Precision Garage Door

Precision rep Jeff was very straight-forward and did not try to "heavy-sell," but very clearly explained his inspection and pointed out what was going on overall with our garage door. The door itself, though over 15 years old, was a bit creaky but in good repair, but he pointed out the shaky condition of the tension spring, the primary mechanism. He was finished in less than 2 hours for the whole installation, including the new remote keypad, and even helped program it. Jeff explained the warranty, 24/7 live phone response, and policy for warranty claim (very quick). All in all a most satisfying experience - glad we have their wasrranty for the duration of our time in this house!

Garth, very professional, very courteous and done in about an hour. Said there was a package for $599 but since I spent the 100, it would only be 499. I could get this at a later date which would also replace my springs that were about a 1/4 difference in tension and give me a full service warranty. I passed but couldnt pass up this deal since my garage door definitely need maintenance.

I had purchased an Angie's List special offer for a portion of the services performed. There was more extensive work required. Precision was very happy to credit the amoutn paid for the special offer against the total work performed - without me having to ask. The service representative was timely, friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that e provided me with options to consider before asking me to make a final decision on the level of service I wanted. Yes, I will use this company in the future

I ordered the "Big Deal of the Day" for $89... he did such a nice job fixing one garage door, that I had him do the others, which he did at the same time (though each of those was more than $200...). Rob was awesome, very personable. Good at his job, and clearly enjoys it. My garage doors open and close the way they should now, and are much quieter.

Called Precision late Friday afternoon when I was unable to raise my garage door. They gave me a Saturday appointment from 10A-2P which was great. The technician Rob Shrieves arrived around 10:30A, took a look at the door, and knew immediately that I had a broken spring. My original door was installed when the house was built 8 years ago. He advised that the contractor grade spring was only guaranteed for 5 years, and recommended 2 different packages. I chose the higher priced package which included installing much better quality parts (rollers included) and a lifetime warranty. He explained each part of the installation, and showed me the defective parts as he removed them. He answered all of my questions and reviewed the necessary annual maintenance to keep everything working smoothly. He was very polite and professional and worked quickly to complete the job. He was obviously very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his work. The door works fine now and goes up and down more smoothly and quietly than before.

It was an Angie's List deal and I called Precision Door Service out and I was so impressed with their company and instead of spending just $2,900 with them I ended up spending something like $1,200. What they offered was a lifetime warranty that's transferable and I'm selling the house, so that was an important feature to me.

after power outage, I had released garage door, and it would not reconnect so could not use opener. He took some extra time to figure out how the original homeowner had rigged it (apparently, several parts had been installed upside down), and then showed me how to handle it next time I had to unlatch/reattach it. Also was able to provide an estimate for an upgrade with a keypad.

Brian wa who I delt with. When he arrived he told me that I didn't even need the rollers replaced which is what the deal was for. He ended up just doing a tune up for my garage door and just charged me 49.95 He was extremely honest with me about this and I really appreciated it. Brian was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommended their services.

Provider timely and professional. Technician gave clear and simple explanations for current condition, adjustments made and reset codes. I asked for estimate for replacement door and quote was competitive. I would recommend them and would definitely call them if future services needed.

The service rep arrived on schedule and performed task flawlessly. He also educated me on the workings of my door, motor, spring etc and what to look for if I started havining any issues. He also did not try to sell me something that was unnecessary. Very professional.

They advised the big deal would not apply to my door and offered recommendations on how to fix the door. I was appreciative of their recommendations, as they could have tried to sell me something I didn't need.

He arrived on time and performed the work that was outlined in the service request. At the time of our call, the door would not come down without disengaging the automatic latch and manually pulling it down. The technician discovered that the sensors at the bottom of the door were out of alignment and that the pully chains needed to be adjusted. He also lubricated the pully system and offered instructions on how to do that myself. He offered a more detailed service that was much more expensive as a more permanent solution, but, due to a lack of funds I had to decline. He was very knowledgable about servicing and maintaining the door and was free with the information. I am sorry that I don't remember his name, but, he was a very good representative for his company.

When I called the company to schedule the work I was immediately scheduled. The technician came when expected and called before he arrived. In the ancient past I had once replaced rollers on a garage door. It took me all day and was very difficult. I found out that this is a job for profesionals with specialized tools. Ron finished the work in about an hour and I am delighted with the result. Finally a quiet door.

Arrived on time, door was completed in about 2 hours and everything works fabulous. The door is 10 times quieter and the new setup seems much safer and secure.

Both represenatives arrived on time, polite , courteous, all debris removed and a walkthru of system.

My technician Rob, arrived on time and explained in detail what he was going to do to make my garage door quieter and more efficient. he got to work and did the job in 15 minutes. He left me a summary of things that he noticed, but did not need my attention. I greatly appreciated the fact that he did not put the "pressure" on to purchase or fix anything!ng

Everything was handled professionally and all that was promised did happen!
