Description of Work: Installed closet light. Work was excellent, but a little overpriced.

Description of Work: The main project was installation of a whole house generator. Additionally a ceiling light fixture was changed. The price was good compared to other estimates. The owner had given me an estimate over a year ago and |and stood by it. Service was excellent and all workers were very professional. I found them to be trustworthy enough to allow access to the house so they could work when I was away from home for brief periods. I have not had to use the generator yet but it tested fine and I expect it will function when the need arises. Ceiling light fixture is great. I will definitely use them for any future work and highly recommend Dynamo electric.

Description of Work: I have used Dynamo Electric previously. They responded quickly to my call setting up an appointment for that day. Jim and Chris (an apprentice) arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, fetched a part and completed the fix in about 1 1/2 hours. Their pricing was fair. There are contractors here that I do not shop around for prices. Dynamo is one of them

Description of Work: Dynamo Electric installed a 20 KW whole-house Generac natural gas generator with a 200 amp transfer switch. They were very professional, carefully listened to all my concerns, and completed their work in a timely manner. I am completely satisfied with the result.

Description of Work: I had several electrical matters that I needed a repair person for, so I checked Angie's list for someone. The person closest to me had a backlog of work and was honest enough to tell me that he did not know when he would be able to come out. I then called Dynamo, although I was not sure if they would service my area, as I could be as much as a half hour drive from their office. Linda was very helpful and was able to set up an appointment for me for two days out. The serviceman arrived promptly and for 2 1/2 hours worked on the problems I had. One was with a fluorescent fixture that was in a building/shed at the back of my property. I had suspected that the problem was not with the tube itself, which I could have replaced myself, but was instead probably an electrical problem with the wiring or switches. I was correct, and Erik found the problems and corrected them. I also had two overhead light fixtures in my house that were not working, which he was able to diagnose and repair. The final job Erik did was to install a TV cable outlet in the one upstairs bedroom that did not have one. This involved going into the attic space and splicing more wire and then pfishing it down through the wall to where I wanted the cable outlet. Erik worked efficiently from one job to the next without taking any breaks.

Description of Work: My home Generac 15KW generator failed to start after I had serviced it by changing the oil, oil filter and air filter. Upon calling Dynamo and speaking with Linda to set up a service call, she asked me to describe the problem. After evaluating what I told her, she stated that the battery may need to be replaced and where I might obtain one. After repalcing the battery-problem solved. So instead of simply scheduling a service call, Linda rectified the problem over the phone at no cost to me except for the price of the new battery. Very commendable!
