Description of Work: Gutter cleaning.

Description of Work: I had called a different company (Paul's Pressuring Washing) and was given this company because I needed a repair on one of the deck stairs and staining my modest-sized deck. Paul Carmody gave me an estimate for the deck repair, pressure washing and staining, and then offered a good price to add pressure washing my one-story house. I had never had that done so I accepted. He was courteous and had many years of experience. They were able to come out the next day. Paul and one other man arrived. I was concerned when it took them several hours to repair the stair. It was afternoon before they started the pressure-washing. Before the deck was fully dried, Paul started spray-staining it. The other man was pressure-washing the house as Paul was staining the deck. They didn't finish until late afternoon. Afterwards I found the bleach mixture from the pressure-washing had left milky-colored blotches on the windows and anything close to the house. Also where the spray hit dirt, there were soil splatters on planters close to the house. The stain for the deck looks very heavy, more like paint than stain, and the grain of the wood is only apparent where the stain was more thinly applied. The stain was sprayed heavier in the center area in sweeps, making it look uneven. Where leaves had stuck in the paint, I gently scraped them out and only a few places are noticeable. I guess it will even out when it weathers. The last time I had the deck done, the fellow had a much lighter hand with the pressure-washing and staining, and I don't remember so much bleach being used. I am just hoping my plants do not suffer from the bleach next spring. Overall I was disappointed with the outcome which seemed heavy-handed. I would not use them again. |

Description of Work: I hired the company to pressure wash the house. The service went great. One technician came out and completed the job in a couple hours. He was punctual and did a good job. The house looked brand new afterwards. I had no problem scheduling the service.
