Every person I spoke to from Scotty, Donnie, the guy that came to fix the issue, to Scotty again was extremely polite and professional!! We would highly recommend Pyramid Roofing to anyone that is having any issues! Thanks again guys!!
Description of Work: We have been having leaky windows and thought it was our roof. We called Pyramid Roofing around the 1st of the month of February. Donnie came out on Feb 4. and did looked over the roof and gave me an estimate. He discovered it wasn't our roof at all, it was our windows. Whoever put them in didn't wrap them correctly. I called Donnie back the next day and he came out for me to sign the contract and for the 50% down payment. Donnie said 10-14 days out they would call and let us know the time they would come depending on the weather. They called and suggested the work be done on Sunday, which we were fine with. Yesterday, February 25, a gentleman showed up ater calling to let us know he was coming. (so very sorry, can't remember his name for the life of me!) He was very professional and polite. After about 4 hours or so, he was done. The windows look nice. He told us if we had any issues to call them back! Did it solve the leak? We won't really know if it fixed the leak until we get a rain that is blowing into our house. With high hopes, we hope that this solved the issues.

Couldn't be better. Did not get 2nd quote. More interested in quality of their referenced. Not interested in a "Bargain" roof.

Description of Work: After hurricane Irene had removed several shingles and pulled up a few nails I had them out to do the repair. When inspecting for the estimate he found that the seal around the plumbing vents 4 of then had fallen apart and were leaking. He did a tempory repair at that time and I decided to have the flashing on all the vent pipes replaced with lead flashing (No rubber seal to fall apart) and had a leaking attic fan removed and the hole covered and shingled. I was we'll pleased with the work performed and would recommend them.

When the roofer arrived, he indicated that slate roofs, while not written in fine print, would cost more. He kindly offered to process a refund. He was quite friendly, professional, and I would contact him again for an estimate.

 + -1 moreIt was a great experience having Pyramid doing the repair work. The Office personnel and the workers were very congenial and most helpful in resolving my problem. I would use Pyramid Roofing again and highly recommend them to others to use for their roofing needs.
Description of Work: They came out to my house and discussed my problem (a leak in my roof) they asked me all about the leak then they went up on the roof to survey the situation. They came down and talked about several options they would like to do and they thought their corrective methods would take care of the situation. After the next big rain storm, we found everything was dry and the leak was gone. The repair work only took about three hours and the worker did a great cleanup after he finished the work.

Description of Work: First a diagnostic evaluation and 17 point roof inspection, then the actual repair of a water leak. Replaced one sheet of plywood to cover unused HVAC flashing where leak occurred. Replaced all pipe collars and one small exhaust vent, and one plumbing vent collar.

 + -1 moreSales person inspected roof and made recommendations for repairs in addition to repairing leak. Estimate was provided during inspection visit with each item separately priced. They offered a pricing incentive to have all work done at once, which seems very fair. The work was accomplished over a weekend while we were gone; however, my inspection indicated all contracted work was performed as contracted. I would recommend this company for roof repairs. of course, the jury is still out on the leak repair pending another heavy rain. Leaks are tough problems to solve but I am confident the company will return if I have any problem as their sales person promised.
Description of Work: Repaired roof leak. Replaced boots around roof vent pipes. Replaced section of warped roof sheathing and re-shingled area. Replaced shingles with nail pop-throughs

 + -1 morePyramid Roofing repaired damage to our roof caused by hurricane Irene. They were able to diagnose a problem that had existed long before this damage had occured. They reshingled the affected area properly as it was not shingled properly to begin with. After this repair work was completed we no longer had roof leak issues. Then in March 2012, some minor repairs were needed to the roof to pass inspection for the sale of our home. Pyramid Roofing came out and completed the repairs at no charge. Their service was first rate -- professional and friendly. They are experts at handling roofing issues. Highly recommend their service.

 + -1 moreBased on great reviews on Angie's List I called Pyramid and asked them to provide an estimate on re-roofing our house and pool house. They scheduled an appointment when it was convenient for me and sent a confirmation e:mail the next day. Mike arrived on time and did a thorough evaluation of the project. He spent time with us going over the estimate, differentiating product choices, and was patient explaining the intricacies of the job. I was very impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. However, the estimate was 15 - 25% higher than other estimates of using mostly the same material with the same guarantee so we did not hire Pyramid to do the job. A couple of higher quality materials that Pyramid uses did not seem to us to be worth the price differential, although that is a decision each homeowner would make individually. I would recommend having Pyramid estimate a roofing job and think that, if used, a customer would be pleased with their work.
Description of Work: Pyramid Roofing provided an estimate to re-roof our house, but we did not select them to perform the job based on price.

 + -1 moreGreat experience. They came out promptly to look at roof, go over checklist, submit bid. When I accepted, the crew arrived on time about 7:30 am each of 4 mornings, worked until 6:15 or so. Took very few breaks. Covered deck, porch, walkway, garden with tarps. Cleaned up entire site when finished. Foreman JamesTuel came by everyday to check; the salesman Chris Hanchey also came by 2x to check on work. There was a crew of 7, headed by a man whose name began with V. Excellent.
Description of Work: Removed thousands of 20-year-old cedar shake shingles, replaced entire roof with asphalt shingles.
