They ordered the wrong wrap material and never checked the box's color before they came out to do the installation. Had to wait another month to get the job completed.

They were very courteous from the sales Representative to the workers. It took 6 weeks for the custom doors to be ready for installation. They had a team of installers arrive and installed them in one day. They were precise in their work. They were very clean in their work also except for a bit of debris remaining in the back yard. I called them the next day to mention that but mostly the overall job was a very good, quick and precise.

First of all, I was referred by a friend and neighbor whose opinion I value very highly. The salesman was friendly and informative, no pressure at all. The price was not the lowest around, but it was close, and for the product I feel it was the best value. I didn't hear from them for three weeks after placing my order, and when I called to find out the status of my windows they said, "Oh, they have come in and the install department should be calling you within the next few days to set up a time." Since I had not heard from them I was disappointed that I had to call to prompt them to set up an install date. They came that Thursday early in the morning (7:00 AM). They found some bad wood and didn't charge me much to re-frame the window opening. It only took 2 1/2 hours for the whole job, but the windows were not cleaned when the crew finished, and the spaces around the window were filled with caulk instead of insulation. This is apparently an industry standard that I was not aware of.

They did a great job. They were prompt and on time. We are very satisfied with the results. They were professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend them and I have.

Their price was right and they didn't hound us to do business which is the normal sales practice of some of their competitors. However, I did not like their workmanship; it was sloppy, lazy, and unprofessional.

We used WW in Newport News, which came highly recommended from several other friends. I researched 5 other companies and WW had the best price. 26 windows out and new ones in, in just over 3 hours. Yard was cleaned, all windows worked. Crew a bit rough and ready, but did a good job. Only slight dissatisfaction, was the fill job done on an inside window sill where a center style was removed to turn 2 windows into one picture. I haven't bothered to call, as I think I can fix it. Salesman was Peter. Patient, answered all my questions (which were MANY), and very professional. Payment was 50% down with remainder upon completion. Warranties were sent through the mail and the coverage is excellent, as well as transferable 1 time.

It was very good. When we signed the contract, they said the windows would arrive on time and they did. They started work promptly. They were done rapidly and they brought a large crew to work as well.

Salesman was easy and informative; no pressure. Price was way below other estimates of comparable value product. Upon signing the contract we paid half down and the balance at installation. Was told we'd be contacted in 2-3 weeks after signing to schedule the installation which did not happen until I called them. The installation crew showed on time and commenced to demo'ng my house. What that means is it's a dirty loud process at least to remove the type windows we had. Broken glass, wood, metal shards and drywall inside and out. They'd pick up the big stuff as they went. They'd set the new windows in the holes then move to the next and so on. I eventually grabbed my vacuum and went behind and vacuumed each area after them, way to much debris being tracked around. They mentioned they'd take care of cleaning up but I'm not one to have that amount of mess left in each room. I do not place any blame here as I said, it's a dirty process. Once all windows were set in place they went back around leveling and shimming. Then they enclosed the gaps with trim and sealed inside and out. I was given an instructional walk through on the operation of the windows and door. I was a little surprised that they never went back and cleaned up inside assuming I had done it all and this included the windows. I've been picking up debris for a week around the yard that was overlooked but not overly disconcerting. We noticed a week later that 2 upstairs windows are "cocked" and will not close and lock. A call regarding this was placed Tuesday night with a call back yesterday awaiting scheduling. Again, I had to call them to get it scheduled. If I'm afforded the ability to update this report I will once they fix the 2 windows.

On February 5, 2008, Mr. Peter Knight, the sales representative, met with me at my home for about one hour, and gave a very professional presentation, displaying a sample window, explaining options and patiently answering my questions. As promised, the windows were ready for installation by appointment on the week of April 7th. The 3-man installation crew from Michigan Elite, Jim Lonchar (foreman), Jake Cortez, and Kenny Schivers, arrived on time and completed the 8 double hung windows within a few hours; however, due to inclement weather, the half round window had to be rescheduled for replacement the following week, with Don Smith filling in for Kenny. The workmanship is excellent; the workmen were polite and efficient and neat in their work. I am so pleased to have windows that will no longer need maintenance! Also, these windows are super-easy to operate and to clean; and the lifetime warranty is great, too.

It went well. Work crew arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently. Were courteous. Finished the project in approximately 3 hours.

They did a great job for me and I found them to be very neat and tidy with the work. They did not try to push sales upon me at all. They were also very good about hauling all the old material away so I didn't have to worry about it.

They did a great job and I'm happy with the results. One important thing to know is that they charge the same price for any window, no matter the size. Also the ads they publish in the newspaper have a price, but then when you call them you realize it doesn't include all the work. The good thing is that they tell you about it right away, but the advertisement can be easily misunderstood. They charge per window.

They were in and out in little time. They arrived on time and cleaned up all the mess. They removed all the old windows and glass for me. I thought they were very efficient and that they offered a very affordable service.

Window World of Tidewater was fantastic to work with. I was so impressed with the care they took of my property. They spread sheeting around, so they wouldn't damage anything. They were so professional and courteous and super nice. Everything was cleaned up perfectly. One of the windows had a crack in it and they were very quick to replace it.

The installers were very helpful in giving my husband advice for the installation of some large casement windows. As we opted to install these on our own. The installers showed up according to the stated schedule. I am quite satisfied with the quality of the windows and the installation job.

They were on time, I felt they were very efficient. They were very knowledgeable, they answered all my questions, they cleaned up. They were very good.

Charlie Casci and Window World did and excellent job, start to finish. The sales process did not entail the slightest pressuring. Charlie arrived as agreed for the estimate, gave me the facts and pricing, and all the time I needed to decide. They typically needed four weeks advance notice but I needed the windows in two weeks. He said they would do their best. The windows were in in two weeks. The installers were very friendly and professional. I had gotten two other estimates. One was slightly less from a smaller company, and one was considerably higher. I considered the price very competitive and the work very good. It was a totally positive experience.

The installers were on time, did a good job and were very helpful.

Window World needs training in the importance of proper crew scheduling and time allotment per job, customer support, and construction oversight. My windows look nice BUT, the crew showed up six hours late on a Saturday. They showed up at 3PM to put in 25 windows. They had to come back on Sunday to finish the job, which ruined my weekend. The crew rushed through the job. It was dark while they were performing work, which caused damage to the house. Someone had to come back again because of faulty work. I had a lot of cleaning up to do after them. You are pretty much on your own if you have your windows installed on the weekends or after 4:30 pm during the week, they have absolutely NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT on the weekends and after 4:30 pm during the week, and they do NOT provide their own construction oversight (they subcontract the installers). The frustration factor was very high.

They were excellent in every way. They were very good at cleaning up afterwards. They offered many suggestion to improve other parts of the property. They did an especially excellent job of caulking.

These guys were a very customer friendly company and I was very happy with the entire experience that I had with them. They worked very hard and finished the job in one day. This would be a good company for others to try.

I have used Window World around 10 times in the past and they have always done a good job for me. My windows and trim they installed looked great when they were done. They cleaned up after themselves and as always, were hardworking. They were really skill

The work that these guys did was spectacular. All of the windows look great. I truly believe they are the best in town. I do feel that their price was unbeatable. I did have another company quote me $6000 for the same job that these guys did for $2500. I feel that they were unbeatable.

These guys are great. The windows they installed look great and we haven't had a single problem with any of them. They were thousands cheaper than other companies we had contacted. I really don't think that I can say enough praise about them.

They did a great job on all the work. We interviewed six other companies and they had the best price. The other companies that I talked to wanted 20,000 dollars for just the windows. The siding and windows look great. They measured to fit properly. They had a great show room where they showed us their work. They did give us a 50-year warranty.
