Pyramid Roofing

We called Pyramid roofing to schedule an appointment and within three days, John was here with an estimate. We sat and reviewed the estimate. We were planning to get three estimates, but after setting with John and reviewing his detailed estimate, we signed the contract that evening. The quality of the products offered was what we were looking for, as were the specifications listed in the estimate. Everything we had researched for our replacement roof was in the Pyramid estimate and we hadn't given John any of our specifications. Their quality of material and work quoted was to the standard we had determined we wanted for our home. That is to say, we wanted the old roof removed to the plywood and resurfaced with 30 pound roofing paper, 30 year hurricane proof shingles and new roof vents. None of this was relayed to John prior to our meeting and all of it was in Pyramids standard estimate. Why look any further. We signed the contract. After the job was completed, the yard was completely cleaned and all nails and roofing by products were removed. Our yard and shrubbery was as clean as it was before they started. One thing that my wife noticed, she was home through all of the work, was as the workers moved past the windows and doors, they never looked inside nor did they bother her at all. The only time the work crew came to the door was to let us know they were done. Another factor that should be mentioned is that Pyramid roofing recycled all of the old roofing that was removed. A very environmentally aware company.

Workers were on time, careful, neat and attentive in every detail. The supervisor, James Tuel, was exceptionally attentive to every detail, recommendations in advice and punctual. An outstanding supervisor overall.

They were great. I got the best that they had. I got a very good quote from them. It was around $6500. I had a $250 coupon. It ended up costing me around $6200. It probably would have cost me a lot less with just getting regulars but when they told me $6500 for the best with lifetime warranty, I agreed to it. Others were quoting me $8000 to $10000. They did the brand new roof within a week. I had other people telling me that it would take three weeks to come out here and that they have to order and things like that but they were out here within a week. I would recommend them to others because they were fair and they were great people. I really am happy. They weren’t pushy. They were very kind to me and got things done. They were not condescending. I have already recommended them to a coworker of mine and they are coming to her house in January. I would use them again in the future; in fact, I will be using them later to do the gutters for me.

Everything went smoothly from the initial inspection till the actual completion. I was informed that the work possibly would not be completed until 4-6 weeks due to backlogs and having to order the skylight. The job was actually completed before 4 weeks, I had no leaking during the waiting period despite more rain and heavy winds. This is a company I'll recommend and seek to use myself in the future for any services they can provide.

Soon after initial contact, a polite, professional salesperson arrived exactly on time. He offered many ideas and suggestions, answered all our questions thoroughly. The team worked diligently and effectively until dark every day. They put tarps under their work area and kept work areas clean several times a day. Cleaned up each evening, never leaving debris or supplies around. Hauled trash away every day. Offered suggestions before the job began (move cars due to some large equipment filling the driveway, remove valuable items from walls so vibration won't cause them to fall). We left most pictures up and nothing came loose. Laid a tarp under the skylight while working in that area (nothing fell, but we appreciate the caution). Thoroughly impressed with Pyramid Roofing....it's refreshing to work with a company that keeps it's word and does good work.....very professional !!

I had used Pyramid several times before, with satisfactory results. When Hurricane Irene knocked off a few shingles from my roof, I called them. Their estimator, James, came by, took a sample of our roofing shingle, and said he would get back to me. Two weeks later we get a call from James saying he would repair the roof only if we found the shingles. So I called to suggest that if a roofing company couldn't come up with shingles, how could I? So Chris, a more experienced workman came by, again took a sample of the shingle, said James was a rookie and tha he (Chris) would get back to me. After two weeks with again no response, I called Pyramid and got Nathan. Nathan said Chris was coming in that afternoon and he would have him call me. I've never heard back from James, Chris, or anyone else at Pyramid.

It went very well. No issues - came when expected and did superb job. Cleaned up and even returned to check the job when finished.

Job completed and I'm happy with the service.

They had a problem with their answering service. After I e-mailed them from Angie's List they contacted me and made an appointment. The estimater was almost on time. He did a good job overal. He underestimated the start time by about two weeks. After about two weeks I called no one called back. A week later I e-mailed them thur Angie's List. I got two calls the next day. Anyway They finally sent a guy over and he fixed my roof. It seems to have been done right. He cleaned up. they mailed me a bill and I paid them.

Pyramid did an excellent job, start to finish. Afterwards they delivered a tarp "in case of emergency" within this build just super!

Lengthy presentation with a high price quote. Salesperson said he needed to get manager and owner approval but never got back to us with better pricing.

They arrived on time, did a great job and finished in less than one day. They cleaned up well. There were no problems.

We were pleased with the quick response to our request for an estimate. Donnie was very professional and had a complete grasp of the dilemmas we were facing. Since my husband was not present for the inspection, Donnie gave me his phone number to answer any questions my husband might have. He indicated that he would email me an estimate the next day. Although it was a day late, it proved to be the offer we would choose. We requested to have the work start after our vacation and be completed before school started. They scheduled our job to suit our schedule. The work was begun Monday with two workers. We were expecting a larger crew, and probably needed it; because the work took longer than anticipated. The guys we had were great; there just weren't enough of them. What could have been a two or three day job, took six days. Even with this slight inconvenience (Hurricane Irene hit at day four and not a leak did we have), we would definitely use them again and woud not hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Positives: Estimate: The company representative who came in to give us the estimate (Chris) was very thorough and professional. He was extremely detailed in his findings and in explaining to me what needs to be done, and how much it costs. He did not rush us into making any decision. He also explained the timing of events (replacement, clean up, visit by supervisor to double check work and correct any errors). Work hours: The crew came in on time and finished on time as well. Thoroughness: The crew did a god job of making sure that the rest of the house was not affected (no broken windows, etc). They were respectful of our property.Quality of work: We had hurricane Irene that came through in less than a month after installation. So far, we havent seen any damages at all - so I take it that they did a good job with the installation. Customer service: They gave us the extra pack of shingles they had left; and as promised, gave us a tarp (for any future roof events). Negatives: Thoroughness: There were still some nails and old shingles on site after the crew left. Price: Pyramid came in a few hundred dollars more expensive than my second pick. However, since we had a reference for these guys from an acquaintance, I told them that I do not mind paying a bit extra, provided they do the job well. This is the reason for the next bullet point. Quality of work: Overall, I am happy with the quality of work. However, there were some details that I would have expected Pyramid to be more careful about. Two days from installation, we found the satellite dish hanging off the roof - it had not been bolted back on properly. Also, as previously mentioned, there were a few nails (not many) that needed to be cleaned up. Closing the work: This is where Pyramid needs to tighten up (in my opinion). We were told that a supervisor will be coming back to inspect the work and close out any missing details. This did not happen until I called the estimator to remind them of this agreement. That being said, the supervisor came back 3-4 days later and fixed the satellite dish and cleaned up the premises. Overall, I'd give them a B+ (unfortunately, this site has no grades between an A and a B). With better adherence to the terms we had originally agreed upon, I would have given them an A.

Pyramid's staff was excellent! The staff came to my home on the weekend to make repairs right after a hurricane. Very timely and very courteous. I have also had Pyramid out to my home in the past to fix problems that other contractors did not fix. Highly recommend Pyramid Roofing.

The whole project went very well, I had an estimate from another company and they beat the price by 1000$. They were reliable and respectful and left my yard like it was before they came. I needed extra plywood replaced that wasn't included and they fixed it for free.

The initial proposal that Pyramid provided me was detailed and complete. They removed the old roof and installed the new roof in one working day. All of the people I had contact with were were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. The cleanup at the end of the job was excellent. Every step of the way they were on time and on schedule. In all it was a hassle free experience. And the new roof looks great.

Great. From start to finish it went well. I would use them again without even shopping.

Overall Pyramids performance was excellant. Upon arrival the technician explainede what he was going to do. He also provided a check off list of the services provided. Additionally, they were very courteous and through.

The company was very professional and honest. After checking out our house, the room the leak was in and anywhere else that they thought the water could have come in from, the gentlemand said our roof was fine. He was honest when talking to me. Very polite to our renters and on time for the appointment. He told me our roof was in great condition. I appreciated his honesty, especially since we are out of state. They could have easily lied and taken advantage of our situation. When calling to get a second opinion from another roofer, that roofer told me that if Pyramid Roofing came that he would not even need to come because he stated that Pyamid Roofing was the most reputable roofing company out there. I would highly recommend this company to any of our friends and family. Would call and use this company again.

I called Pyramid Roofing and told them I had a very minor repair. They responded they would take care of it immediately "regardless of the 'minor' nature of the issue. They scheduled an appointment; they called before coming; and arrived exactly on time. The Roofing Specialist was truly professional in every respect. This company has seasoned, skilled and highly experienced employees. Any customer should have total confidence in everything they do and stand for. The company was extremely responsive, and delivered the estimate the same afternoon of the morning I requested it. Within three days of my approving the estimate, they were on the job. The work was done quickly, and from what I can tell so far, well.

They were very thorough and did a good job. They were expensively priced. I will use their services in future, provided they give a competitive quote.

Joe replaced the crown and replaced damaged bricks. The problem is fixed, was done on time and as estimated. I like that Joe was there himself rather than a crew working on its own. Fair price, on time, good looking repair (bricks and mortar are pretty close match), and very easy to deal with.
