The job was done as expected. Workmen were here at the stated time, worked hard until the job was completed. They kept me informed along the way making suggestions which we agreed on. They cleaned up well. I would definitely use this company again!

Stated simply, if you have a roof problem, THESE are your people!!! I have worked with many companies over my 27 year ownership of this house, and none have been more professional, pleasant to work with, and just all around good at what they do. I have a great new roof! From the start of the project with Mr. Ginderstaff (writing the contract and selecting the shingles) to the end with Mr. Johnson(final inspection and follow-up) this was a great experience. Pyramid roofing was easy to work with and provided great service. This is a second home for us and scheduling was a little difficult but they were able to work around our schedule. Price was fair and they were always very responsive. We had some issues with debris from the replacement of the skylights but they immediately made it right and that for me is the most important. A company you can trust to fix/correct any issues that come up. A lot of companies can put in a new roof but to stand by your work, your word, and come back after you have been paid, not all of them will do that. Pyramid did and followed up to make sure everything was correct.

Pyramid posted a "roof repair special" but charged me another hundred dollars when they arrived because the house was two stories plus attic. I should have pulled out right then but I was really dumb and told them to go ahead. They inspected the leak in the corner of the second story near the gutter, could find nothing wrong except some "nail pops"--I asked them to fix the nail pops all over the roof, which they did. Have now discovered that roof continued to leak because the gutter was fastened incorrectly to the wall, and the wooden rail above that corner was rotting and draining down into the leaking area. It's been a while since Pyramid looked at the trouble spot but now, seeing pictures taken by the current contractor, it seems clear to me that a more knowledgeable and thorough inspection should have been able to detect the real problems at that time. Find another contractor, especially if offered a "come-on" price that gets modified when the provider arrives.

Everyone we dealt with at Pyramid was professional and courteous. Mike Goff gave us a good inspection and worked to give us a good price. Jeff Mallery and his crew were prompt and always pleasant. Jeff always kept me well informed of their progress and when one area needed extra attention, which he promptly fixed. A very pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to call again.

Pyramid Roofing was very professional and customer services oriented. Vic (the Roofing Specialist) went above and beyond to work with my insurance company to provide them with all of the necessary cost break-downs and documentation that supported their (Pyramid Roofing's) estimate. As for the work itself, I dealt with Lloyd (the Project Manager) who seemed genuinely committed to ensuring that the work was done right and that we were satisfied with the completed product.

The job went very well. Workers seemed very experienced and professional. I would like to note that we had an incoming storm approaching that would prevent them from repairing my skylight in a timely manner. This leaks into my house so I called Pyramid Roofing and spoke to Christy. She was able to get a person to make a special trip out before the storm to provide a "temp" fix. The temp fix worked and I was not charged for that extra trip or the temp fix. This extra effort on their part means a lot to a customer. I would recommend them and will use them again if the need arises.

We just bought our first home and we knew it needed a new roof within 2-3 years. After experiencing a leak only shortly after moving in (when we were getting all that rain and flooding a month ago in Ocean View), I knew it was time to start doing research to find the best company in Hampton Roads for the job. So glad I went through Pyramid! They did a complete tear down and put high quality shingles on all within one day. They were meticulous in their work and identified several wood boards beneath that needed to be replaced, which appeared to be the source of our leak. This showed me they were truly making sure they were doing the job correctly and not just rushing through. The customer service team over the phone was also great. They worked with my tight work schedule for when I could be present and ensured I received a military discount. Lloyd was the supervisor for the work being done and you couldn't ask to have for a better person for the job! He kept us updated, showed me pictures of deficiencies they found with the old roof, and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with everything. He was another reason why I was so glad we chose this company. Getting a new roof can be expensive but the price was very fair and you have the peace of mind knowing you have a top-notch roof that can handle over 130mph winds and much more. Well worth it!

Craig showed up on the appointed day and hour, and performed a thorough roof inspection and interior ceiling inspection of the damage caused by the leaks. Provided an estimate that I felt was reasonable, which included repair of the damaged interior ceiling - one stop shopping to get both the exterior and interior work completed. Dave and a helper showed up a few days later at the agreed on time, and worked the entire day, but didn't quite finish the interior work, which was originally set up fo a separate day anyway. They also agreed to replace one of the new vents that had a noticeable dent - probably cosmetic but they cheerfully went up and replaced it no questions asked. They showed up the next business day - a Monday following the weekend - and finished the drywall and replaced the dented vent. They went over the inside and outside work areas with a large magnet on wheels to pick up any stray nails. As they replaced the drywall they covered he garage floor and 'furniture' with plastic tarps and did a thorough cleanup afterwards. We have had a few days of rain, and no evidence of leaks. You won't go wrong using these folks for your roof repairs, and I'm sure they would do equally great work doing roof replacement.

Good quality and service--I would use again. They identified other problems and fixed those, too.

We had a leak in our sun room and weren't sure if there was a problem with the room. Pyramid came out as requested and after an inspection let us know that the roof didn't need work. Suggested instead that we might need to caulk around the windows. We did and it has been fine ever since. Really appreciate the honesty and extra help that he offered so that we could diagnose the issue and repair it ourselves. We will use in the future if we need any help with our roof!

It was not good at all. They were just extremely overpriced and we ended up going a local handyman who did everything we needed for a fraction of what they could have done. The quote was like $800 to fix four shingles. It was crazy. Not only were they overpriced but I had scheduled for them to come out and they did not come out and they did not call until two days after their missed appointments. They were responsive initially and then due to the weather they did not show up.

They didn't do such a good time. They weren't up there very long. The analysis he gave me wasn't very good, so I had another roofer come in. I had a very bad leak and he claimed everything was okay. He also said my roof was too steeply declined.

Overall: Very happy with the final product. Good quality shingles and the work appears to be very professionally installed. The crew used magnets and swept the yard and street several times per day. No reports of flat tires in the neighborhood as a result of this roofing job. Work took longer than anticipated. Crew would disappear for several hours each day without explanation. The crew would leave sheets of plywood in the yard when they left for the day.....I would have to move all these sheets of plywood onto the driveway as not to kill my grass. Cutting for the ridgeline vent made a mess of my attic storage space. I wish the crew had warned me ahead of time, I would have covered up all the items stored in the attic rather than have to deal with the mess they left behind.

Reasonable price, good work, would recommend them in the future for roof repairs or replacement.

Overall the job finally was completed. My main problem was how long it took them to get out to do the job. Also they wanted half upfront but weren't able to give me an exact date they would be able to be out to my house. I understand about weather situations, but 4 weeks was way too long. I had told them that I wasn't comfortable giving them that money upfront without even an exact date. When they were finally able to say a two day estimate I gave them half upfront. After, on the second estimated day they had said they would be there in the morning. They ended up not being there until 4 (after I had called to let them know their workers hadn't shown up yet) in the afternoon and worked until 9:30 pm. The work was completed and the shingles look great my main complaint is timing and the punctuality of their workers.

There were initial issues with miscommunication, and non responsiveness. They have tried to make it up to me as best as they could, and they wanted to make sure that I was happy.

The people who did the work hooked off the blower fan on the roof correctly and when one of the supervisors came by to hook it up, he realized it was not hooked up correctly. They had to come back and hook it up correctly. When the supervisor came back. The people who did the roof hooked it up and it wasn't done right and it actually blew up the thermostat and the fan. The supervisor said, that's not a problem, we'll rake care of it. We were the ones who screwed up, we will replace the thermostat and come back and hook it up. They did, the supervisor came back and hooked it up. When he came back, he said, not only did they didn't hook it up correctly, they didn't put it in the right place. He said he had to move it. They fixed their error but the people who initially did it didn't do it correctly. I've seen other Angie's List roofing for a lot less but I have already signed a contract with them. They were responsive. They worked with me. I couldn't do it right away when we first talked about it. They told me they'd be here at 8 and 8:30, they showed up at 7:30. I think they were professional. Most of the people in the work crew were Mexican and didn't speak English. There was one gentleman that I did interact with and he spoke English but it was difficult to understand him.

The team was fantastic ! Everything from start to finish was a smooth process. Had the roof completely torn off and a brand new one put back in in one day! We are extremely satisfied! Thank you!!

All went great. Inspection started in the attic, then outside on the roof. Very thorough inspection. Glad to have an experienced roofer check over everything well and conduct needed maintenance.

It went great stopped leaked. Fixed a previous poor installation by home builder.

One day repairs well done, replaced some plywood, new shingles installed, and repaired copper flashing. Looks great, guys were professional and did a great job.

The inspector was late due to traffic, but the office called to let us know. Inconvenient since we purposefully scheduled first thing in the morning so we could still get in to work at a reasonable time, but we were treated courteously so were okay with it. The sweeping/caulking/nail down a couple loose shingles took about an hour and I was very happy with the sweeping job; we have a lot of pine needle buildup which can rot the roof and was one of two primary objectives for hiring this company. No other problems were identified; the roof is 8 years old with 25 year GAF shingles. We asked the inspector to look at a small problem area in particular near our front porch. We got an estimate of $900 good for 30 days to repair an area of the swale to the porch, that in the inspectors estimation, had standing water that back flowed under the shingles in a hard rain. The estimate included replacing 2-4 sheets of plywood, tar paper, buildup of the swale with shingles and re-shingling the area. There was a "no guarantee" clause of matching shingles color in the language which I assume is standard since weathering changes the color no matter if you start with the same architectural GAF shingle we used to reroof 8 years ago. I thought the estimate a bit high, but since I am not having leaking right now, decided not to pursue other estimates right away. I will in the future however. The leak was a tricky problem that took five visits from two different roofers to repair and still I am not satisfied the area is moisture free, although the dripping has stopped, it wasn't unequivocally established where the leak was coming from in the first place . I won't zip up the inside until I am absolutely sure. The one issue I had was that although my house is a ranch, and the roof is not particularly steep, it has a FROG and a second story apartment over the two of the 3 bays of the garage. The second levels were not swept, nor was the first level on the other side of the attached garage. Why? I called a day or two later and asked them to come back and finish the job. I was treated courteously, the lady assured me they would rectify the situation and it was very promptly done before I got home from work. So overall an A, but I think the estimate was a bit high, and I am not sure why parts of the roof would be left upswept and effectively un-inspected on the first go-around. Ultimately, when pointed out by me, the consumer, it was fixed but I should not have had to do that.

They were pretty thorough and clean They had to come back second time as what they did to fix the leak did not work so they came back and fixed it this time. The price was reasonable.
