Description of Work: December 2014 - Removed 14 contractor grade double hung composite windows and inserted 4000 Series Solar Zone pocket inserts with argon. I understood that insulation would be sprayed around entire window insert to close gaps but instead, only spray foam fills in huge gap (1/2"+) between window and frame at bottom of window. One window in an unfinished ROG had air blowing into room because of no interior window trim. This proves that these windows rely on the interior trim to stop the elements! After I pointed this out, they sprayed foam around the openings which helped this window's performance. The caulking around the aluminum trim for all windows was completed sloppily also. They did not use ladders of the correct height to easily reach the tops and sides of the windows. In one room, the window frame was pushed in when they were hammering the old window block to remove it - which damaged the interior dry wall. They came to fix the drywall on 1.9.15. Insisted they do so rather than subtract from the total purchase price for an accommodation. I waited almost a month to be on the schedule for my area. Now I must paint that room. They try to clean up after themselves (although I found pieces of composite window block, wood, aluminum wrap around the house perimeter and a long screw in my driveway). Crew is mannerly and have a good rapport with one another - teasing each other, etc. My team was from Michigan. House doesn't feel particularly warmer and windows fog up with condensation - my old windows didn't fog up. We'll see how they perform in summer. I hope there really is argon in between the glass panes.

They came and they said they would didn't excellent job of insulation and clean up the windows have been performing well without issues for the last two years and I've definitely reduce the amount of draft in my house.

Description of Work: Replaced 13 windows. Job was done well and the crew was excellent. They cleaned up all of their trash and left the area clean and neat. I like the quality of the product and the installation. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: They replaced a set of Florida windows in my Den with normal windows. They were very large windows and they did a fantastic job. A couple of years down the road now and happier than ever.

Description of Work: Window World replaced all of the windows on the front of our house, and they did a great job. Their salesman was professional, courteous, and not pushy. When it came time to replace a window in the back of the house, we called them again. Same happy story. GREAT JOB.

Description of Work: I have used them on two separate occasions and had 20 windows and one sliding door replaced. The salesman was experienced, knowledgeable and did not push me to buy. He also didn't sell to me by downing other companies like others did. The team that put in my windows and door were on time, polite and very professional. The windows and door were in quick and they cleaned up after themselves. I will have them finish my last few and recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Installed 7 windows in my condo. Provided estimate-the person that came to give the estimate was normal-friendly, funny and real about things. Not creepy, no pushing. I setup date and the day of install,three guys showed up and installed the windows. They were hard working, cleaned up after, and provided a demo about how to use the windows.

Description of Work: Gary Nelson was my salesman. He was prompt, polite and patient with all of my questions. He was my first estimator, and I ended up calling him with follow up questions after getting estimates from two other companies (all with in $200 of each other). He had ready references and the answers to my secondary questions. The installation team was quick, they cleaned up after themselves, cleared all of the stickers off the windows, showed me how to use them and then humored my need for extra caulking in a few spots. They also pointed out some prior termite damage that they discovered when they removed my original windows. I had 27 windows installed. The office team is what knocked an otherwise straight A report card to a few B's. They didn't respond to my request to replace a cracked window promptly. My tenant discovered it a few days after the installation, it took about two weeks of phone calls to get the replacement panel ordered. I was disappointed that I had to keep following up on their progress. They never called to let me know what was going on.

Description of Work: They installed 14 windows in under 3 hrs, and clean up was amazing. I was a little curious as to the dollars charged for replacing the rotten wood in 2 window sills (dollars charged was not concurrent with the contract) but I paid it inspite of my misgivings as the work done was impressive. I only wished I had done the sliding patio door at the same time.
