Installed tankless water heater connected to natural gas line. Following installation, we smelled gas on several occasions. At first, he said that was just residual from the install. Came back once and said that he didn't smell gas, he smelled something else. I asked him to use his gas sniffer, but his was not working and that he would have to order a battery for it. (Who works on gas lines without a gas sniffer?). Frank was adamant that the plumbing was fine and that the problem might be with the water heater itself. Called Rinnai and they said the water heater is sealed and that the only possibility for a leak is in the connection to the plumbing. Called Frank back but didn't hear from him for a while, so I bought a natural gas alarm and it went off. Called Frank back. He came with a new sniffer, and found the leak in a joint in the wall that was not tightened enough. Had to cut the wall out to get to it. He repaired it but the whole process took a few months, left us with a potentially dangerous situation, and delayed install of cabinets under the heater. Won't use Elite Plumbing again.

Frank came out for a repair on a water heater with a gas smell. He repaired a leak from a pipe on the water heater(via the sellers of the house). Me being the buyer came in for the pre-purchase walk through and still smelt something odd in the garage by the water heater. So we called(his phone went directly to voicemail) and the sellers ended up getting in touch with him to come back out and recheck for a smell. We (the buyers) were told he would come in the evening. So when called the morning of the scheduled repair he was quite rude, then decided right now was the only time he could to look at it.(this was 9a.m. not the evening and I was not home) So he showed up spent 10 minutes on a quick leak check then said "what you're smelling is carbon monoxide not gas". I could have sworn that carbon monoxide was odorless. On top of that you would have thought he would have checked for carbon monoxide after his first repair of the leaking pipe. I was not home to deal with him(which is why I requested evening) so when I got home at 1pm I called him to verify the story my wife told me. On the phone he was very rude, said the water heater is old and needs to go(why was this not the original diagnosis?). So I asked him what am I smelling if carbon monoxide is odorless and he laughed then said I can get a second opinion, he's already been to my house 3 times.(it had only been 2) He said he's tired of getting calls about this house, but it was my first time speaking to him, however the sellers and my realtor had been contacting him. All in all he was extremely unprofessional and lacks people skills. I would NOT recommend his services to anyone.

The owner came out to check for a water leak, went under my house and didn't find anything. He didn't charge me for a service call, which was very kind of him. He was prompt and professional, took a lot of time to troubleshoot my issue, which turned out to be ground water instead of a leak.

Called Frank yesterday & of course he fit me on today. He was right on time as usual! It took Frank only about 30 minutes to remove faulty disposal and replace it with new! Happy customer! Thank you!

I called Frank with every intent of having him come out for a service call. When I explained the issue, he was intimately familiar with the problem and recommended that I save the cost of the service call by doing a few simple steps on my own. I'm amazed and thankful that he had the integrity to pass on the potential money from a service call! Since my problem was intermittent, it will be a little while before I know if Frank's tips worked. However, if I need plumbing services in the future, I'll be calling Elite Plumbing. Thanks again!

I went into my garage for the first time in about three weeks to discover decent amount of water on the floor. Since my water heater was 30 years old (it was here when I moved in), I figured it was time to have it replaced. I got some estimates and read all the reviews and decided, mainly because of Angie's List, to hire Elite. I sent Frank an email asking for an estimate. He replied pretty quickly, indicating it would be about $800 (this was about on par with 5-6 other estimates I received). We settled on a date and time for the job to be done. He called to tell me that his partner, Dale, would be doing the job. I didn't have a problem with that, and so on the scheduled date, Dale showed up at the agreed time. He finished in about an hour and 45 minutes and from what I can tell, did a fine job. So far, so good. My only nitpick -- and it's a very small one -- would be that I saw that Elite offers Angie's List members a 15% discount if they mention the ad/coupon. When he gave me the bill, which was $816 -- only $16 more than the estimate -- I told him about the discount. He said it already had been applied. I guess I thought I'd be able to get 15% off the $816. Again, it was not a big deal. If I find I need to hire a plumber again, I would not hesitate to contact Frank and/or Dale.

Woke up in morning to no gas and a cold shower. I immediately called Frank and he told me he would fit me in. In the meantime, I called the gas company since they had left a cryptic note for me the previous day. Apparently, the gas company had come by and done some work on the meter, for which they had to turn the gas off and they needed access to interior to turn the gas back on. I called Frank back and let him know. The gas company did come out and fix the issue. Frank is always so prompt and considerate. As you can tell, he is the first one I call whenever I have any plumbing concerns, and I am thankful he is always there and super responsive.

Frank showed up on time and began working replacing the kitchen sink faucet and sprayer. While he was doing that, he notice the dishwasher hose going into the garbage disposal was leaking a bit. Since it was a braided line, all that was needed was to tighten it up. While under the sink, he inspected the garbage disposal and sink drain connections. Stated everything was fine. No labor charge for tightening the dishwasher hose. I have referred him to my neighbor concerning a tankless hot water heater and he had one installed with a recirculating valve. Neighbor is very pleased with this new hot water heater. My son will be calling him soon for the same.

This was a $99 big deal purchase. It was just satisfactory, I guess -- nothing fantastic. They were supposed to come back and take care of something and didn't do it. They would not be my first choice again. I think it took about three or four days for them to come out trying to set the appointment up. They could have had a little better communication and a little better follow up contact. I would look for other options first before using them again in the future.

From the quoting process to the end of the installation we couldn't be happier. Frank was knowledgeable, professional, he showed up when he said he would (always a pet peeve of mine) cleaned up and explained how the system worked as well as answering any of my additional questions. Have had some bad experiences with contractors but this was an overall A+++ experience. Would highly recommend Frank and this company!!

We strongly recommend Elite Plumbing, Frank was at our house within 15 minutes, and was able to restart our water heater in no time, we had had huge winds the night before and for some reason the flame was blown off. So nice to have such great service. Thank you again, Brigitte and Rob Campbell

Frank was very professional and did a wonderful job. I would definitely use him again. The new valves he installed were much better than the original valves.

I called Frank Thursday evening when I couldn't light the water heater pilot. He made the service call first thing Friday morning. He lit the pilot and showed me what to do if it goes out in the future. I will call Elite Plumbing if we need a plumber in the future.

Frank was quick with assessing what was wrong, he also noted the age of the water heater and told us what to watch for, it having hit the ten year mark. And gave us a quote for a replacement if and when the time comes to repair. Great guy timely and professional.

He examined the unit, provided the required recommendation for repairs. A new unit was installed in under 2 hours!!! That is correct, YES, under two hours, a new unit, HOT WATER!!! I was impressed by the fact he came out on Christmas Eve. He was honest that there wasn't much he could do that day, but he worked us in first thing Monday for a replacement tankless water heater. His work was thorough and everything worked as expected when he was done. I would definitely recommend him for all your plumbing needs.

Ended up not being able to handle unclogging a toilet.

Having received excellent service from Frank when I took advantage of an Angie's List special offer for a water heater flush, I called him again when a tenant of mine called to report a clogged toilet. Frank was extremely responsive, texting me back very quickly and we were able to promptly schedule an appointment time that worked for both of us. Frank showed up exactly at the agreed upon time and took care of the problem. I would not hesitate to recommend Elite Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs! I will certainly use him again for any plumbing related/water heater repair or maintenance issues.

Frank did a great job installing my new tankless water heater after my old tank heater died (and began leaking). He advised me on the different heater options, worked quickly and cleaned up after himself when he was done. I will definitely use him again for my plumbing needs.

We contracted Mr. Mills to remodel two bathrooms. The people he brought in for the tile, paint, demolition were outstanding; courteous, and real professionals. Mr Mills did all the plumbing. The contractors cleaned after themselves and left everything in order. No splatter no mess. Prior to the project we went with Mr. Mills to the tile store and chose the type of tile and fixtures we wanted. We are very happy with the finish product and we would recommend him to anyone. We have contracted Mr. Mills in the past for all type of plumbing issues and replacement of our water heater. Always timely, very profesional. We trust him 100% to do a great job when we call him.

Frank stated his availability up front. He was on time, and did an excellent job doing my drain under my kitchen sink. He is extremely friendly. We had an extremely minor leak after he was done, and he came back right away to resolve it. I would highly recommend him!!! His work looks great, and he was excellent to deal with.

Tank type water heaters in the attic is a bad idea. Two neighbors have had leaks with tank type water heaters. Tankless water heaters are more energy efficient, smaller, have a longer warranty and can be controlled remotely ! Old metal vent had to be removed necessitating roof work, i.e. Elite Plumbing called a roofer to replace a small portion of the roof, install a few shingles and install the new thermoplastic vent. Yes, tankless water heaters so efficient they emit little heat. Also had a recirculaltion valve installed to get hot water downstairs at the sink versus wasting gallons of water until the water got hot. (the valve is included with the tankless water heater). Also installed a FloodStop device which will turn off the water when water is detected in the drip pan. This is both 115vac and battery backup. Drip pan is a good idea because the unit will have to be serviced: descaling, check filter, check unit, etc. Pan included in price. Price included city permits and inspection. Elite's owner, Frank, is a dependable hard worker. Did what he said he would do, when he said he would and for an agreed to price. Hire this fellow.
