I was very pleased with the price and with the way he was going to do the work, therefore we scheduled a day for him to come. He was here the day he said he would, did a wonderful job, finished his work fast and even closed the wall access panel ! I had Tony and son come do the job, but I had to cancel because the price was very high and he said the job could only be done from my leaving room ceiling and then I would have to call a contractor to put my ceiling back. I called Elite Plumbing for a second opinion and thank God I did, as he was able to do the job from the wall access panel with no complaint and even closed the panel after he was done. Because of his experience he knew exactly how to do the job right the first time. I definitely recommend Elite Plumbing and will be using them without hesitation in the future.
Description of Work: Mr. Frank from Elite Plumbing replaced a bad pipe that was leaking into my leaving room ceiling from my bathroom upstairs. He did the work from the bathroom wall access panel.

Description of Work: I contacted the company on Tuesday, 11/20/12 for repair of a leaky toilet. I left a message that I had turned the water off so the leak was controlled and that I would like for someone to call me back to set up an appointment for the following Monday as it was not urgent. I felt that all of the excellent reviews were a good indication that a call would be forthcoming before Monday. There was no call and I waited until the close of business on Monday to hear from them. I decided that either they hadn't listened to their messages or deemed my request for service a very low priority...either of those indicated to me that there might be performance issues and I decided to call another plumber on Angie's list.

 + -1 moreI had to call Elite plumbing to set up an appointment for the Angies list deal that we purchased. Mr. Franklin Mills answered the phone and I explained my reason for calling. He asked was this an Angies list deal, I said yes. He asked what the problem was and I explained, gave him my address and he stated that he would call me back. He did called me back a day later, and came to our home for plumbing repair. When he arrived, he was in and out within 30 minutes. He did nothing but take pictures of a leaking toilet and stated that he couldn't do anything until tile has been removed in our bathroom. He took pictures of the area with his cell phone(unprofessional) and then emailed them to us. The pictures were very blurry so we could not see what he described to us. I feel that if we paid Elite plumbing $137 for 2 hours of plumbing and he was gone within 30 minutes we should either get a refund for the difference or he owes us another hour and a half!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

 + -1 moreOver the weekend, my husband and I tried to repair a leaking toilet and resulted only in tearing the toilet apart without the ability to fix the leak. While it was laying in parts on the bathroom floor we got on Angie's list and found the $99 coupon special from Elite Plumbing. Since they had such good reviews, we called them first thing on Monday morning. Given that it was Thanksgiving week, we were resigned to the idea that we probably wouldn't be able to get the toilet fixed until next week. To our surprise and delight, when my husband called to arrange the appointment, not only did he get the owner on the first call, but they came out to the house THAT DAY!! By dinner time Monday night we had a working toilet and the bathroom was totally cleaned up. My husband said that the guys who showed up were prompt, thorough, professional and got things back in order in no time flat!!. We were so impressed that we got such great service so fast on a holiday week that we have put Elite Plumbing at the top of our list for any plumbing services that we will need in the future!

 + -1 moreI found out on Monday that my custom ordered counter tops were arriving earlier than expected and could be installed on Wednesday. This was fantastic news. The countertop installer could put in the sinks but could not connect the plumbing. I needed to secure a plumber fast. I called the home improvement store that was installing the cabinets to see if they could arrange a plumber which they could, but at a pretty steep price point. I was certain I could find someone on Angie's List to do the job at a better rate. I was right. I checked for "A" rated companies with lots of reviews and found Elite Plumbing. Elite Plumbing returned my call within minutes of leaving the message. Frank agreed to do the plumbing on two sinks for $404, an Angie's list customer special rate and more than $150 less than the home improvement store's plumber rate. Frank and his associate Dale were delayed due to another plumbing emergency but called to let me know they would be at my house about an hour late. I really appreciated the courtesy call. Good communication is key. They arrived and did a fine job! My sinks look great and no issues. They cleaned up well after themselves. Dale even hauled off the sink boxes for me, something they didn't have to do. Good plumbers and very pleasant folks to have in our home. I will definitely call on them again.

 + -1 moreHe apologized and said he would get back with me again. Since I have chosen to write this review, it is obvious that no one from Elite plumbing ever contacted me back. I originally had high hopes for this company and was willing to give them a chance. Politeness goes along way in my book, but after two weeks and numerous requests, I now question the sincerity of the so called politeness. And I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone (especially if you have a leak or clogged pipe as they obviously can't fix those, yet don't bother to say that prior to coming out.) I could have avoided the whole hassle if they had just been clear with me from the get go and responded promptly. And I wouldn't have had to wait 10 days before having a great plumber who DID take care of the problem (and was just as shocked as I when I told him that Elite said that they don't snake lines.) Buyer beware!!! I see they are offering the coupon again....unless you are having cosmetic work done, don't waste your time or money as it will be very disappointing when you can't have the actual plumbing work done that you need.
Description of Work: I had noticed Elite plumbing a few months ago when I saw The Big Deal offering 2 hours of plumbing services for $99 and had called to inquire regarding changing a faucet in the kitchen and fixing the one in my shower. I was told I could actually get a better deal if I dealt with them directly rather than the coupon so I held off. I asked about the things I wanted done and thought the man responding was pleasant and knowledgeable and appreciated that he seemed to be trying to save me money. About a month later I had a sudden leak in my kitchen wall due to a pipe back up from my washer in the laundry room that shares the same wall and pipes as the kitchen sink. It created a huge flood in both rooms, overflowed the sink and into all my cabinets. I had to empty everything out to even be able to see the problem and get it cleaned up. I called Elite and told them of the problem and said I would check with my insurance as how to proceed. (this was a Wednesday) They said to get back with them when I knew what I wanted to do (and told me that 430pm starts after hours prices) . Talked to insurance and left a message for Elite and then I proceeded to clean up and empty out everything and commence with drying everything out and NOT using any more water on that side of the house. The leak seemed to be contained so when still no call back by Friday afternoon, I waited til Monday to call again so as to not pay emergency or weekend rates. They said they could come look at it on Tuesday and tell me what i needed (I was not sure what the problem was at this point but sure I at least needed to snake the line for blockage.) They didn't give me a time frame and just showed up at a random time (not preset and no prior call so I'm glad I was home) Then they came in and talked to me for 5 minutes and said "Oh, we don't snake lines. We don't have equipment for that."......WHAT??? I thought that was the main problem plumbers run in to. Also I specifically said (the week BEFORE) that one of the things that I needed done was to snake the line as I"m sure the pipe was clogged, but wanted to make sure it wasn't also leaking inside the wall. In addition, I asked about the other issues as originally requested (the two faucet problems) and they said they could give me a quote for that, and that they would contact me back right away with the name of a plumber who COULD snake the lines. Three days later and I never received the call....I found someone else through a friend which took 2 days to schedule, yet in the mean time called them back twice to find out about the referral so I could have an estimate from more than one plumber and hopefully find someone available sooner as it was now over a week since the flood. They said OK, they would get right back to me. STILL no response. I had it fixed but before leaving a negative comment, I called back once again a week after the repairs (2 weeks after the flood) and was told due to family circumstances they hadn't been able to get back with me, but would do so right away....I said I was sorry and I hope all was well and just wanted an estimate and that on 4 occasions in 2 weeks time I was told one would be given to me, along with the referral.

 + -1 moreFaucet began dripping several years ago, but since use not necessary with several other showers etc available, I just turned off the water. When Elite's offer showed up on Angie's list, I decided it was time to get it repaired. Since there was no emergency, I put off scheduling it for a while, and when I did, both Elite and I were pretty flexible about arranging a time. The plumbers arrived a few minutes before scheduled time, worked efficiently and quickly, cleaned up any mess perfectly, courteously took care of the other little problem, and gave me an estimate of cost for possible future work. Completely saistisfied with all dealings with the company.
Description of Work: Elite repaired leaking faucet in a 2nd floor bathroom, fixed a faulty handle on sink in another bath. Gave an estimate for possible future installation of faucet in back yard.

 + -1 moreI bought a "Angie's Deal" for 2 hours of plumbing services from Elite Plumbing $99.00 and I'm sorry to say I really didn't see any difference between before they were there and after. Regarding the shower diverter, they told us that we would need to open the wall behind the tub / shower and replace the valve in the wall. OK, understood. they couldn't do it then, as they did not have a replacement and would need to give estimate. They snaked the two sinks to fix the slow draining. Fixed the drip in one sink. Outcome: Snaking did nothing & the drip was still there. The diverter actually was WORSE after they messed with it and it looks as if they glued the tub spout onto the cpvc pipe stub as I could not remove it as I could before from the wall. (neither could second plumber - see below) Also upon inspection it looks as if they broke 2 of the 4 "cross bars" in the drain that hold the plug / stopper in place. There is a right tool for this (as per the second plumber - see below)) however now that they snapped off 2 of 4 bars, removing the drain is impossible. We called a plumber we have used in the past and they fixed all issues including the diverter. Yes they had to go into the wall however they DID NOT replace the valve, they just replaced the cpvc pipe with copper. The second plumber adjusted the stoppers in the sinks to a better level and they now drain well. The drip needs to have a valve cartridge replaced. My wife just didn't have a warm and fuzzy feeling and seeing what was done and not done, neither do I.
Description of Work: We needed a tub shower diverter fixed, fix a drip in a sink and two sinks were draining slowly.

 + 0 moreWe returned from vacation and were disappointed to find we had no hot water. I examined the hot water heater and noticed the pilot was out. I tried to follow instructions on front of heater to get it relit but failed. I did a search on Angies List and Elite Plumbing had good reviews as well as a discount coupon. I contacted them at 8:00 am on Sunday morning. Frank answered the call and explained he was out of town but offered to have me contact his coowner Dale. Now comes the amazing part. Prior to hanging up the phone, Frank offers to try to walk me through lighting the pilot light. I walked through the steps and realized I had missed an important step; With Frank's help I gt it lit !! Here is a guy who is on his vacation and not gonna make a dime if I get it lit, actually takes the time to do this . I know this much, the next time I need plumbing services there is no doubt who my first call will be !!

Just so happens that my toilet started leaking after I purchased this and they were very accommodating with their schedule and came out first thing the next morning.
