Description of Work: Poor Folks Tree Service removed a large oak tree growing up against my house in very tight quarters. They did a great job not damaging a nearby fence and covered walkway. Clean up was done well. Price paid was what was quoted. I have no reservations recommending them.

Description of Work: Removed a 40 foot pine tree from my yard and ground stump. Sent a crew of three to remove tree and do the clean up. Also asked them to remove a 20 foot branch from another tree for an additional cost. Did a super job! Very satisfied with service!

+ -1 moreWe have used Poor Folks Tree Service several times in the past few years. Mr. Carroll and his associates have been consistently excellent. They are always prompt for both estimates and to perform the work. The crew have always been polite cheerful and efficient. I will certainly recommend them to anyone needing a tree service.
Description of Work: The latest job we had them do was the removal of two large trees on the North side of our home. They were on time and completed the job in under three hours, including stump grinding and thorough cleanup.

+ -1 moreOverall these guys were outstanding. Their price was competitive and they had the correct heavy equipment to perform the job efficiently. Extremely polite and professional. The only thing I can add is it was somewhat difficult to lock in a date (they were backed up due to rain days), however, after we settled on a date and time they showed up on time and did a terrific job.
Description of Work: removed one medium sized tree and ground stump and trimmed large branches from a neighbors tree.

+ -1 moreI filled a report with the city about my dissatisfaction with their service. They replied to the city - I have no comment on what they told the city. Check with the appropriate agency in Virginia Beach. I would never use them again nor would I ever recommend them to anyone. I don't intend to discuss this further.
Description of Work: Basically it was pruning of overgrown shrubs. I am not sure of the date and don't want to waste any more of my time on this company. It could have been 2008?

+ -1 moreA crew of 6 workers showed up and worked for about 5-6 hours. All were very experienced and professional. They were all very well equipped. They actually did more than expected and left the property clean.
Description of Work: Removed a dead tree. Removed dead limbs from 20 tall pines. Ground 2 stumps.

+ -1 moreThis was the second time I have used them and they didn t mess around. They got right to work and were fast. They cleaned up the mess real good and even gave some of the wood to my neighbor. This was an excellent company to use, they were honest people.
Description of Work: They took out 10 gumball trees in my back yard and grounded the stumps.
