Took 2 appointments as the Caseta/pico switches had to be ordered. some miscommunication on the 2nd trip and scope of work to be completed but that was resolved on-the-spot. Given the scope of work - a fair price. The Lutron switches are a DIY but they were quick to install them without having to run wire through the crawlspace so labor costs were minimized....added bonus - the Caseta/Picos integrate really well into home automation with Samsung SmartThings and Amazon Echo (Alexa) but you need to buy the Lutron Hub....worth it and the Lutron mobile phone app - Excellent!

I have a contract with them, they come twice a year.

The tech was professional and quick in solving the problem. The exterior lamppost wiring was causing the problem. He also recommended we add new material for lamppost added new outlet and sensor eliminating the need to have an interior switch. We were pleased either response and end result. Great job would recommend for electric needs.

Outstanding! New exactly what I was explaining over the phone. Scheduled service in just a few days. Showed up on time and went to work. Accomplished everything perfectly and I'd hire again.

I called Dynamo Electric and the good--and very personable--people there (Darlene, Linda and Dynamo's owner, Paul)--sent Mr. James Duckworth to my home to help me. Mr. Duckworth was so gracious and knowledgeable. He hadn't even ascended the stairs to my third floor, entirely, when he turned his head and said, "There's your problem. It's your Carbon Monoxide Detector. It's out of batteries." New batteries were installed in both my detectors, and if I was embarrassed by my stupidity, I was overjoyed with relief that all was now well--and that God had sent good people to me in my time of need. I can't recommend Dynamo more heartily if I tried. For your electrical needs, do not hesitate to call them. I know I won't. Excellent service.I called this morning and they arrived within two hours.

First, in today's age, responding digitally and in a timely manner is a must for any service I go with. Dynamo responded both through Angie's List and over the phone within a couple hours of submitting an inquiry. Next, onto the work. The work was scheduled within 72 hours, which was fine since nothing was dire. The service rep was very cordial, very professional and went straight to work. An original (outdated plastic) fan box was removed and replaced with a very nice and sturdy ceiling fan box unit able to hold up to the heaviest ceiling fan units. Above and beyond, he even installed the mounting plate for ceiling fan and helped me hang the unit (I had assembled it the night prior). This allowed us to double check all the switches and new wiring as well. Very pleased and will go with Dynamo again for electrical help.

Adam was our technician. Very professional from start to finish. Punctual too! He did his job without making a mess of any kind. Linda, the office clerk, was also very professional and friendly. This is our second occasion to use Dynamo's services and we will use them again when needed. I have already referred them to our neighbors here.

I had contacted them on New Years asking for assistance. They did respond with things I could do myself (which I appreciated) - unfortunately it did not work. Their serviceman called and came by first thing Monday morning to assess the situation . He replaced the GFI receptacle in a timely manner. Matthew was a very pleasant and professional young man. Jim Duckworth, the technician that came to the home, was superb. A little late in arriving due to an earlier job that took longer than expected, but that was OK. Our smoke alarm had been chirping for three days despite us changing the batteries in all the alarms. Jim arrived, put shoe covers on his feet (Thank You!), and pulled down the offending chirper. Replaced with a new smoke detector and tested all alarms. He was prepared to change all six alarms if necessary, but only one needed replacement. He gladly accepted the Angie's List coupon I presented, taking 10% off the labor charge. While he was here he gave us estimates on a couple other jobs we are considering. When we need an electrician, we'll call Jim at Dynamo.

The office staff set up the available date and time. The worker arrived within the time that was set up. He completed the work and did a great job.

Based on the reviews I contacted the company expecting the same great experience. I initially sent an email and recieved a quick response from Joy, which was great, with times that they would be available to do an estimate. The times were all mid day and I responded via email that I work and would be unable to be home during those times and asked if they could come at 4:30 one afternoon when I was home from work. I didn't hear a response back. I followed up with a phone call today and inquired once again if they could do estimate after 4:30, response was "no we don't do estimates after 4." I totally understand that but for a working professional it was a dissapointment that they gave no other options, for example a weekend time or ask someone to make an exception and come later. We live in an ancient house and have a lot of electrical work that needs to be down, hopeful the next company is more customer centered.

They were good. On time, polite, helpful, worked the whole time and problem solved. Very good company.

The price they charged was reasonable and the job they did was excellent. I was having some issues with my front porch light. I wanted it replaced (or at least a part of it) if necessary but they discovered that it contained dead bugs which were causing the problem. They were professional and I was really pleased with them. As a matter of fact, I'll use them again to find if there are other electrical issues.

Went very well. TheTV was mounted level and excatly where we had discussed. I'm very picky about this tye of work. and Paul hit a home run. I wanted a TV that was wall mounted and showed no sign of cables / power cables what so ever. I couldn't be more pleased.

Paul Brinkley, who is the owner of Dynamo Electric, arrived at the scheduled time with his assistant, Adam. They worked quickly and neatly and made every effort to accommodate our wishes regarding receptacle and switch placements and fixture height. Their work resulted in far less wallboard damage than anticipated, and we were pleased with the final installations.They took the initiative to replace the holes with the new wallboard plugs. Both gentlemen were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and we plan to call them first with any future electrical needs.

As stated in box above,I trust the men who work for Dynamo. I am a senior citizen and it is very important to me that I feel comfortable with the service provider in my house for hours at a time.Promptness and responsible are very important,dependability greatly appreciated. My husband and wish to stay in our home as long as possible and feel that the men at Dynamo will be our go-to guys for any electrical work.

Positive overall. Responsive to need ( adding me in to open slot just cancelled). Representative courteous and thorough. No issues. Representative slightly later than scheduled window. I called for status from company. Not a huge deal although the best result would have been an unprompted call from the company telling me of a delay since I had rearranged work commitments to be available. WOuld use company again.

I contacted Lowes and two companies listed on the Generac website and arranged a home visit with each. Each visit went well. Dynamo Electric and Lowes provided an on-the-spot estimate. The third company was very slow to provide an estimate so was scratched from my list. Lowes and Dynamo were competitive in price, but Dynamo had many very positive comments on Angie's List, so I choose them. Paul Brinkley, owner of Dynamo Electric, came to my home to do the initial estimate. After discussing the size of generator I would need to power my whole house and two possible locations for the generator, he gave me estimates for each location. I chose the location closer to my main electrical panel, next to the wall of an attached garage. The installation began about 2 weeks after I signed a contract and gave him a 60 % deposit. Paul and several workers came to my home about 8 a.m., as promised, and began the installation. The gas company came during the day to install a higher capacity meter, which cost about $300. An inspector came later in the day and approved the work routing gas to the generator. Because the generator was at the low side of my sloping yard, Paul agreed to use an elevated pad to prevent any possible erosion. The transfer switch was mounted in my garage, about 2 feet from the main electrical panel, which is inside my house. Since the generator was located next to the opposite wall of the garage, the electrical cable between had to be run from the generator, through the wall, up to the garage ceiling, across the ceiling, then down the opposite wall to the transfer switch. Since the garage has exposed studs, it would have been easiest to staple the cable to the studs, across the exposed joists of the ceiling and down the opposite wall. Instead Paul went the extra mile and ran the cable in 2 inch conduit up to the ceiling, then into the attic space over the garage ceiling, stapled the cable to the roof rafters, then brought it down again in 2 inch conduit to the transfer switch. This resulted in a much better looking job, and an extra measure of safety. The workers left about 5 p.m. on the first day, after carefully cleaning up all debris. They came back the next day to finish electrical work in the transfer switch and main panel. The electrical inspector came about 3 p.m. and approved their work. Paul was on site periodically during the installation process. At the end he tested the generator and talked about its operation. I signed a one year service contract for $220, payable on the date of the annual service. Paul and his workers were knowledgeable, polite, efficient and as helpful as possible. I would have no hesitation in using them on a future project.

Dynamo was punctual and professional and worked with us to determine what our particular needs are in regards to selecting a generator. We are very satisfied in the work they performed.

The estimation process was excellent. I started with an online quote request off of Angie's List. I then got a phone response. The response was delayed a couple of days due to their vacation (lesson - remember to be patient). I then called and they scheduled a visit the next day. Paul came and gave a very solid estimate for installation of a floor outlet and fixing a mailbox light. I then informed him that my finances had tighened up and that I would not be able to do the job right away and he did not forsee a problem. I could maintain the quote until I was ready. Additionally he spoke professionally to the other estimate (done by phone) that I had received. I will definitely use Dynamo Electric when the time comes!

First of all the estimate was within a day or two of our calling and was very professional. The work was performed at the time and date we had arranged. It was done quietly and efficiently with as little interruption to our household as possible. Instructions on how to use the panel if needed was concise and easy to follow. The man who came was totally prepared with all of the tools and parts necessary.
