It was a great experience, everything worked out good.

Did a good job, toilets had been in need of repair for a long time.

Monday morning, my family is at breakfast and my wife goes to check on a load of laundry. That was when she yelled for help! I arrived to our utility room to find water all over the floor and water pouring from the bottom of our water-heater. Things very quickly spiraled into chaos when the baby started crying, the dog starting barking, and my two and a half year old wanted to run around us to see what was happening. I called Elite Plumbing and without hesitation, they said yes to coming right over to replace my water heater. They honored the coupon on Angie's List, conducted the installation so that next time I could do it myself, treated us with respect, and above all gave us a great price.

Appt was extremely easy to arrange - scheduled for arrival between 9am and 11am. Received call about 20 minutes before 9:00 to let me know that he he was going to be about 10-min late getting to the house. Upon arrival, checked everything out, explained in detail the source of the leak, sealed areas responsbile for leaking and ran water to check to make certain water wasn't continuing to leak. Very friendly and professional; very good at explaining the source of the problem. Would highly recommend - very dependable and clearly working to establish long-term relationships with customers. After this experience, I would not using another company.

This is the first Big Deal that I have purchased from Angie's List. I called Elite Plumbing after purchasing and was immediately put off by the brusk "hello." There was no indication that I was calling the right number, I had to ask the gentleman if I had reached Elite Plumbing. He said yes. I informed him that I had purchased the Big Deal and explained what I was needing to have done. He was very curt and sounded disengaged. He said that he MIGHT be able to get to me by the end of the week, but that I should call him back after 5pm. That seemed strange to me considering that the company's hours are posted as regular daytime business hours. I decided to ask for a refund of the deal since his mannerisms were off-putting and my experience was mirrored in another review written a few days earlier.

I contacted the company twice to come out to fix a leak. The first time, I was told they would call me back later in the day, which they did not. I called back 2 days later and was informed that someone would come by the next day or following day to look at the leak. No one ever came by or contacted us. We lost a lot of water (and money) by waiting for this company to help us. If they had just been honest that they were too busy, we could have contacted someone else.

The company was very prompt. Scheduling was easy. On the day they came they showed up on time, completed the service, cleaned up after themselves and left. Exactly how it should be.

I call to tell them when the counter tops would be finished. Frank showed up right on time hooked up all the plumbing for the kitchen and three bath rooms. He did a real fine job and had them up a running in a short tine.

On February 6, 2013, I contacted three potential service providers ... Ace Plumbing, Elite Plumbing and Craig Plumbing ... which I had selected from Angie's List, to get estimates for the aforementioned hot water system changeover. I had a neighbor who was also interested in changing their hot water systems so this was an opportunity for two jobs from one phone call for the company that would be selected. After getting preliminary quotes from all three, I decided to go with Mr. Frank Mills/Elite Plumbing. All three companies were responsive and answered all my questions and it seemed that there wasn't any difference in work content but there was some difference in material costs between the three. Mr. Mills/Elite Plumbing came in with the lowest cost and actually reduced the cost by $200.00 for each of us because of the two customer option. I contacted Mr. Mills on 2/13/13 and gave him the "go ahead" to order the systems. He said it would be about a week for the systems to come in and he would contact me to schedule the installations. A week later on 2/20/13, Mr. Mills contacted me the the news that the two systems had arrived but the accessory kits for both units were the wrong kits. The distributor had made a mistake and the correct kits were reordered and we had to wait another week for them to arrive. The delay was in no way the fault of Mr. Mills but he did agree that he should have been more forceful with the distributor and asked for an express shipment on the reorder. On 2/27/13 Mr. Mills called me again and told me they had everything and wanted to schedule installations. Due to travel and some personal appointments on the part of myself and my neighbor, installation dates could not be set until 3/9/13 for my neighbor and for me on 3/11/13. Both jobs were completed in a very timely fashion, with minimal debris and general work mess. Mr. Mills and his associates did a very thorough job of cleaning up after the work was completed. Mr. Mills/Elite Plumbing have two very satisfied customers and will get our future plumbing business.

Extremely timely and called as appropriate. Completed work in good time and will be getting back to me with regard to a repair I need.

My wife and I own renttal property in Va beach while our domicile is in Chesapeake. We have been experiencing a vexing problem with the made in Mexico 40 gallon American gas hot water heater model bfg614t403nov: the pilot light will not stay lit. With the recent passing of my father and dreading more bad news or major ecpenses, I reluctantly researched Angies Liist for the highest rated plumbers I could find. My search led me to Elite Plumbing. I called Elite Sunday night and easily set up an appointment for the next day with Dale. Dale seemed to know exactly what the problem was and eased my worried mind. This is the exact text I recieved from my tenant upon completion of the work: "Problem solved. Elite Plumbing was right on time and fixed the problem quickly. Dale even showed me what to do in the future should the problem return. Great guy." Need I say more? Frank made quick work of the issue, and did so without a charge because I had a coupon. Very helpful, and provided advice for future reoccurences. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs professional plumbing services!

He had to go get some parts so he had to come back and make a second visit. He did come back which was good on Saturday. He said it would be a little more than what we agreed upon but he said it took extra time to drive and come back so it ran more than he anticipated. He left while I was writing the check and I called them and he said forget about the extra cost. I thought it was a little unprofessional because it seemed he was unhappy but he said no he just hopes he uses him again. I was happy with the work.

This went extremely well. Frank showed up at the appointed time (0730) and began putting down carpet protection to help reduce soiling. Commenced draining the old tank and staging equipment and tools. His roofer (Loyd) showed up and put the new flashing and exhaust stack through the existing hole in the roof. Additionally, Loyd noticed there were three shingles that needed replacing and did so at a reasonalbe price. Frank continued on through lunch to complete this installation. When the work was completed, he cleaned up the work area in the attice and loaded and removed the old hot water heater. With the exception of a new hot water heater, did not know there was a workmen in the house when he was done. This is the second time I have used Elite Plumbing and the second review I am providing on Frank and his work. I can not praise him enough. As I mentioned in my first review, I will use Frank again in the future. If you are in need of a plumber, look no further. You will be extremely satisfied on the quality of the work, equipemnt and price. My overall rating is an A-plus.

Experience was good. They came when they said they would. They finished the job fine.

I called to set up an appointment. I described the project that I needed to have done. He was very honest and upfront stating that the scope of the project would be beyond the services he provided. He did recommend another plumbing to do the work.

It went well, except that the hardware I purchased for the outdoor shower was missing a 'step up' ring; Frank didn't have one. I told him to swing by anytime before spring (after all, I'm not using the outdoor shower right now) when he had work in the area. Gotta hand it to Frank-- although it took a while to complete, he DID come back and finish the job. Great work Frank. Now, if it would only get warm...
