Fantastic, so professional, great experience.

They did a nice job moving our pieces, however became distressed when it became evident that they would be late for their next job. One mover was responsible for speaking directly with the next customer, instead of the scheduling office handling the conflict,.while were wre trying to move the furniture into the new address. This companiny charges by item, and not by time, as do most movers. At the time of the estimate, we were assured that adding items would raise the cost, however not by how much (our fault). The final cost would not have been as horrible if we did not have to deal with the scheduling stress that aresulted from the late arrival in the morning in respect to the other job scheduled for this team in the afternoon.

From my initial contact with Adam (the sales person - there are two Adams in this story) this was a great experience. Adam worked up a detailed quote. The due diligence was very complete and as a result the quote was firm and there were no surprises. It wook a while from the time I first contacted Adam until I entered into the contract. Adam continued to stay in touch. When we finally worked out the details I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my exact schedule was able to me met. During the week of the move I was contacted by Adam (the driver). He confirmed the plan and the times that would work best for me. Both Adams coordinated with the storage facility in Atlanta to arrange pickup. Adam (driver) called me and let me know he was in Atlanta and would be headed to the Atlanta storage facility in the morning. He also called me once things were loaded to let me know he was loaded and headed to Richmond. On Friday (move in day) Adam (driver) and his team met me,as we had arranged, at the storage unit in Richmond. We loaded there and drive to my new home. Adam did a complete walk through with his team to make sure we knew where everything would need to be placed. Care was taken to lay down carpet runners. This was not an easy move in since I am on three floors and the biggest piece, a six-foot dresser, went on the top floor. No complaints from the team. When the team was done Adam review the paperwork, made sure I was happy with everything, and processed my final payment. There were no overages. I highly recommend Mover Dudes. Don't let the name fool you. These are professionals that are careful with your belongings and easy on your wallet.

The movers themselves were fantastic and the work was done extremely well. They paid attention to ensure no furniture was damaged. Despite a power outage and terrible weather conditions they got the entire POD loaded in under 3 hours. However, they were 4 hours late to the job. The scheduled move time was 3 pm and they did not arrive and start the move until after 7 pm! They haggled the price despite being over 4 hours late. In addition they had provided a "guaranteed" price but told us we had different items then what was included in the inventory estimate. I felt that they scammed us and we still paid full price. I would advise not to be sold on their "guaranteed" rate as it WILL change. They will always find a way to add on our adjust what you provided to them in the initial quote. Also, if you are not in Winchester, VA I would not recommend them as they do not have a local Richmond/Central Virginia office at this time. If I could have the movers with the moving company I would. If you do go with this company ask for Robert's crew - they were great!

The working crew manager was very professional. The crew was so careful not to cause any damage to walls or flooring. They went way above and beyond to move a very large, heavy piece up stairs and performed an almost impossible task of getting that piece in without any damage to furniture or the new home. I would highly recommend this crew: John Snyder, Damien and Adam.

They did the job, but I thought they were rather expensive. They did what they said they were going to do.

I am not fond of the inventory method of determining the cost of a move. The movers charged me an additional $300 and change on delivery for extra items not on their list. Mover Dudes did not perform the estimate in person. I gave them an inventory over the phone. They also set the contingency date for the day before my requested move date, and advised me a couple of days before the move that they had opted for the contingency date, giving me one less day to pack. That said, they were competent, professional, and careful with my things. And fast. I was amazed at how quick they loaded my household, plus they delivered it to the new house hundreds of miles away in less than 48 hours. I would use them again, but I would prepare a detailed inventory prior to calling them, or request them to give the estimate in person.

First we dealt with Jordan. He was very professional and nice. The day of the move Jason came and brought 6 helpers and they were all very polite. Each and every one of them came in and introduced themselves and shook my hand. They took great care of our furniture and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it placed. When they were all done, they again shook my hand as they left our new home.

They were wonderful! There were 7 people who loaded our things and 2 people unloaded us. They carried our boxes down that we packed ourselves. They wrapped all of our furniture. They were also very pleasant and worked well together. They seem have a very well run company. We would definitely use them and recommend them to our friends and family.

Jason and the gang were awesome. I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend their services. Great group of individuals.

Even though they had two big jobs ahead of me they were pleasant; quick and punctual. I have never seen anyone carry stuff that was so heavy that fast. They did the whole move from the apt to the house in 45 minutes; and that is fast. I had a washer and dryer and big heavy wood entertainment center and a chest freezer; wonderful company.

Very professional. Showed up on time. Handled the pieces carefully.

Everything went very well. The crew were punctual, professional, and efficient. They readjusted the price based on what she actually had to move versus what we had originally asked to be quoted. There was no 'price gouging' once they had everything on the truck. My girlfriend was completely comfortable having the four man crew in her apartment without me there (I was waiting for them in Sterling).
