plastic grill; so the compressor and the relay overloaded. He said it was quite common. He was transparent on the cost of the part and his $15 surcharge for having it in the truck and we were done, no haggles or arbitary upsell of extra parts cell some repair personnel try to push.

It went exceptionally well. he was prompt, courteous and professional. Stand alone ice makes are not the average repair and we have been through a few repair persons that claim they could fix it. Our iceman was getting cold but would not make ice. He arrived on a Thursday afternoon, stayed for almost two hours during his initial visit, essentially took the ice maker apart, piece by piece, and determined what the problem was. He ordered a new part after he tested to make sure what he would order would actually fix it. He provided an update a few days later. Initially the part was to be delivered on Tuesday however he indicated the part was faulty when it arrived. he then ordered a new part, came over, installed the part in less than 3o minutes. We have a fully functional iceman for the 1st time and we are extremely happy. We HIGHLY recommend Appliance Geek for ANY home appliance problems. Total bill included parts and labor. Thanks again!

It was great. He was wonderful. He was in and out and did a good job.

I liked that they understood my model and they absolutely knew what to do. I did not like that they were not punctual. I think there were additional charges because we bought a part. There were no surprises.

It turned out very good. They were professional, very nice and he really took his time to do stuff right. They even went the extra mile. He had to order a couple of pars for me and it took like an hour to put that on. I told him that any time we need an appliance repair at any time, we'll be calling him. We have a rental property and I'm very glad to have found him.

It was okay. The big deal price was $74. They were going to come back and charge me additional money. But I wasn’t comfortable using them again. They had the parts with them. I think I had to pay additional money for the parts. I started to be suspecting because I hadn’t changed the water filter in quite some time. I ordered one online while he was there. He was supposed to come back and install something else. He called me once for it, and I never called him back because I wasn’t sure that fixing the water filter would have fixed the ice maker in the first place. I wasn’t comfortable. I can't say for sure that he ripped me off. I just wasn’t comfortable moving forward with using him. I think they could be more upfront. In my particular case, they could have me replace the water filter first and if I still had the ice maker issue, then we could have looked at repairing it.

It went well. He was very knowledgeable and provided a fix right away.

The ice maker stop working. The repair person thought to check the water line first. It just so happened that the water faucet to the back yard was turned off from the inside the house. However, the line also connects to the refrigerator water line, which was also shut off. Once the water flow was restore, so was the ice maker. It was the professionalism of the repairman to not tear down the refrigerator to check the cause.

He did a great job. He was a couple hours late but was very apologetic.

I had trouble getting in touch with him. I wanted to know if he would be able to fix my dishwasher or clean and vacuum the filter for the price of the deal. He said he was going to come out on Feb 9th, and I haven't seen or heard from him since we spoke last.

My oven in my rental house was not working as I believe the thermo-state was not acting correctly. I bought the angie's list coupon to have appliance geek come in to fix the problem. the person showed up and did a diagnostic test of the temp and confirm that it was the temp sensor that is going bad. he gave me a quotation to replace the sensor which honestly cost 4 times as much as it would be if I bought it on amazon. So I decided to buy the sensor and have him install it. A week later, the tech came back to install the sensor that I bought. During the installation, he manage to break several oven screws. He had stated that because the oven is old (1992 model), often then not, the oven screw will break in the process of being unscrewed as it will rust over time due to cleaning of oven. Due to this screw being broken, two of my burners would not function anymore. As this was a rental house, I had to buy a new oven. I feel like if this happens a lot with old oven that was made in the 1990s, then he should be experienced enough to know about it. Instead, he broke the first two screw and then informed me the reason. I will never use appliance geek again as they way over charge on cost of the part and at the end you will pay for it either way.

It went very good, he did the repairs that a previous service provider tried to do but could not do. I was very happy with this service.

It was great. They were wonderful. We had a leak. They took it apart and told us how to fix it. There was no additional charge. He completed the job in 45 minutes. There were no unexpected issues.

He was late arriving but called to let me know he would be late. I appreciate the fact that he came in spite of the required arrival time. I would definitely use them again. He had our problem fixed in a matter of minutes. He also came the same day as the repair call was placed which I truly did appreciate since I had 3 baskets of wet laundry. Will put them in my favorites.

It turned out great. There was some kind of scheduling issue. They were supposed to come in the early afternoon and they didn't show up. But, someone from the company called up later and he realized that they didn't show up. So, he came right away. They were very friendly and a really good experience.

He called to let us know when he'd be there. Was punctual. Quickly found and fixed the problem. Cleaned up and left.

Scheduling was fine. He quoted me a price for repairs. With the amount that I already paid through the deal, it was going to cost in total about $500 to repair. I ended up purchasing a new dishwasher instead of having it repaired.

He was great. On time, on a Saturday, and was very honest about the repairs and the realities about owning older appliances. I appreciated his candor and advice. He was thorough and explained the repair in detail. I will hire him again.

After seeing that my stove repair was minor, he agreed to look at my dishwasher for no extra charge.

The guy came over to repair my dishwasher. Got it successfully repaired and I got my money's worth. And happy to use him.
