Window World followed through with everything they said they would do. Their installers were friendly and helpful. They were recommended to me and I would recommend them to you. Richard N.

Window World is an excellent window replacement company. The project crew arrived at 9 A.M. and completed the replacement at 12:30. From start to finish, customer service and work performance was superb. During the colder months, my gas bill was $180-$225 before the replacement. After the replacement, my gas bill is $100-$160 a month during colder months. My electrical during hotter months went from $125-$160 to $75-$110. If my energy cost figures and performance review does not make you call Window World, I do not what will.

The windows were installed in July, and I waited to write this until I had a chance to check them out. I'm happy with the windows, but not the install. They didn't clean up or do a quality check of their work. They didn't put a tarp inside or outside of the window they were working on. So, there were chunks of mortar, insulation, and brick on the ground and floor. When they cut the tips of the caulk, they threw them on the ground. Inside, they didn't even vacuum up the mess, although I was later told they should have taken a shop vac to the inside. The crew leader didn't inspect the caulk job before they left. There were many places with gaps. The only reason I would consider hiring them again is that I don't know of another firm that would do a better install of windows at the same price point.

I scheduled an appointment for 2 separate rental properties, the first one with just one window, and the second one with 8 windows to be replaced. The first one was a 5' x 5' slider and the person quoted over $600. I inquired about the $189 price and he said that was just for windows that slide up and down. I went to the next property and for 8 windows, the quote was almost $4,000. I asked about the special that I was certain was advertised in the current issue of the Angies List booklet, and he told me that was not their company. I told him I recalled a price that showed "$189 installed" and he politely told me that I was mistaken. I took a picture of the ad along with the front cover showing the October 2018 issue and sent it to him and he had "Josh, the owner" call me. I understood Josh to say that he would honor that ad, even though he said Angies list ran an old ad, but when the salesperson called again, he said they would still charge $99 per window for installation, even though their ad clearly showed "ANY SIZE $189 WINDOW INSTALLED" and I would have to call Josh again. It also says in small print below "white double hung up to 4' x 6'. I called Josh last Saturday and told him I know it is a Saturday so to please call me this week, and I sent him a text yesterday, and as of now, no response from him. In the interest of full disclosure, there were extra charges for the separator thing that makes a window look like there are several panes within a window, and they had a charge for disposal, and they had a charge for it being in a 3rd floor condo, and other charges I don't remember now since I never did get a written quote, but I was willing to pay the upcharges for those things, but it is simply wrong, and in my opinion, that is false advertising!

The process went very well and the gentlemen who performed the job were punctual and very professional as well as friendly.

I was SO impressed. I didn't expect to be. Window World was the lowest estimate....buy a fair amount. They advertise a lot. I really expected to get by with the job they did, but did not expect to be impressed. I am IMPRESSED. The job was replacing the upper windows in a two story room. They also had to take down and replace vertical blinds that had been in place for 30 years and would cost a true fortune to replace. We were very nervous. The crew arrived mid morning (they had to come to the Peninsula from Virginia Beach through the traffic). We never thought they could do such a complicated job in one day. They were completely finished before 4:00. They were marvelously professional. They absolutely made it look easy, which it certainly was not and they did all these nearly impossible things with such good humor that it was a real pleasure to have them in our home. I would and do recommend Window World without reservations.......no with enthusiasm. Our last window replacement project was done by Mr. Rogers Windows and they were excellent too......but at a much much higher price.

If you read this review on other social media sorry for the duplication but I am so dissatisfied with Window World that I will post on any and every platform available to make sure other consumers are informed. Backstory. We bought a house that had one year old window world windows. The owner of the home was a divorced woman. When the windows were installed the woman was still married and everything was in her husbands name including the WW warranty. They divorced she bought him out of the house and we bought the house from her NOT the husband. I'm sure the last thing they thought about was transferring the WW warranty to her when they divorced. But I digress. Fast forward to us owning the home and several windows are cloudy where whatever is between the panes has leaked. We find out that when our windows were installed WW had a "bad batch" basically defective windows and they know it. Instead of reaching out to homeowners who have these bad windows they let it go. So we have bad windows and WW will not stand behind them and replace them because the warranty was never transferred. So we get punished. I understand rules but WW installed a faulty product. All the ads and talk about being the family that stand on and behind their windows is not true. The lifetime warranty is not truly lifetime. The customer service is terrible and hey honestly don't care. I am beyond frustrated and will NEVER recommend WW to anyone. Please do your research before choosing the company with the most ads or most recognizable name. Those are the ones you have to watch. A company that does not allow anything but glowing reviews on their social media has something to hide. UPDATE: so Window World corporate reaches out on Twitter asked me to call. I did and talked to very nice people who said they would look into my issue and talk with Josh from WW of Tidewater. Well that was Friday and here we are Tuesday with no follow up. Not winning any fans here.

Transaction was smooth and easy from start to finish. First, the salesman that came and gave us the cost, we told him we needed to discuss and would get back with him. We got zero pressure from him to sign right away. When we called back to let him know we were going with them, he was quick to come back and take all the measurements. The day of installation, the fella showed up on time & worked non stop until done. Beautiful job, beautiful windows! I highly recommend.

This is a top of the line company from the free estimate to installation. Installed 17 windows in 2.5 hours great job!!

We had 20 windows replaced. The new windows appear to be good quality and are a definite improvement over the original. Several minor issues were noticed with the exterior trim/wrap work done around the exterior of the windows. The crew came back out to address the issues and some were taken care of. Overall the exterior work did not meet my expectations and was not the best quality work.

Windows were replaced after a break in forcing one of the sliders open. Window World's Charlie Casci came out the next day, measured, and ordered the replacement windows. It took several weeks to get the windows, as he said they had so many orders they were backed up. Todd installed the windows as soon as they came in and I am very happy and safer with them.

Found a little bit of caulk on blue carpet and a few pieces of wood in the yard but the overall job was great. Everything went smoothly and we couldn't be happier.

I couldn't be happier with the way this job went. Crew showed up on time and ready to work. I couldn't believe how fast that they got the job done. The finished product looked awesome, better then I anticipated. I would definitely hire Window World again

Had a patio door installed by window world 2.5 years ago, door always had issues with leaks and there is an issue with the exterior surface showing the fiberglass on the exterior. WW stated it was our fault due to door not being painted - we were never advised it had to be painted when it was installed or it would have been painted. However this is not the problem, the main issue is the door leaks and gaskets continue to go bad, the door is just a poor quality door for what we paid for it. We never use this door and we have gaskets going bad, not to mention WW is not using this manufacturer any more due to problems (right from owners mouth). Rep continues to make excuses on why it's our fault the door has issues. His excuses (direct sun light, no roof over door) things that the sales and installers should have advised us about, but never did. People are very nice but recommend against buying their entry doors - you can get a better entry door at the same price or better if you shop around.

The salesman was friendly and professional, and never did I feel any pressure after receiving the free quote. We received no-interest financing through the company, and signed a contract a few days after receiving the quote. The installation crew showed up about an hour early, which we were fine with, and was understanding when not all the windows areas were completely cleared (it was the day after Christmas). The crew worked quickly, and were in and out in less than 4 hours. They did a fantastic job on the installation, and pointed out any concerns they had about the structure of the house. The one minor quibble I had was that there was some scraps left behind that required some cleanup, but honestly, far less than the usual construction crew leaves, so I cannot fault them too much.

Wonderful, we ordered 16 series 4000 windows about 5 weeks prior to installation and their representative, Andrew, came to our home and demonstrated the actual window that we ordered. They came yesterday with a crew of 4 men and they had the installation completed in about 4 hours and they carted away all the old windows and trash, cleaned up the yard and each person knew his job and did it well. I was impressed with the entire operation and I would recommend them to anyone. I also had proposals from 3 other companies some less, some more but none as totally complete including a lifetime guarantee.

The sales person, Andrew of Window World was very knowledgeable and honest in his dealings. I would recommend to all who need windows.

Whenever we have a window issue, we always call them. They have the best prices. In the paper work that we received from the person that we purchased the house from, that is who they have used. They originally installed them. It was the same company that we like. We had them come back and fix them for nothing. They are always good. Their prices are great. The people are wonderful. They are just a nice company.
