Description of Work: Had a leaking toilet in the master bathroom. Took the $175.00 for two hours of work. Frank arrived on time on the scheduled day. Noticed we leave our shoes at the door and took his off with being asked. Work was done quickly then he cleaned the area around the toilet before putting everything back together. Last he "tuned up the toilet". No more leak and the toilet works fine. We plan to have him back to do some additional work for us. A very positive experience from start to finish.

Dale is the one I will call from now on.

Description of Work: Full plumbing house inspection, fixed faucet leaks, fixed toilet runs, fixed short toilet flushes, flushed both Hot Water Heaters and Frank got us hot water again! We had one plumber over that said our Circulator Pump needs to be replaced, and another one that said we need two new Hot Water heaters. Frank said both hot water heaters (even though 8 years old were just fine, and the circulator pump worked great! Frank adjusted the master bedroom shower nozzles, fine tuned both hot water heaters and my wife can take baths again, and there is nothing like a hot shower. Waited several days for contact with the contractor. finally sent email and arranged day of visit. he had problems so rescheduled. another problem so I just canceled job as non-responsive. I had a small leak under my house and had been waiting 2 weeks at the point. Unacceptable. i think he had encounted some real problems but failed to get with me until I tracked him down. | |These contractors (not just this one) do not get the money we pay for the Deal since that fee goes to Angie's. The contractor only makes money if he can pick up more work while on site. it is a chance they take and it is usually a good way to reach customers. And usually good for the customer. However, when I made it clear upfront that I only wanted the work listed for the $175 fee, not realizing that he got none of that, I suppose he lost any real interest. This particular contractor didn't tell me this, but another contractor told me that is how it worked at least for his job he did for me. They did pick up about $1700 from me for additional work, which was done well. However, you need to understand upfront this is how it works, at least according to one contractor. The workman did not even know how much I had paid upfront, but just that he was there to do X amount of work and let me know if he found anything else or if I wanted to give him more work that I already knew about. Watch out for their proposal cost to do new work. | |Since no work was done, Angie did eventually refund my $175, but only after I emailed them when I had not gotten my refund for about 45 days. They didn't understand what had happened but did get the refund back to my credit card in another 4-5 days. Just be sure to keep tabs and check your credit card to be sure you get your refund.

Description of Work: Replaced hose bib and line to the bib. Technician was able to replace components and make needed adjustments to suit as-built conditions.
