Craig responded the same day that I requested an evaluation on a water leak coming from my old skylight. He checked the entire roof and skylight and wrote up a quote for repairs. Justin was the installer who arrived on the scheduled installation date. He arrived promptly and completed all work to our satisfaction. He also assisted us in disposing of some old roofing material I had on hand. Very professional and a great attitude. I would recommend Pyramid Roofing and it was a pleasure working with their crew.

This roofing job has turned out to be a nightmare. First, after the roofing job was complete the skylight leaked and after 4 or 5 attempts to fix the leak it never was fixed. The "foreman" even went up on the roof and I was told the leak was from my connected neighbor's townhouse. After years of trying to fix the leak I had Solar LIghting come in and put a new skylight in ( cost $2.000) and voila--no leak! So much for my neighbor being the culprit. Also, flashing was not properly put around a vent in my shed so when it rained it dripped in. The drips went into my furnace and rusted the heat exchanger and I had to get a new furnace (cost $5.000). Now as of this week I had a man in the attic to remove squirrels that had gotten in and as he removed nesting places from over the front porch he found a big piece of roof that had no flashing and the water has been pouring into the area over the porch and the whole top of my porch and the soffit to the street is all rotted wood. Cha ching!! I can't believe the "foreman" who was on my roof several times to fix the skylight did not see these flashing problems since they were on his route and nearby. Also, Solar Lighting and Virginia Wildlife removal took photos of the poor job that was done. Neither one could believe how poorly the work was done. And it would have cost Pyramid next to nothing to put these pieces of flashing in. In summation I say to you--DO NOT USE PYRAMID ROOFING in Williamsburg, VA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The address block will not let me put in the correct address. It was 5300 Gardner Court. Also, the location of the Pyramid Roofing company was in Williamsburg, Va. not Virginia Beach. I also gave up contacting them after the leaking skylight out of pure disgust and time constraints.

Allover, it was outstanding service.

The service turned out good. I am still deciding on an estimate they gave for a chimney cap replacement and the replacement of roof shingles on one section. He did a pretty good job and it rained the next day and we had no leaks. I would recommend them.

As soon as the weather cooperates I will schedule another appointment to get that done.

Craig Grindstaff, Roofing Specialist came to inspect our roof. We knew we had some issues because of a couple of leaks during a recent rain storm. Craig inspected the house roof and found that we did have repairable damage but suggested we replace our entire roof due to the extent of the damage and the age of the roof. He went over the inspection with me and gave me a completed report and an estimate of charges to repair our roof and also gave me a proposal to replace it. The customer service was great. They were very professional and responded immediately. We decided to go with another company that had better prices.

Overall, a very professional transaction. The crew worked very quickly and as a team. No one was ever just standing around. The whole group worked a team. Everything had to be hand carried into and out of the backyard. Extremely neat. The octagon shaped curved roof required a lot of cuts. Looks beautiful. I would highly recommend. I will use them to roof my house when the time comes.

This company did an absolutely wonderful job. Craig was our salesperson. The period from our first meeting where he provided the quote until we signed the contract took four months. The delay was on my end due to deciding to get quotes on siding and chimney repointing prior to moving forward with the roof. I must say he patiently stuck with me, calling me regularly, but never pressuring me to move forward. When I was ready to sit down with him again, I had come up with a list of questions. We talked for over an hour, exploring the options for venting, shingle choices, warranty options, flashing versus the apron, replacement cost for decking if needed and my areas of concern - problem areas on the roof. He gave me pricing on all the options we discussed. He took a picture of my home and showed me what it would look like with different roofing color options. I was considering 4 color options on two different products. He provided product sample boards on almost all of it and left them with me until I could make up my mind. That was extremely helpful. Once you have the samples, you can spot them on other people's houses. It goes a long way to helping make a decision for your own roof. When we signed the contract a few weeks later, I felt completely comfortable that I had made the right decisions and wouldn't later be having regrets wishing I had thought of doing this or that. Once the contract was signed, the roof was replaced within 10 days. They sent a crew of four, and I don't think I can say enough good things about them. They worked together like the skilled team that they were. Three were on the roof and one was on the ground, and they worked together flawlessly. The lower level roof was the larger concern. One area of the roof had been leaking into our utility closet periodically for quite some time. I had had two other roofers out to fix it, but both were unsuccessful. It turns out neither correctly diagnosed the issue. When the old roof and tar paper was removed, we found a couple of holes in the wood and some rotted wood in the area of the leak. It was clear the last roof put on 17 years ago was laid right over the problem areas. My crew repaired the problem areas and potential problem areas. They were meticulous with the quality of the work and the clean-up. The roof was completed in sections - lower front, side wing, back lower (the location of the leak), and then second story. In each section they pulled off the old and replaced every component so when they moved on to the next area, the section they just left was completely done, roof, flashing, vents, apron. The job took two days. When they left the first day, the roof was complete on the lower lever and the upper level old roof was still in place, leaving the house completely protected. The whole work area including the ground was COMPLETELY clean when they left the first day. The ground person not only kept the crew on the roof supplied with whatever they needed, he cleaned up all day. It was wonderful. After the job was done the owner called. He wanted to make sure that things had gone well and that his crew had been respectful to the to us and the property. They had been, both, and completely, not only to me, but to each other as well. On the second day I heard one of them sneeze, and the other three said bless you. They were really nice guys who did a really great job. I am very satisfied with the new roof and the experience - beginning to end.

Absolutely perfect. Team of 8, 1 factory specialist, 1 forman, and 6 workers. All outstanding; showed up at 7:30 day 1 and packed up by 1500 day 2. Nice work and nice clean up. No issues what so ever.

I have paid 3 other roofing contractors to fix the problem. After 15 to 20 minutes the problem was found. The problem was simple. The metal guard on top of the roof needed to be tighten. The water was running down the wood and that was where it ended, our bedroom closet. If you want something done right, you won't go wrong with this company.

They showed up on time and completed the job. They found damaged ply board once the old skylight was removed. they replace the damaged ply board and did not charge extra. They are very responsive and professional.

I think they did a good job, he came in, and he did everything that the big deal specified, that they would do for that price. He gave me a full written inspection, he made some minor repairs which were easy to do, while he was up there, and then he gave us a very detailed review of the roof as he saw it, and made recommendations. If we wanted to do the repairs, or we wanted a whole new roof. It wasn't a hard sell. He was prompt, polite, professional, did exactly what he said he would do, showed me what he had done, and made great recommendations. I think the price was fine.

They came out within a few days to do the maintenance and told us about what we expected based on our roof leak. They didn't try to convince us that we needed a new roof of anything of that nature. The whole thing was much more painless than I was afraid it was going to be, given that we knew that we had a roof leak. My one and only complaint is that it took them 3 weeks to come back to do the actual repair work, but we had been warned that they were backed up that far in advance, so it wasn't a shock especially given the weather lately.

It was very good. After the big deal we called them back to do a large section of our roof and we were happy with that. They were prompt and professional. They were very helpful and very well informed.

They tried to get me to redo my roof, which was not what I wanted. In addition, the price was too high. I got them to repair my roof. They did a good job. The inspector and the roofer were very good--very professional. The office staff was confused and unorganized. I would use them if they price was more competitive.

Pyramid arrived sooner for repairs than expected which was great. They worked during snow and cold weather. Crew was on time and finished services in a timely manner.

The workers were punctual, professional, and their high work ethic was evident. There were record breaking temperatures on the days the roof was replaced and they continued to work diligently thru the heat. I would contact this company again in the future.

Representative showed up exactly on time. He explained what services he was going to provide. His report was informative. He showed pictures of the various roof issues, leaking, holes, animal damage etc. and offered a proposal for repair that we are considering. The whole process took about two hours. I must note that I ordered the roofing special on Dec 30. I had had a new furnace installed and the flue gasket through the roof had been disturbed and I could see light coming in. When I mentioned this to Pyramid, their response was that, though they could not do the full inspection that day,they had a team in the area that could make a temporary repair (rain was in the schedule). A few hours later two men showed up and installed a temporary repair. Much appreciated customer service.

A branch put a hole in my roof over the weekend. I contacted multiple vendors. I ended up using another vendor but only because they called me first. Pyramid called me on the weekend (earlier than expected) and sent me emails. They were extremely professional and I was very happy with Pyramid.

Absolutely awesome, very professional, and highly recommended!! I knew when I called them that I would be needing a new roof, due to age, and there is no doubt I want Pyramid Roofing to put on the new roof.

Arrived on time and explained everthing being checked. After the complete check, I was advised that some of the asphalt shingles were torn, a vent pipe collar was cracked allowing leaking, and some of the flashing was not completely sealed. I wasn't really surprised as the majority of the roof was at least 25 years old. I received a complete estimate to repair the problems as well as an estimate to replace the roof. After getting estimates from other companies, I decided to use Pyramid to completely replace my roof and it was a wonderful experience, not at all what I had been dreading. They arrived by 0800 and were finished by 1900 and left the surrounding areas looking like nothing had been done. In addition, there was a walk-through the following morning to ensure there were no nails or debris left anywhere areound the house. It was truely a complete, professional job.

We had quite a bit of rotten wood on the roof from prior rain storms, and the men fixed it all and then applied the roof tiles.
