Precision Garage Door

Company was very responsive to minor problem and returned the next day to correct making me 100% satisfied.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were excellent. They were really professional and came on time. We didn't have much to complain about. They were courteous and polite. They explained things in a professional way. They were efficient and they knew what they were doing. They also do windows and doors. One of their salesmen came out and gave me a quote on that.

They worked out fine. I did have to call them back because I needed them to fix one thing. There was an issue with one of the garage doors and he replaced some parts, but there was still an issue with one of the garage doors and someone had to come out and fix it. I had to pay much more than the big deal purchase. The $89 was deducted from the cost. They were quick and efficient both times. It was working intermittently, some wires were left exposed to elements, and that is why it was happening. They cut some wires, connected them, and made sure that they were not exposed. I was okay with how prompt and quick they were. They communicated well and let me know exactly when they were going to be here. I think the work was excellent except for the one issue. I would definately use them again in the future. I am very satisfied with what they did and how they did it.

They were really great! They came out on a Saturday, so they have weekend appointments available. They were on time and very professional, and they gave me an on-the-spot estimate for a complete door estimate so that we could replace our door in the future. What I like about them is they are professional and reliable, and they have weekend service.

We had them come out for the service that was agreed upon. They recommended some other work that we just got an estimate for and have not acted on. It kind of served the purpose we were hoping to diagnose the problem we were having which we did do, and it ended being sort of something that the sun was glaring on the sensor causing the problem. We did not get a good fix out of it. It was basically a bandage where we just set up a little piece of wood to block the sun from inside the sensor. It was okay. They were cordial and everything else. They did use the opportunity to estimate for additional work. It was well worth the $19.

Eveything went well they were on time and prompt about geting things done.

Jeff was very prompt and was done very quickly. The door is much quieter and operates like new. He recommended additional work which we opted not to do at this time but may have done in the future.

The tuneup was quick. Unfortunately the became unattached shortly after the service. He came back out and determined the problem was faulty installation by the installer (Sears) and reattached it correctly without an extra charge.

garage door opener broke again two months after he fixed it

It was OK. he did what he was supposed to do, but then wanted me to do a great deal more work, even though the doors are working well. He said the springs were failing, but the openers work fine. I decided to wait until there is a problem with at least one of the doors. I will also get other estimates if there is a problem, as the quoted costs for the repairs seemed high to me.

Serviceman was prompt and did the job quickly.

Took advantage of the Angie's list Big Deal promotion via the website. The company (Precision Door Service) called that day and an appointment was set for three days later. On the day of service, Stephen called to let us know he would be about 15 minutes late as he was stuck in traffic. He arrived as promised and quickly advised me what work he would do on the door and the improvement I would observe once completed. The reconditioning service included replacing my old metal garage door rollers with all new nylon ball bearing rollers, inspect and service/adjust the tracks/rails, set opener limits and force settings, adjust chain or belt tension, check the springs, tighten and replace missing or loose bolts/nuts, lubricate door and opener. Reportedly, this service would normally cost $255.

See above -- very professional, prompt, provided full explanation of everything that was done backed up by paperwork, and would use Precision Door again if needed and have already recommended them to everyone I know. Outstanding !

It was good. He was on time. He was courteous. He gave good information. After I did that deal, I saw one exactly the same for like $29 or something like that. So I'm like, "gosh, I really got jipped on that one."

Precision Door Service of Hampton Roads were fine. They contacted me within hours after buying the Big Deal and were here about a week after I purchased it.

I called Precision on 6/21/13 around 8:30 PM. I told them my garage door was broke and I could not open it and it wasn't an emergency and I could wait till Saturday. They told me the technician would come between 1:00 and 3:00 PM and he would call when on way. The technician Rob called around 10:15 on Saturday morning and said he was on the way and I was glad he could come early. When Rob came he was very professional and knew exactly what he was doing. He impressed me alot. I am in the home service business and I know how hard it is to get great people and Rob is one of them in every way. He made my experience smooth and simple and explained everything in detail. I am GLAD I called Precision Door Service and would HIGHLY recommend them for a true professional job.
