Description of Work: Every time I have an issue with my Pc I call Mike. He is responsive, takes care of the problem promptly and if he can't, lets me know what is going on and when he will be finished. He picks up and delivers. Wonderful.

Description of Work: I had a problem with installing my security software. Mike came and installed it with no problem and generally checked my computer for any other issues. I have called him before this and will call him in the future. He explains everything and makes sure I am satisfied before he leaves. Very happy with Mike's service.

Description of Work: My PC was acting like it had a virus, but it didn't. Could not access Microsoft Office products and the screens were chopped up. Mike arrived on time and went right to work. Uninstalled and reinstalled Office products, did some cleanup. Although not part of the deal he also installed several programs - classic shell, a registry repair, etc. He was pleasant and knew what he was doing.

+ -1 moreThanks to Mike at EZ-PC Service for his prompt, excellent and professional service, my mother was up and running again in a minimal amount of time. I highly recommend him to anyone experiencing computer problems.
Description of Work: My mother's desktop computer was running extremely slow with out of date security software. I was thinking she would have to purchase a new PC, but Mike took the desktop one evening and returned it the next day! It was running much faster, the old security software was removed (which was quite difficult) and replaced with new anti virus software that maintained itself. He also cleaned up all old, unused programs, cleaned the registry, and added Picasa (software for organizing and editing digital photos). When he brought it back, he set it up and tested all components. He even took the time to demo the general workings of the PC to my mother. She is thrilled to have a faster, working PC again. Great Job!

+ -1 moreOverall, the whole job went well. Mike was professional and courteous. Translated all the "geek speak" to layman's terms for my wife and me. Prompt in returning initial call and keeping appointments. Impressed with his tenacity to find root of problem!
Description of Work: Two home computers were running erratically and had problems running programs. Mike attempted repairs but was unable to solve problem spending a good bit of time on site. Finally had to take one PC tower to his shop at home where he was able to run further diagnostics and fix the problem. Upon return, the second PC was fixed of it's problems. Everything is working great!

+ -1 moreWe had an appt for 5:30 pm and he was right on time. He took his shoes off immediately at the front door without being asked, so I was immediately impressed. I had a router issue with the wireless hookup for my laptop. Mike made MULTIPLE trips upstairs to the main computer, downstairs to the laptop and out into the garage where the router lives. Boy did he get a workout that day. he had everything up and running in 45 min! AND he installed CC Cleanup on the two computers. I have used a mobile repair service from one of the big box stores before. VERY EXPENSIVE and they charge you for every second. NEVER AGAIN. I really liked that Mike is a one man operation, small business, no subs. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MIKE and plan to call him again, probably at least quarterly to come for general computer tune-up/clean up!
Description of Work: I emailed Mike on a Tues, and he was available on Wed to come to the house. If that day/time wasn't going to work he was available that Saturday. Excellent turn around time, even if I had to have waited until Saturday

Worked with my issues and didn't rush me when I asked him to look at another pc/printer. Seemed knowledgable, was thorough and pleasant but efficient.work was done in VA Beach, he is located in Va Beach.
Description of Work: Ports on my laptop broke, he came to backup my PC from my harddrive since I was unable to connect a port and helped me determine my options for my laptop. He even took the time to follow up on possible fixes even though it is out of his scope and emailed me later that day with useful information. He also helped with printer issues.I would use Mike again.

+ -1 moreThe services that stood out to me were:1. Answering the phone promptly and talking directly to some one....not a computer generated menu. 2. Fast service. They were there the next day. He could have come the day I called but I was not available. 3. Courteous and professional....nothing else needs to be said. 4. Great price!!
Description of Work: My laptop ended up with a virus. I was not able to fix the problem using the tools that was available via my internet provider. I contacted EZ-PC and lo and behold a human answered. No press this or that. I talked with Mike and explained my problem. We set up an appointment for the next afternoon. Mike arrived at the designated time. He was courteous and very professional. He spent about 20 minutes reviewing my laptop. He was able to locate the virus, isolate it and then remove it. My laptop which was rendered useless prior to his arrival was now back up and running and performing better than it had before.

I don't understand computer talk well, and he patiently explained. He installed a program that removes Malware to lessen the likelihood of another incident such as this. It felt like he saved my life...all of my business information and current work seemed at risk. I was amazed at his reasonable prices.
Description of Work: My computer suddenly was giving off dread red messages that I had a trojan horse and i panicked, as it seemed to be eating up everything in sight, and my virus protector was not effective. Mike Mercer arrived within an hour after I called him, took the computer overnight for removal and repairs and delivered it early the next day. He had previously resolved computer issues for me either on site, or remotely on at least six occasions.
