Excellent. Went above and beyond to get everything in the storage unit and it was a tight squeeze.

They were kind enough to call when they anticipated running thirty minutes late due to traffic. Upon arrival they were very professional and courteous. Their team lead walked the house with me to validate the inventory list since some items were changed.They got down to business, they packed and handled all our items with care and delivered them to our new home without incidence. Happy to report no broken items or scratches. Since our inventory list had changed, our final price was cheaper then our initial quote. I highly recommend Mover Dudes. We have used serveral movers in the past and our last experience was very disappointing. We paid an outrageous sum of money to only have our furniure damaged badly to include a ripped leather sofa and chair and very expensive dining room table damaged. Mover Dudes has restored our faith in honest and hardworking folks. Thanks again!

Crew arrived at home at designated time. Packed the truck then arrived at new home. Unpacked crew was friendly and polite.

The guys were very courteous and careful about making sure our furniture was properly wrapped before loading onto the truck. But there were some confusion in the beginning whether we were going to be charged by hourly or by guaranteed rate. I didn't want to do inventory because the estimate provided over the phone came out to be a better price when charged hourly using Angie's List's discounts. Unfortunately, while the guys were careful about prepping and moving our furniture, it was also taking up more time than expected. While the Lead was experience in moving, the other two guys weren't as experienced, we could see a bit of coaching during the move. We were quoted for 4 to 6 hours, and realistic estimate of 5.5 hours, but we ended up with 6.5 hours. At least the lead (Ryan) was kind enough to stop the clock a bit early while the otters two guys were finishing up to work on calculating the final cost. I chose Mover Dudes because I got similar time estimates from other companies but Mover Dudes offered a better price per hour. However, i did not expect it to go over the estimate and end up paying about the same as the other companies that perhaps we may have a crew that may work more swiftly.

They were very professional, polite, took great care in moving my belongings, asked questions when they needed to, and worked non-stop on a hot, Hot, HOT and humid day - up and down the stairs. Nothing was damaged. They showed up early and called as they said they would. Very reasonable prices. They made everything a little easier during a stressful time such as coordinating a move. Mo was very knowledgeable on the phone to get an accurate quote and explained the step by step process. I would definitely use them again, but I hope I am not moving anytime soon! Excellent job!

Crew was on time and called ahead as promised. Work was done quickly and carefully including dis assembly and re assembly of furniture. Excellent job!

Now the first part is going to sound negative, but this was more of a positive experience than negative. Mostly because they were the cheapest quoted to us by a long shot , and the driver did a h*** of a job after the initial problems. The driver showed up 4 hours late because of an unanticipated inspection, and actually had to use a different driver than originally intended, which is part of the reason why the driver showed up late. He was supposed to be heading home, but got put on our job at the last minute even though we had this move scheduled for over a week. It was very difficult to get a straight answer as to what time the driver was going to arrive at the house as no one was answering their phones. Thankfully we were not on a tight deadline so this was not a huge deal, but might have been a deal breaker for others. The driver was the only person associated with Mover Dudes. The rest of the hired men were third parties. They hired out the packing to a third party, who did not do a very good job packing. The driver and the guys unloading the truck (also a third party) were constantly commenting about how unprofessional of a job the guys packing did. I did not solicit any of this, and I made no comments. However, that highlights just how bad of a job the packers did as the people unpacking did not even open the boxes. I understand this is not Mover Dudes fault per se, but they are still responsible for the people they hire to do their work. All that being said, nothing arrived broken and we found everything even though some boxes were just random stuff from multiple rooms. The unloaders did a fantastic job, and were very friendly. All that being said, they gave us the best price and actually came in under their quote, which price was the most important aspect for us. Also, the driver was awesome. He busted his butt and did everything he could to get us packed, unpacked, and on our way as smoothly as possible. He even went to Lowe's to pick up some bolts that the packing guys lost for our table! The unloading guys were great and hard working. So other than a bumpy start, the move went well over all. And it was hard to beat their prices. I can definitely look the other way on some rough patches if they saved us over $500 from the next lowest quote and over $1500 from most quotes.

Mover Dudes is based in Virginia. We were in West Virginia. There was no way for them to come see what was in our 3 storage units. Their first quote was high. After United Van Lines came and looked at the units and gave an estimated weight and pricing, Mover Dudes redid their quote based on that. We thought that was very reasonable on their part, since they had a more accurate weight to base their estimate. They were in constant communication with us via e-mail and phone. They returned every single phone message I left, usually the same day. We decided upon a flat fee that would include shipping the car in the truck, along with our household goods. The weather delayed the pick up for one week, but they were there on time on the second date chosen. Turns out the load put in before us was 15,000#, instead of the 8,000# they were told the people had. Our household goods took up every bit of space left with 2' left over in the truck. That meant the vehicle could not go. They arranged for a car carrier to pick up the vehicle the next week, which we had to leave at a car dealership. The truck and nice driver, Bruce, left for Montana March 14, our car left March 20, and we left March 18 on the plane. The household goods arrived March 20 and they had arranged for movers in Montana to unload into a storage unit and to deliver the rental boxes to our condo. They were incredibly nice and did a great job. On the West Virginia end, they arranged for loaders, who were efficient, funny, and enjoyable. Every single person we dealt with were kind, nice, responsive, in constant contact. The Mover Dudes contact people, Adam and Josh, were the best people we have EVER dealt with. You can't get better than them. The vehicle was a couple weeks in coming. Adam put in a request to pay one week of our Montana rental car expense, since the vehicle could not be shipped at the same time of our goods and was delayed a week in arrival. That was above and beyond and very fair. You won't find that with many moving companies. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company. Long-distance moves are hard, both on the people moving and the movers who need to have so many things come together and deal with the weather too. We could not have asked for better. They are the cream of the crop. With short distance moves, they will be just as conscientious and good. Use them!

The team arrived early, were prepared and extremely polite. (I was addressed as "ma'am'd all day long!) We needed our furniture disassembled, moved and reassembled at a new residence. All of the items they were responsible for moving were carefully packed in shipping blankets and wrapped in plastic wrap. Before departing for the new residence, a few items were relocated within the old residence, which was accomplished quickly and (seemingly) easily. Upon arriving at the new house, they laid down floor and carpet protection throughout the house and then went about unloading and reassembling as requested. There were a few items added to the "move" list and they were quick to ask about several other items through the course of the move to insure nothing was left behind or overlooked. All three of the young men were polite, hard-working and very agreeable. It was a pretty hot day and they were moving lots of heavy stuff, but this was not reflected in their attitudes or efforts. Overall, I was impressed by their work ethic and professionalism.

from the time of the initial phone order to the preliminary phone calls to alert us that they were on their way, to the meticulous way our furniture was handled through the whole process we could not have asked for more friendly, attentive and professional movers. Thanks furniture dudes.

Deals are very misleading. Provided my address in the search and mover dudes came up as the top provider. When i called about the deal, they tried to add on travel time and give a quote on a per item basis. Very confusing and misleading.

Mover Dudes were highly responsive and professional with the work that they did. I purchased a "Big Deal" from them but due to their location, I had to pay travel costs for the crew and downsize the number of men for the job which we negotiated. In another recent move, I had a crew of two guys that had the job done in an afternoon. With four, I figured it would be a breeze but we ended up going over by $1,150. That's the price of a professional mover as they took their time wrapping everything which I appreciated but in the future, if I have to move again (hopefully never again), I'll go with a fast crew for most things and will leave the higher priced items to a crew like Mover Dudes. Be sure to check on any travel costs if they are out of your immediate service area but I do recommend them as they were highly responsive, courteous and careful.

It was excellent. They did a great job. We packed ourselves and they essentially did the loading & unloading. Reasonable, right in the middle estimate.

Prompt arrival careful handling of items. They were quick and all items were same as when they want on the truck.
