Needed a clogged sink drain cleared. I called several plumbers in the area, all of which were either closed, booked, or only available for emergency services. One booked plumbing company referred me to Peed. They were also booked for the day, but said they'd try to fit me in. Within a couple hours, I received a call that a plumber was on the way. The work was very fast and efficient. The plumber offered a few approaches to the problem, and actually steered me to the most cost-effective solution. He finished the work very quickly, and even recommended a pro-active approach to prevent recurrence. I am extremely satisfied with this experience, and would highly recommend Peed for future service. This review, in no way, should be considered for CroppMetcalfe.

They were very professional and quick and he did a little bit extra than what was needed so that was nice. It works better now than before it was broken.

John arrived late because he was backed up by previous jobs that took longer than expected. He found the problem and then found another with a leaking shower faucet. He was able to order new parts for the faucet and repaired it as soon as they came in.

They were always on time (or early), very professional in explaining what work was required at what price before starting and left the area they were working cleaner than it had been before they arrived. In on e case, they recommended a $50 chemical solution to what would have been a $!500 service.

The plumber was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He cleaned up after his work and took his time to explain what he was doing and why.

These were two different people, a couple of years apart. Both were punctual, friendly yet professional, interested in solving the problem, didn't try to sell up to a more expensive solution, were time effiicient--just what you'd want from a repair person. I will definitely use again should I need the services of a plumber. Love that they maintain clean trucks! Looks like they really care, which I think they do.

My faucet was broken. They quoted me a price that was too high so they told me I could buy the part on my own and they'd install it, that way it would be cheaper for the project. I paid about $65 for the part and I received 10% off the labor with Peed Plumbing.

They asked if they could come earlier than the time originally they said they could come, and we agreed. The serviceman was very polite and professional. The mixer valve needed to be replaced and the serviceman replaced it. The service took about 45 minutes. Unfortunately after he left we noticed that the toilet was still leaking-though not as much as originally. We called Peed to let them know and within an hour of our call, another serviceman came out, made some minor adjustments to the original serviceman's work which corrected the problem and stopped the leaking. Peed followed up with us to make certain that the problem had been rectified and that we were happy with their overall service and responsiveness which we were. We have usedPeed before and have been happy with the service they have provided.

I called them at approximately 11:30 AM to schedule an appointment. I was very surprised when the receptionist (Kelly) told me they could take care of it today. She said she would call back, and advise me of approximately when to expect the plumber. I hung up, and received a call less than 30 minutes later telling me that the plumber would arrive around 1:00 PM. It went very smoothly. He arrived and took a look at the faucets from the outside, and then inside. Gave me an estimate that was in line with the phone estimate I received earlier. He was done in about an hour, was very careful and clean, and restored all and everything is fine. I would definitely recommend them, and use them in the future.

Their work was good. The flow system was complicated and they are not known to everybody and they seem to be one of the few plumbing companies in the area who knew how to work on them. We were pleased to find somebody who knew that.

I decided not to use them because I found somebody else. They wanted to do a lot of replacement work so I went to somebody else who actually did the repairs and stood up much more inexpensively which is what I expecting in the first place; I ended up spending about $400. It was not a hard decision to make. I have used them before and I liked their estimate but this time I was glad I did not use them. Their plumbers operate on commission and I ended up finding somebody who paid their plumbers on a salary and it was worth that much better. They know how to do the work and are confident. I would be looking for plumbers who don’t work for a commission; I have come to realize that it is not good for me to deal with people like that.

Update to initial review. I was pleased that Peed contacted me after my review to fix the problem. They ordered the new part and repaired the faucet without additional charge. The plumber they sent this time was experienced and very professional. This is more inline with our previous experiences with the company. I appreciate a company that takes the steps to make things right when mistakes are made. We will use them again, but I will definitely be certain to request the last plumber by name. *********************** The first plumber sent was very professional and efficient in identifying the problem. He researched the faucet to find the replacement part and let me know within a day how much it would be and how long it would take. However, when the part was supposed to be received, I did not hear from them to schedule an appointment. It was not until I called them, that I found out the part had not yet been ordered. Weeks later, a second plumber was sent to install part. When he completed the work, he brought the paperwork over to be signed. When I went to the faucet to check the work, I noticed that there were severe dents and the finish had been ruined where he had used a wrench on the faucet. He never brought this to my attention and expected me to sign without letting me know! He said the faucet had been tight and there was no way to avoid the damage. He said he had used a kitchen towel on the counter to try avoid the damage. Had he asked, I would have provided him with more padding than a thin tea towel! I contacted the manager and explained the damage. He said he would send a supervisor the next day to inspect it and that they would "make things right". The manager called back a few minutes later saying he had spoken with the plumber and felt that he had done everything he could, but damage was unavoidable. Therefore, he would not even send out a supervisor. He continued to say they would work with me by not charging for labor for installing the replacement collar on the faucet. He would get back to me once he found out how much the new part would be. I left messages to follow up and I have not heard from them since. This was an expensive kitchen faucet which is now ruined. We had used Peed in the past and felt that, although they were more expensive, they were a good local company that we could trust to do the job right. Clearly they no longer care about quality or customer satisfaction.

No problems and plumber very professional.

We moved into our new home approximately one year ago. As our home came with a warranty, Peed has been responsible for handling any plumbing issues that arise during the warranty period. In general, Peed has been very reliable and their technicians appear competent. While one plumbing issue in particular required multiple service calls to remedy, there was no charge for the visits and Peed was able to eventually fix the problem. Again, all plumbing work was covered by the builder's warranty, so I am unable to comment on Peed's prices. That having been said, I would not hesitate to contact them for plumbing matters once the builder's warranty has expired.

Peed Plumbing Inc. We haven't used them in several years and I won't use them again. I guess it was about four years ago. They charge for everything. In other words, they have a flat fee for every job they do. And therefore if you wanted them to do two things, they would charge a flat fee for both of those jobs as well as the fee to come out in the first place. I'm more of the opinion that a service provider should charge you up front what your hourly charge is and it shouldn't be sperate charge for everything it should reflect more time and materials. Their prices are extremely high. In general I think everyone should get at least three estimates from a plumber but they should ask up front what your fees are for the work that you think that you need done.

All in all, a very good experience. We had been looking for a reliable and reasonably-priced plumbing service for a long time and think we have finally found one. We are very pleased with Peed Plumbing and intend to use them for future plumbing needs.

They were one of the only companies to return my call. They had the best price out of the 2 I did get in contact with. The plumber was very nice. They came out replaced the water heater and even fixed a faucet for me.

When we received our quarterly water bill, we knew something was wrong. Our normal usage for that quarter is around 8,000 gallons; our bill was for 100,000 gallons. Even with the water main turned off in the house, the meter showed water use at the rate of 1 gallon a minute. There was no sign of a leak in our yard. The water company came out on Tuesday and verified that the meter was working properly and delivered the news that we apparently had a leak in in the line between the meter and our house ... about 300 feet of water line. On Wednesday, I called Peed Plumbing after identifying them through Angie's List and the services listed on their website. Service Manager, Mark was out within a matter of hours. He guided us that we needed to call a specialty company to identify where the line was leaking. Mark pulled a folder of business cards from his truck and gave me the names and numbers of the two companies in our area. (Another plumber who had been out before Mark couldn't remember the names of the companies, but knew there was one out there.) I was able to get the leak location company out early the next morning (Thursday). The leak was next to the house where the water line came up in the basement, which was also right next to the gas line and heat pump units. I called Peed Plumbing again. Mark arrived within a couple of hours. He looked over the site, discussed how best to repair, gave us a quote, and called his workman about the job. David arrived early on Friday morning and started digging by hand. After many, many hours, he finally found the pipe more than 7 feet down. (He had to place a ladder in the hole to get in and out, and for safety.) He drilled a hole through the basement wall 6 feet down to run a new section of water line to connect to the house's main water pipe. He tested the line to make sure there was no leakage at the repair or elsewhere in the line. He also cut off the old pipe and patched the basement floor where the original pipe was. Mark and David were great. We truly appreciated the prompt service and would hire Peed Plumbing again.
