He arrived on time. He put everything in and cleaned up after themselves. The two of the sinks were leaking though he did have to come back, but he came back and fixed it. He didn't charge me anything extra. I am going to use them again as I bought another Big Deal, but I haven't set that up yet.

. Elite Plumbing is a one man operation . He does not appear to realize that answering his phone is part of the business. At first the only way to contact him was thru the message board at Angies List. Just setting up the appointment was a burden. When the service was provided we ran into problems that required a second appointment. At that time it was clear that he was screening his calls. I could not get calls returned but when I called from a different number he answered. If I had not purchased the deal online I would have used a different service provider from the start and avoided a 2 week long hassle. No ! I will not use Elite plumbing again, nor would I recommend him.

Frank-arrived on time -He had the old one out and the new one in a short time. The new one only used about 1/4 to 1/3 water the old one did. Very pleased !!! M.T. WALKER

Went well. Frank came out and assessed situation. Dale came back and did the fixing! They were very knowledgeable and friendly.

We had purchaseda big deal for the service, and we weren't impressed. He was getting ready to go on a trip when he came in, and he rushed through, and he was getting calls. He said he was taking his family to Disney World, and so it felt rushed, and it may have been better others. He said that we needed a new toilet upstairs, and we were supposed to schedule that, but my husband just did it. He came timely after we purchased it.

I purchased the 'Big Deal' for 2 hours of plumbing. I called, Frank returned my call within the hour (on a Friday) and we made an appointment for Monday morning. He showed up within the hour of the appointment, took out the old faucet and had the new one in extremely fast! I purchased 2 hours, but he certainly didn't need two hours to complete this task. I will certainly call Elite Plumbing again when I need a plumber! I would mention that a faucet exchange doesn't require the talent of a master plumber, which Frank is, but he honored the Big Deal with a smile and professionalism.

It turned out great. They did a good job. They were very professional. I was most pleased. They came on the time they said they would.

Frank was friendly and professional . Did a good job installing my gas line, would definitely use again.

Mr Kelso (partner) arrived on time. Set the toilet. Used level to check whether the floor was level (on an even plane)...He was knowledgeable, polite, professional. When I called Elite on a later date and requested their professional help, Frank was quick to respond, completed the work. I will be calling on Elite Plumbing again.

The installed arrived a little bit early (which was fine) and very quickly removed the old facet and installed the new facet we had purchased at Loews. In total he was done in about 30 minutes. I'm not sure if my $200.00 would of covered more work? If it would, It is my fault I didn't have more work for him lined up for my $200.00.

No complaints. Job was done right. Done right the first time. On time. Price included labor and parts.

Everything went smoothly. Nothing leaks and my toilet isn't wobbly. We are pleased with how it all went.

Ok. Flushing hot water heater was easy enough, but had an issue with smell from the pipes and he did not offer much in the way of solution (other than what we had already accomplished).

Great! Frank identified the issue very rapidly and gave me a very reasonable estimate to fix it. He came back two days later and fixed the problem. The total cost I listed includes the original Angies List coupon.

Purchased $99.00 special for 2 hours of plumbing services. Took 3 visits to resolve my plumbing issues. No extra charge for return visits. Give them a C on business practices and communications but have to give Dale Kelso Co Owner of Elite Plumbing service an A for not only quality of his work but responsiveness in clearing errors made by another plumber. No breakdown or paperwork left with homeowner on work. I had to do the running to get the new inserts from Comet Plumbing as these parts are not available on service units. Sent E-mails to E mail address as posted on Angie's list but got no response whatsoever using this form of communication. I mentioned this fact to Mr. Kelso on his last visit and he said he would pass it onto Mr. Frank Mills who is suppose to be taking care of the technology end of business. They may be master plumbers who realize technology is a big part of growing a business in 2013 but they are having issues on the proper use of this technology to provide a customer friendly experience for the customer. Mr. Kelso provided me with a business card with his cell phone number on it and it proved to be the most effective way to communicate. Mr. Kelso has been doing this plumbing thing for 30 years, he is a master plumber, and gets it done the old fashioned way with the help of his wife when you call his cell phone number and he is not immediately available. She oases on the message and Mr. Kelso calls back as soon as he can. Still miss Mr. Ed from Plumbing Wizard in Portsmouth but understand that a man can retire when the time comes. Turns out Mr. Kelso would be an acceptable replacement for Mr. ED.

Frank responed promptly to my telephone message requesting an appointment time. He was very flexible with my calendar. He arrived promptly at the appointed time and was very personable right from the start. After surveying the work I wanted done, he immediately got to work completing all the work in an orderly fashion. He maintained an awareness of my home's floors and rugs, and took steps to avoid any issues with his foot coverings. He supplied all the necessary tools. While it has only been 1 day since the job was completed, Frank's work appears to be Excellent, and assuming the leak remains fixed and the Pop-ups continue to function as designed, I would use him again without question.

I called and made an appointment to have a pipe replaced, and a whole house plumbing inspection. No one showed up for the appointment and no one called me to advise there was an issue. I called repeatedly for over an hour and no one answered. I could not leave a message as the voicemail was full. Finally after about the tenth phone call, someone answered and advised they would call "him" to see where he was at. They called me back a few minutes later advising he was running behind and was soaking wet and would have to reshedule. My issue isn't with him running behind, my issue is that no one bothered to reach out to me and had I not called repeatedly they would have just not shown up without the courtesy of letting me know. While I am sure they are probably good plumbers, I am not sure that customer service is at the top of their list.

It was excellent. He was very professional and really a nice guy.

It worked out okay. They charged me an extra of $60 for the materials needed. I am just kind of neutral about the service. I did not have any issues with them.

Frank was very professional and a pleasure to work with. His assistant was also great! The price was very reasonable for the amount of work done. He got the job done quickly and was available to come back for any possible problems. If I need plumbing work done in the future, I would definitely call Elite Plumbing again.

I should have known this would not go well when Frank of Elite Plumbing did not contact me within the stated time frame to set up a visit - I had to call him (strike one). He could not come till the following week, but we set a time. The date and time came and went and about 30 minutes after the appointment time I called to see what was up - Frank had forgot my appointment (strike two) and was in Virginia Beach but could come the next day. I know how these things can happen so I set up an appointment for the next day, but my wife would have to be home and not me. Frank showed up on time and completed the work in 15-20 minutes and was quickly gone - turns out he left way too quickly as the pipes leak! The pipes leak at a pipe joint as it seems there is not a good seal (strike three). When I called Frank to let him know, he said that the pipe was not leaking when he left but the point is the pipe is leaking now. I recommend you avoid this shop and save yourself time and aggravation - I'm asking Angie's List to refund the $60 special I had paid to them to get this recommendation. I guess everyone can have a bad experience even with shops that have done well in the past but I was relying on Angie's List to help me avoid just kind of thing happening. Again, I recommend that you find another plumbing shop no matter how good the Angie's List coupon - it will be more than worth the difference in cost and well worth avoiding this kind of experience. Aug 23, 2013 UPDATE I found a plumbing company that hit a home run the first time at bat! We can now use our bathroom sink again! Claflin Plumbing (highly rated on Angie's List) took my call on the evening of Aug 22 and was able to come by the next morning - in fact they came an hour early as they were able to finish up their previous call. Steve Clafin took care of the problem by first removing the leaking pipes installed the day before. Clafin Plumbing also provides a 1-year warranty on their work - something lacking from Elite Plumbing. A solid bet is to call Clafin the first time - good, solid work, quickly performed and at reasonable cost.

We had purchased a big deal for the service, it went fine. We didn't have any problems at all. We had them do some more work for us, and so we paid more. They did a very good job. I had to wait on him one day.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service. This was the first time I used this company and I was not here when the did the work, but my son was. They did not charge me anything extra, but they actually docked an hour off of the coupon for driving up to Suffolk.

He took the fixture apart and determined it was probably bad. Then he told us he wasn't sure a new fixture would solve the issue and put it all back together, still trickling. He promised to call us in 2-3 days to reschedule the fix. He never called and never showed up again. We paid another plumber to do the job to the tune of $400. I would like to thank Elite Plumbing for taking my Angie's List money and running with it. I hope he at least spent it on dinner with his wife, or something. Maybe 2 dinners...

-My shower head would not stop leaking water when turned off and was more running than dripping so I had to cut the water off to my home - turning it on only when I took a shower. I was stood up twice by a plumber I will not name here so after three days of no water I was getting over this plumber quickly. Frustrated I went to Angie's list and chose the all A rated Elite Plumbing and called - it was about 8pm and got the expected message - very pleasant but I decided not to leave a message. In about three minutes my phone rang and I was amazed it was Elite Plumbing calling me right back at that time of the evening. I was very impressed. The gentleman introduced himself as Frank - very friendly. I explained my problem. He explained (this was Tuesday evening) he was booked till Friday. So because he was driving we hung up and I texted him all of my information, phones address etc. Because of my being without water Frank worked it out to be at my home 3:30 Thursday. I left work early and arrived home at 3:18 and Frank was waiting. Wow. He worked fast - immediately determined what I needed - left and bought the part - brought it back and within just a few minutes my problem was solved. Very nice, very accommodating and fairly priced. I know why Elite is an A. It's because of Frank. I would definitely use again.
