Excellent. The team was efficient, professional and pleasant. They converted my oil furnace installation to all electric heat pump and AC. Cleaned up well after the job and my new AC is whisper quiet. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Professional technician repaired two of the 3 systems and got them operational. On the 3rd system he identified possible cause of failure and provided follow up options for repairs.

When the technician arrived he would not go on the roof to inspect the AC unit. The company's insurance would not allow technician to use a ladder to access the roof. This seems to be a poor business practice, as most AC units are on the roof of new town homes.

Fantastically well. Clint actually knew what the problem was after a brief explanation. The heat pump compressor had been installed on a very cold January day and therefore could not have been fully loaded. The original vendor should have told us that and followed up when the temperature rose.

I have been a McCrea customer since 1994. I have never met a service man like Jason Andes before. His knowledge , personality, and willingness to serve and complete the service was commendable. One of the best ways to ensure excellence in customer satisfaction is to provide competent, customer focused service representatives like Jason. The quality of the work was great, it is the product I am not sure about. Just had the system put in last year and the mother board needed to be replaced. While it took longer than expected to receive the part, once received, it was replaced the next business day. The technicians were knowledgeable and efficient. They replaced the part and performed the inspection; and explained it all so I could understand what they did (they even replaced the air filter without my asking). I have used this company for over ten years and find their employees willing to help me keep my system running smoothly and efficiently. I highly recommend McCrea of VA for your HVAC needs.

It was an excellent experience. My water heater had a leak. I called McCrea and a technician came out to assess the problem. I had a quote and selection of the numbers 1&2 best water heaters that evening. The next business day two great technicians came out and installed my new water heater. The technicians were professional, experienced, courteous and exceptionally neat. Just a great experience!

Had Trane Unit installed about 4 years ago. Have used McCrea for service contract from the beginning. Their Techs seem to be getting better each time them service is performed. Today's Tech, Andrew was extremely knowledge and helpful. Pointed out some things I need to do on my own. Recommended a UV unit and did a good job explaining the features and benefits. Very professional.

As always, the technician was very thorough and explained what he did and answered all my questions. A year and a half ago, I had McCrea install a complete new HVAC system. I was already impressed with their service, and found their price for the new system to be the best in the area. I highly recommend this company and its employees.

Kris was the sales person who came out and accessed and provided the new heat pump. he was very professional and polite. Gave us several options to choose from. Brian Bulter was our technican and did an amazing job. we had a lot of moisture in the line (due to a leak) and he took the time to make sure to remove it which had him working till late into the evening. Professional, polite, and a hard worker. can't ask for more!

We have a service contract with McCrea, and Dennis is the Service Technician that we normally have for our HVAC inspections twice a year. Although some homeowners don't believe service contracts are worth the investment, our service contract with McCrea is well worth it. McCrea has always provided a quick turnaround when a replacement part needs to be ordered. We have never had to wait weeks to get our HVAC fixed, and it is fixed right during the first attempt. Getting a consistent technician who we are familiar with and trust in is also important to us, and Dennis is always professional, prompt, neat and has a great deal of knowledge about his trade. We also appreciate that he doesn't try to sell us services that we don't really need. He is an exceptional technician who is a great representation of McCrea.

It went well. Installers were professional and did a good job. Site was left clean.

I scheduled an appointment for regular maintenance of our heat pump and air handler. A day before the appointment I received a message canceling it because the technician was unavailable. That’s fine. Things happen. After being on the phone with three different people I rescheduled the maintenance for a week later. After staying home from work to meet the technician, he never showed up. No phone call, no contact. I do not advise doing business with this company.

They found the problem and fixed it quickly. It was more minor than I had expected so it saved me money over what I thought would be a major expense.

The Tech was awesome, he was on time, professional, gave suggestions of what I could fix on my own and recommended other things that would be professional work.

Great! - was able to schedule tech same day, arrived ahead of anticipated time. He was polite, thorough and informative. He discussed options and was able to resolve the issue immediately.

The team arrived with A/C units that were the wrong size. To their credit, they were able to locate the right sized units and have them delivered to the house. I did have to re-sign quote paperwork though and I ended up having to pay more than what was originally quoted even though it wasn't my fault that wrong sized systems showed up. It wasn't alot more, but still. The install crew worked really hard and got the systems installed that same day and it is working much better than the old system which was on its last legs. However, I had asked them if they checked the airflow in each room and was told that the airflow in each room was good. I had also told the crew about a broken ceiling vent in my son's room and was told it would be looked at and fixed. After the crew left and the A/C came on, I went room to room to check the airflow coming from the vents and that's when I discovered that there is very little air coming from the vent in my uppermost bedroom and in both vents in the living room. I contacted my point of contact (POC) at McCrea about this situation and he told me that we are waiting on a response from the installation manager - that was 3 days ago. Also, I was told that the financing paperwork that the crew gave me to sign was all that I needed to do and McCrea would take care of the rest. However, the day after the install, I was contacted and told that I needed to go to their website and fill out a form for financing. When I told the POC about it he was like, "Yeah, go to the website and fill out the form". No apologies for the miscommunication or anything. The positive is that the installation crew was professional and worked really hard to get both systems installed in a shortened time frame due to the snafu with having wrong sized equipment. Negatives - (1) The miscommunication about the financing paperwork (2) The installation crew showing up with the wrong sized units (not their fault) (3) The vent still broken in the one room and (4) Insufficient airflow in some rooms. (5) Having to pay more for a mistake that McCrea made. Still waiting on an answer from McCrea as to if they are going to fix any of these issues. I'm happy to update this review if McCrea resolves outstanding issues satisfactorily.

The estimate given by Mark was professional and handled promptly. We put in Trane and Mccrea is one of their specialist, The installation was done shortly after we reviewed all our estimates and decided who we wanted to do the work. The crew (Jonni, Ray & Charles) did the installation professionally. They were polite and answered our questions ( especially about the ductless split system which was previously unknown to us) Mark had suggested this as a solution to a basement heating issue.We intend to take a service contract to an existing Trane heat pump on second floor of our home.

My appointment was from 2-5pm on Friday 7, 2018. Around 5pm, i received a call from McCree stating the technician will be a little late. I said "ok." About 6:30pm the technician still have not shown up, I called McCree and the lady stated she will have a technician call back within an hour and a half but I also request a MANAGER to call me. I did not get a call until 9:30pm, asking if he still have to come over. I said "YES", he came but could not work on the unit because he said "he forgot his tools, can he come back tomorrow?" I said "YES" because i need my A/C fix, what choices do i have?!! The A/C is fixed but this is horrible. I wasted so much time with McCree. And til this day, i have not received a call from a McCree manager.

This was our first time dealing with McCrea and they were great. We were able to schedule a servicing/cleaning for our mini splits the next day, and Chris - the technician - was punctual and polite. And answered many, many questions from me. He was really helpful and, as a result, we are very likely to use McCrea again.

The technician (Dennis) was very knowledgeable and professional. 2 zone service performed and took time to answer all my questions. I plan to continue to use McCrea for all my heating and air conditioning services/repairs/replacements.

John King was a very professional estimator. Not only did he carefully inspect the attic system, he drew a complete diagram. He carried a portable printer and printed out several varied estimates on the spot. While his price was higher than the vendor we decided to use, I would definitely recommend getting an estimate from him and McCrea.
