Unfortunately, timing did not work out for us to chose to work with Susan, but she was extremely helpful in providing updates on our home (we live on the other side of the country), detailing a scope of work that needed to be completed to make our house competitive when it was listed, and helped us contact and hire another high-quality property manager in the area when she determined she was unable to manage our property. She was amazing to work with, even though it was a short period, and we would easily recommend her to others based off of the limited but thorough work she provided.

She has done an excellent job taking care of everything from finding very well qualified tenants, to making sure that everything in the house is taking care of. She always makes sure that when there is an issue with the house that it gets resolved immediately. We live outside the state and had not been back to visit the house for six years and we were so happy that the house was in such great shape besides some cosmetic things that need to be addressed by us. It's so great to know that our home is well taken care off and we know she will go above and beyond when anything is needed. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent property manager.

For almost five years Susan cared for our house like it was her own. She was always on her game dealing with any issues as well as keeping the house in perfect shape so when it came time to sell she was able to get it sold in less than a week for almost full asking price. We could not have asked for a better property manager. We had a bad taste in our mouth from a previous expereince dealing with a property manager on another property, Susan and her crew were on the opposite side of the spectrum. I can not say enough good things about our experience with them. if you want a GOOD, HONEST, and just all around AWESOME property manager I can not recommend Susan high enough.

Susan was not only a rockstar property manager but she was able to sell our house in less than a week on the market. During the whole process she was responsive to all of our questions regardless of the time of day, let alone the day of the week. I could count on her to handle anything that came up and even when there were some problems on the buyers end she kept on them until everything was finally done. She also knew we were in the process of purchasing a new home in a different area and would give us advice because the agent we were using for the new house was lacking in knowledge and expertise. Susan rocked from start to finish and I CANNOT praise her enough for everything she did for us.

Susan was absolutely fantastic to work with every step of the way. From the very beginning she was extremely professional, always making herself available whenever I needed. This was my first time going through the selling process and she made it incredibly easy. She advised me on a few touch ups to make to the house in order to make it more marketable as well as several strategies in order to make it sell as fast as possible. We had a full price offer on the house within 20 days of listing while other homes in the neighborhood had been sitting on the market for 60+ days. I am military and was out of town for a month while trying to execute the contract so Susan took care of everything! She arranged for all the discrepancies with the home inspection to be taken care of as well as took care of little things like putting packages in the home and putting my trash can that had been left out back in the garage. We had several issues with the first buyer and ended up terminating the initial contract, however Susan had a buyer and an offer within 3 days. When the second buyer ran into issues with obtaining financing, Susan advised me to move on from the contract even though she stood to benefit greatly. Despite losing two buyers, Susan remained positive and we were under contract again within 2 days. Throughout the entire process, Susan was a true professional and always had my best interest in mind. She listened to my concerns and made the process of selling my home while out of town easy. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a real estate agent or property manager in the Hampton Roads area. Her professional knowledge of real estate and property management is second to none.

I was referred by a friend who had used Team Jubilee in the past. The team had managed his property while he was stationed in Guam for three years. I was explaining my lack of satisfaction with property managers and after hearing my story, he said, "Oh, you need Jubilee my friend!" I called Susan Jubilee and asked for an appointment initially for property management. She stopped by the next day and spent almost three hours going over the details of the home, recommendations, and passing references to trusted contractors. I was floored, as she was very thorough and detail oriented. She told me that I would need to spend a few thousand dollars!! I was skeptical at first; but I took her recommendations, replaced a 25 year old water heater and had the interior of the house painted. It paid off, because she and her team found us a tenant within three days. They moved in with zero days of unplanned vacancy! When we were ready to sell, they listed the property and we sold it within two days of expiration of the current tenant's lease. The key part of this, which is often missed, is that her and her team were instrumental in maintaining the property in ready-to-sell condition! Throughout the whole process, updates were timely and I really didn't have to do much. In the end, I lost no money from vacancy or damages, made money on my home, and had the opportunity to work with a consummate professional of the highest caliber, a true leader of a stellar team. We absolutely recommend Team Jubilee a thousand times over! Susan Jubilee, and her wonderful staff, helped my husband and me through a very difficult transition time in our lives. They did it with patience and understanding and professionalism. They are quick to respond to any question or concern and always consider all the options and give it to you straight. Susan is definitely knowledgable in her field of expertise and it was easy to rely on her and comforting to know, as we live out-of-the-area, that she was aggressive in representing our needs. Her staff is courteous and friendly and quick to help answer any question you might have and they always followup with the proper paperwork and ensure everything is taken care of legally. We made an appointment with her. When she was 25 minutes late we called the office; they connected us. She said she'd left a message the day before that she had decided not to come or take on new clients. Cox was down the day she said she left a message so maybe she did call. But we were disappointed that she didn't follow through. Fortunately we were then able to find and schedule another agent.

Susan is a true professional but also a very caring person and is very experienced and understanding. She is clear and easy to work with and answered all of my questions and concerns. I cross shopped other Property rental companies/managers in Hampton roads and she exceeded my expectations and was the most honest and upfront of all. There are no hidden fees and pricing is good for the services provided. Other property managers make it seem like you get a lot for what you pay in fees but tend to have hidden fees in the fine print or all services stated are not all inclusive and cost extra. I have recommended 2 other co-workers to her as well and both are happy with having her as their property management team. Being in the Navy and having a short time frame to rent out a home can be very stressful. Susan made the process easy and took almost all of the stress and made it disappear. We had a tenant renting our home very quickly. In fact, our home did not even have the chance to have pictures taken for their listings, that's how quick it was rented. Susan's team has been great watching over our property and communicates well with us now being all the way in Los Angeles, CA. I rarely make the effort to review any services or products, not even this review does enough justice to compliment how satisfied I am with everything that RE/MAX Team Susan Jubilee has done for us. With out a doubt I highly recommend anyone looking for a property rental company to give her a call, you won't regret it, you might wonder why you even bothered wasting your time with other so called property managers like I did for a couple months.

I first met Susan when looking for a house for my husband and I to live in when we moved to Virginia Beach. Next she helped me buy a ''fixer' in Norfolk as an investment. She gave me wonderfully effective advice on being a landlord, and when I moved out of state helped me understand I was better off turning our residence into another investment rather than selling. Susan is savvy, reliable and best of all fun to work with. Now I'm moving back to the area and she is the first person I called to help me begin looking for a new residence. When you are finished buying or selling a house through Susan, you won't refer to her as your real estate agent - you'll refer to her as your friend who works in real estate.

We were referred to Susan Jubilee through Angie's List and she has been a God Sent. From our initial interview I was impressed with how thorough and professional she was Specifically, her team: - Gave us a thorough step by step check list to prepare our house for rental. Referred us to reliable contractors to finish up last minute repairs and propery touch ups. - Gave us advice on repairs, home warranties, and potential tax savings for our rental. - Her team did a thorough walk through of the house and took about 1,000 pictures to ensure we receive the house back in the same condition we provided to our tenants in. - Her team screened our prospective tenants and gave us advice for selecting the right one. - Susan provided a thorough contract to ensure our tenants are taken care of and our property would be protected from neglect. - Her team provided us monthly statements and periodic emails giving us updates about our property. My wife and I are planning to move back into our house later this year when we are reassigned to the area. Susan helped to take much of the stress out our move and the rental of our house. I highly recommend her for any of your property management needs, she is the best!

Susan Jubilee and her team have been our property manager since 2008. We only pay 10% of rental fee. We are a military family that moves around every 2-3 years. We are happy to say, every time something arises whether it be yearly maintenance to tenant leaving, Susan and her team keeps us abreast and takes care of our property as if it was theirs. One time the tenant we chose left our house in shambles. Boy were we unhappy; however, Susan and her team worked hard to get the house fixed up and ready to re-rent in a short period of time. Susan Jubilee and her team has been expertly managing my property since 2009. I hear from her regularly and my tenants have had great things to say about their experiences with her. She is great about working to find great quality but reasonably prices contractors when repairs or service is needed. She easily handled tenant change out. When a decision needs to be made, she already has a range of solutions for me to chose from. I highly recommend Susan and her team to manage anyone else's property!

While we were in the middle of selling a property in another state and purchasing one in our new area, we rented a property listed with Susan Jubilee, realtor, for approximately 18 mos. Although she wasn't the original property manager, things improved greatly after she, and the rest of the Jubilee Team, took over. I know it's probably rare for a renter to rate the managment service, but I thought it was important to hear from a renters experience and not from just the homeowner. We were extremely pleased with the level of professionalism and service that we received. She answered emails/phone calls promptly and was extremely timely in making repairs and coordinating with the landlord. She was also very helpful in referral services for some other items that we had asked for. I would highly recommend Susan and her team for anyone (especially military) looking to rent a property and want someone trustworthy that genuinely cares for the tennants and the properties that she manages.

I think the fact that the woman that I called first, she was very helpful and she went out to my house and basically I had this project manager and he claimed that he had done a bunch of things, he claimed that he paid for someone to clean the carpet, he claimed that he had someone clean the house and all these other things and I show up at the house and the carpets weren't clean and the house was just dirty, there was dog fur anyway, Susan, when I called her I wasn't in town, she went over to my house, wrote a documented list of what needed to be done knowing that I had another property manager. She called me and she told me everything. Not expecting me to even hire her, she just gave me a list of all these things that needed to be done. It really set me at ease because it was like I had a friend in town that I could call.

I contacted Susan back in Oct/Nov of 2013 and signed with her to manage my property. I do have to say, I contacted her about 3 to 4 months prior to putting my property on the market for rent and she was very up front with what needed to be done to ensure a flawless transition into a successful rental. Following her advice and doing everything she recommended to do! Her and her team had my property rented with being on the market for only 1 week. Susan and her team know her their stuff and you cannot go wrong with having them manage your property, my only advice is to comply with all recommendations she makes to ensure your experience is as easy and seamless as the outstanding service I have received. I First contacted Susan because I found her here on Angie's list. I was having problems with the property manager that I had been working with and at that point my house had been on the rental market for 2 months. Susan couldn't believe that my house had been empty that long and that very day went to my house and took pictures of the inside and outside of it. I really could go on and on about the whole experience but one thing stands out. She knows her stuff and helped to set me in the right direction. She verbally told me every thing she would change/ repair/ replace and helped me get out of the bad relationship with my property manager. She showed me what a good property manager should be doing. I started taking trips down to my house in VA (I live in MD) and fixed everything she had suggested. Originally I was going to have her as my property manager but I got impatient and ended up listing the house myself. She was very professional though, and honestly I would never have gotten the house rented had it not been for her suggestions. I wanted to make sure to write my experience because I feel like I owe her so much for helping me when I had no clue what to do. If things change in the future and I need a property manager she is the first person I am going to call because she is honest and professional.

I originally found Susan through Angie's List. She absolutely lived up to all previous reviews. I am active duty with no previous experience as a landlord and found the process terrifying. Based on reviews, I contacted Susan (two months prior to our move out date) and she immediately suggested we sit down and cover what the responsibilites of each party in the tenant/property manager/landlord relationship as well as a walk-through of the home. She arrived at exactly the appointed time with full body of documentation in hand. She began with a walk-through of the home, taking various notes and outlining positives and negatives regard the home condition and desirability to the renter's market. Upon completion of the walk-through, we sat down and had a full discussion regarding renting to include recommended repairs, rent, house preparation, legal (including state) requirements, fees, suggested tenant restrictions etc. She left no stone unturned (even correctly identified which noise zone we were in....despite being listed incorrectly in our home's listing page). For those items in our home that needed repairs (ie missing screens, professional cleaning, etc), she provided both information for the do-it-yourselfer as well as an alternative company if you wanted to have the work done for you. She collected no fees for this extremely detailed initial review. In the following month as I continued preparations, she remained in constant contact, providing feedback on repairs, suggesting items such as models of fire extinguishers, paint colors etc. I kept her informed of my schedule in regards to professional work being done and on at least two occasions, after consulting with us, adjusted contractor schedules to provide us with better service. Every contractor she suggested was top notch. They showed up on time, did outstanding work, and either met or beat their estimates. On turnover day, we again walked the entire house, noting every discrepancy, and outlining those items to be fixed and those with which we would "live with." The house went on the rental market the next day (a Tuesday), with a lease being signed the day after that (a Wednesday) for a bit more rent than we were hoping to get. Two months in, I am unable to state a single negative as to the way she has handled our home or my family. I would absolutely recommend her as a Property Manager, particularly to those delving into renting their home to another family for the first time. Do what she says, and it will be OK!
