It went very smoothly and they were able to get out right away. There's a keypad on the outside of the garage door and when they changed a broken sensor and reprogrammed it left the keypad out of the reprogramming so now it doesn't work.

I'm highly pleased with the service. I'm disappointed that after purchasing the Special Deal I didn't not get contacted until I reached out to the company two weeks after my purchase. At first I was willing to give them a break because I ordered over the holiday but it turns the company never received the auto notification of my purchase. I'm also disappointed that I purchased this deal for $278 with the small print that installation was separate. I'll admit that I didn't read the deal that closely so I did get fair warning in the small print. The company immediately added $100 to the purchase price for the labor which means my Angie's List deal of $278 was actually $378. I believe that 's false advertising. If I'd known it was really going to cost $378 I would have chosen one of the other deals.

The automatic garage door opener in the garage in our new home barely functioned in January 2010, when we moved in. After just about two years, it finally gave out entirely, and we had to have it replaced. We got a couple of quotes; Precision Door was not the cheapest at $1400, but they were competative, they seemed particularly responsive, and some neighbors in our area had used them successfully, so we went with them. The installation went extremely well - on time, good work, very professional. We had a minor problem with the system a few weeks later - a call got an immediate, same-day response, which fixed the problem at no charge. Just over two years later (we are new Angie's List members), we were having problem with the sensor at the bottom of the door. I had knocked it loose, and could never get it re-centered quite properly, as the masonry was not holding the bracket. In addition, the keypad on the front of the door had stopped working. We called Precision, and the technician came out at reinstalled the sensors and also re-keyed the dood pad (and re-checked all the automatic openers) - he was here for about an hour. I was expecting their standard $65 service call fee, but he said that since we were previous customesr, it was only $39.95. Everything is now working perfectly. As with many companies, I suspect that the individual you get is often just as important as the company; in our case, the gent who has come out each time (both original installation and repairs) is a guy named Brian Gambale. He is absolutely outstanding - knowledgable, friendly, prompt, and professional - I can't say enough good things about the service he has provided.

Answered several questions in detail and even performed a couple of services outside of the original scope of work. I was also provided an estimate for replacement of both doors and 1 opener. Jeff was my technician and he was courteous and professional but also personable. I couldn't be more pleased and it was money well spent. Although the estimate for new doors was a bit pricey, I will still consider using Precision again based on this experience.

I will keep their name on file and call on them for any future needs.

Precision Door did an outstanding job from making the appointment, to calling prior to showing up and Steve was an outstanding Professional that fixed ALL of issues and answered all our questions. As my daughter said the garage door works better now then when it was new!!!! Steve realigned the safety devices so the door closed properly. He replace all the rollers lubricated the hinges and chain drive He fixed the light which hadn't worked Fixed one of the remotes And install a new keypad Did his work, used his own tools and ladder, and cleaned up after himself. He was patient and explained every step.

Service representative put in a lot of time (an hour and one-half) to repair the door that would not go up. He fixed it and charged a very reasonable amount -- $35.

Price seemed excessive but work was needed immediately.

It couldn't have gone any better than it did. Before I had the service performed, I had disconnected my garage door from the automatic opener because it wouldn't perform even close to the way it should. And even when it was disconnected, I still had problems opening the garage door by hand. Now, everything works as if it were brand new. I would hire this company again in a New York second.

They found the doors installed incorrectly and had to replace all the hanging parts and rehang the door. The work was good, the workmen communicated well, and they were very polite. The door is guaranteed for life now. I just wasn't expecting to put out almost 600.00 minus the cost of the cash price of the coupon deal that day. The second door will be waiting a long time.

He didn't pressure us to decide and told Us to call if we decided to go forward. The next day we acted and set an install date for One week later. I had purchased an Angie's List Big Deal $100 "Quiet and Reconditioning" package to replace my door's rollers, adjust the chain and track, and check the spring tension. When I called to schedule for them to come out they were immediately available the next day, but I scheduled for the following Monday instead. Jeff came out ahead of schedule and was very polite. After inspecting my garage door he recommended replacing the old springs we had (house is 18 years old) with a torsion bar and cable system. He performed the "Quiet and Reconditioning" package as well as the "Good" package for the price of the "Good" Package, a total of $549 plus tax. My garage door works much smoother now as it had periodically gotten stuck before. It is a little quieter but the technician said the noise was mostly from my Craftsman garage door opener itself, which I agree. All-in-all I am very happy with the service performed.

The company was very quick to send someone out to take a look at my broken door. After I called someone was at my house within a couple of hours. They were very honest about the options of fixing or replacing the door and the pros and cons of both. I appreciate that they are available 24 hours a day for emergencies (though I hope I don't need it). The prices were reasonable and the service was great.

They are excellent. They came on time. They are professional. I would recommend them. I would use them again in the future.
