All went very well. Tom did a great design, and his team did a great job implementing the plan. This includes some great modifications based on their professional opinions that were perfect. He clearly has excellent people working for him.

It turned out well. Scheduling was fine and they were very responsive. We are in the process of having them do the work, which should be completed in November.

The consultation was fine. As I recall, it went smoothly and they got back to us when promised. The person we dealt was pleasant. We did not end up using their service due to their costs.

It turned out fine. They’ve come out two times. The first time was for the back yard and the second time they came out was for the front yard. Their pricing was a little on the higher end.

Their responsiveness and punctuality were both good. The person I dealt with was fine. The estimate was everything we needed, however we ended up doing the work ourselves.

Tom helped me in the design to use what I had to stay under my budget. The crew was great! Very professional and cleaned up every day. Which was nice since my kids kept wanting to go see the progress everyday. Two hiccups. One was a bad measurement which called for more pavers, Tom sucked up the extra cost. The other was the design for the pavers given to the crew was wrong. We noticed half way through and Tom corrected the mistake. The only thing I wish went better is that they would have filled in more sand, but that's an easy fix for me.

Tom was prompt for the original meeting and returned at the scheduled time with a detailed design plan. He did a great job incorporating all my ideas into a cohesive plan. Tom was very flexible when the original start date needed to be delayed due to my needs. With the rescheduled date, the crew arrived on time and seemed to know exactly what they needed to do based on Larry's direction. Larry did a great job communicating with me at each step of the installation process. They were neat and diligent and finished the job in the estimated time frame.

Love Tom! He gave me two plans and listened to my desire for plants that thrive in this climate. Didn't want grass.

I bought the deal almost a year ago, but my schedule kept changing so I had to keep putting off the start of this project. Finally, I was able to set up a time to meet with Tom a few weeks ago. He spent almost an hour walking with me around my yard, listening to my likes and dislikes. He came back last week with a sketch and pricing. He gave me several creative options on how to turn my big empty back yard into a great entertainment space. He also broke the pricing down by phases so I can do one project at a time, making it alot easier on my budget. I have lived in the house for seven years and have always wanted to bring the spacious yard up to its full potential, but I just didn't know where to start. Tom helped me get a vision of my dream onto paper so I could get started.

It was great. They were very professional and that's why I am looking forward to working with them. They were very personable, very approachable and very friendly.

UPDATE: all 5 dogwoods died, but I received prompt response and email as well as phone contacts regarding their replacement as per the guarantee. I was promptly advised that this would be taken care of, and also made aware that the timing would depend on when they were doing work in the area. Indeed, the replacements were made very quickly. This type of reliability and follow up certainly warranted an upgrading of my original scores. Similar communication to keep me "in the loop" during the initial project would have gone a long way toward preventing my initial disappointment with their services The above question of whether I would use them in the future would actually warrant a "maybe" from me at this point, but that's not an option on this form. ------------------------------------------------------------------ The initial start date was intentionally left unspecified as it was to be done in winter when appropriate. With the initial deposit in October, the $4000 of work was done in January which seemed late but was OK. However, the second phase of work which was another $5000 was signed for in February. We were given 2 different dates in April and May when work was to be done as well as 2 back-up dates for each of those but nothing occurred on any of those 4 times. Though my recollection was that weather was fine, we were told work was not done because of the weather. Delays lead to significant regrowth of the previous ground cover from the bare grounds. (We fully expected some of this, but felt this was made much worse because of the delay in applying the requested mulch) Frankly we were at the point of requesting our deposit back when work was finally done the Friday before Memorial day after several calls on my part expressing puzzlement at the delays. After all the delays, the fact that the work done only required about half a day only made those delays seem all the more unacceptable though the end result was what we were looking for Add to it, our cable service was cut TWICE (once during each of the work sessions) in spite of having had lines marked, and we were less than thrilled with the overall experience.

Took two weeks to get appointment for initial meeting. Showed up on time and took notes on our yard and what we were looking for. Three weeks later we still had not received any design. Contacted Dreamscape Design by email to ask if there was a problem or we had not provided them with something they needed to complete the work. Was told individual who was to send us package was on leave and it would be sent out when they get back (2 days). Received scanned document in email 2 days later and asked to set up follow-up appointment for pricing two week from then. Wrote response we were not happy with the time it took to get an appointment and the amount of time it took to get design so we would not be using their company. Owner called next morning and delivered full package to the house on 4/23 with apology for the delay and mix up with getting package to us, he also refunded the full $75.00. I am rating my overall experience with getting the design and timeliness. I do not have anything to compare the quality of the design or pricing that was provided so I have rated them as NA. My grade of D in responsiveness is due to the long period it took to even get an appointment and then the excessive time to receive the design (for $75.00 I would have thought there would have been done much quicker and follow-up). With that said when I did finally write the company and told them they took action and I did not expect to receive a refund which goes to their professionalism. We were looking to have the work done quickly before some events at our home and five weeks to just get the design did not provide us indication we would get the job done on time. The owner did offer to move us to the top of their work list if we did decide to have any of the work done but we are at the point we do not want to start the work now.

We met with the owner who was very knowledgeable. He had great suggestions and design and the price was good. We decided to delay work for financial reasons. They were punctual and followed up. When we are ready we will certainly use Dreamscape Designers.

We ended up also having them do some work in our yard on top of the consultation and they did a fine job.

DREAMSCAPE DESIGNERS LANDSCAPE COMPANY was very prompt in contacting us after we purchased the Angie's List deal. We got an email that same night and talked to them 2 days later by phone. We met in person with them that same week for consult and they worked up a landscaping proposal and had it back to us the next week. The owner is the one that visited us. He was very responsive to our needs. We have contracted to move forward with the proposal when it's the best time for planting (April). I'm very excited to see the results.

It went very well. As far as the consultation...if I thought about it....it is supposedly a $750 deal which I doubt but it's certainly worth a $75.

|Dreamscape Designers was very responsive, and flexible as I had to move the work back a week to fit my schedule. The work is top-notch! I'm very impressed with the stone work fit and finish. I'm already recommending them to friends and neighbors, and will definitely use them again in the future!

I purchased the garden plan and they installed 6 chindo plants. They originally were not the correct size, but they did come back and replace them without any problems. They were also proactive on keeping informed about the situation for timing/availability.

I contacted Dreamscape Design the 2nd week of August 2013 in order to have a small side yard graded with the installation of a retaining wall and then sod over the graded yard. An estimator was sent out and I was told this was a no big deal project and could have it done in a day once the go-ahead was given. The estimate did not arrive the day I was promised. I called and was told the estimate would be there in a couple more days. Although I was promised an estimate with several options at several price points with all the details, I received a single option with no price. I called again and several days later I finally received what I was promised. However there was a major problem with the estimate.... they told me to grade the side yard would be a fair price... but the sod installation would be almost $1000! This was for an 80x7 foot side yard. I had received other estimates for this sod job and I didn't receive a single estimate over $250. I told DreamScape designers the the sod was much too high and I would simple prefer to have the side yard graded with the retaining wall installed. They said this changed things a bit and they would get back to me with a date to see when they could "fit me in". A week later I received a call stating how instead of the quick 'one day job' that I was promised....that they couldn't fit me in until 2 months later! I guess the profit margin was too low once they realized I wouldn't pay 4x the normal cost for sod. I told them I would wait. Fast forward two months and it is two days prior to the installation. I get a call from DreamScape Designers and I am asked if the installation day two days in the future would work. I said yes, no problem I would just like to talk to the contractor about the retaining wall to find out the material. The contractor said he didn't think there was supposed to be a retaining wall and this would change the project. I forwarded him the quote and the actually drawing they sent me of the retaining wall installation design. How did they respond? They told me that they decided they would no longer like to take this project on. Their reasoning? I never signed anything or sent a deposit. Did they ever send me anything to sign or ask for/provide a method of payment? No. An absolutely horrible company for your project. Their unethical and extortionary tactics will leave you bleeding out of your wallet or getting pushed months down the road so they hope you will cancel instead of them canceling the day before showing up. They should be embarrassed to still be in operation.

Went very well, pricing for complete front landscape was acceptable. We have signed contract to have the work done in October.

The offer was for a landscape assessment and analysis with a proposal and a conceptual plan/drawing for your project for only $75. This service is normally valued at $750, saving members $675! I would be pretty peeved if I paid $750 for what I received. They were knowledgeable and pleasant. But, for $75 I received a hand-drawn sketch of my lawn with scribbles and illegible writing. Looks like it was completed about 20 minutes before my appointment. The estimate did not reflect any discount like the advert claimed it would. Plus, there were two features on the plan not in quote. They are probably a great company, but I was certainly expecting more for my money. I am sure there is a lot of time used to determine the plants and layout.

The work turned out decent. It was pretty much what we asked for and I have no complaints about them. We were a little unhappy with some plant choices, but we didn’t really know what we wanted so we went with their recommendations and other people may have like the choices they made.

The work was fantastic! We had a couple plants that didn’t make it the first year, and they give you a year guarantee and they came out and replaced them with no issues. They are very customer service oriented and I could not be happier with them!
