Needed an electrician no-notice on a Sunday. Cole's price for a Sunday emergency call was substantially less than the competitor's! I've used Cole's on multiple occasions before; all with absolutely fantastic service. Technician arrived as scheduled and completed all repairs/replacements in the home. As usual, the customer service with Cole's is unparalleled.

I called and spoke with Cole. He was on the other line talking to another person and he didn't ask my name but just said to send him an email. I was taken aback but I did send him an email but he did not respond until days later. He said "I don't know if I ever got in touch with you and I noticed your email". Then he said, "well, I'm the only one that can do estimates". Really, making excuses... not good since this is my first call to this company. I don't care how good your job rating is... you still need customers and their recommendations to make your business flourish. First impressions do matter.

They were great. They were thorough, clean, and polite. They did a great job and I would use them again. They were just really good about making sure that I was happy by the time they left. Their price was very reasonable and I wouldn't call anyone else.

The workmen were pleasant and very professional. The quality of the work they performed was excellent. They cleaned up any mess that was made in the performance of their work. The only dissatisfaction with the work performed was they immediate cut an outlet hole in the garage wall without asking if the location was acceptable, which it wasn't, he apologized and installed a solid cover plate over the hole then installed the outlet where I wanted it. The only dissatisfaction I have is since I work shift work, I have to schedule non-emergency repairs in advance. The short notice calls and arrivals throws my days off scheduled tasks to where I do not accomplish everything I have planned to do.

Above and Beyond: Mike and his crew arrived on time and not only completed the quoted work at the highest professional level, they also fixed problems they found along the way that another electrician may have just let slide. For example, an older wire that was running up along the house was identified, traced to the source and removed after consulting me on it. Mike also patched a hole in the wall below the breaker panel that previous owners had created to run wire through. Scott Cole was beyond fair with pricing as well. Mike identified work that did not need to be completed and they walked me through why (rewiring of the dryer did not need to be done). He also reduced the original estimate due to the fact that the inspector said I would need to move ducting near the breaker panel. Scott estimated how much that would cost and took it off of his estimate. Start to finish this was a great experience and needless to say I have found an electric company that will always get my business.

Great job from initial estimate to completion. The owner of the company came out to do the estimate and spent a lot of time explaining what was necessary and what wasn't and answering all of my questions. His workers worked very efficiently and did a great job. The owner is very responsive over the phone and email and takes pride in his company and his work. I will definitely hire this company again if I need any more electrical work.

One of the mechanics came out for the estimate, but Mr. Cole had some questions and came out personally a day later. Very well organized. Majority of the work was completed in one day with four mechanics on the job. Mr. Cole remained in contact with me and ensured that any question on how to do anything was resolved quickly. Crew came back on day two to finish up smart box install, then walked through the entire project to make sure everything was completed. City inspector came next and I walked through with him. He also was very satisfied. They added new ground stake and new ground to cold water line, anti-arc circuit breakers where required, and made sure everything they touched was up to code and should be trouble free.

Cole Electric came over Labor Day weekend and replaced the panel. They were very helpful and did an excellent job. I will call them again if I have need for an electrician.

Steve came out and got everything done that an independent electrician the previous day said could not be done. Everything was done in a timely manner at a resonable cost. Very professional!

I emailed him and he emailed back the same night. He was at my home first thing in the morning and had everything fixed in a couple of hours. Excellent work and service! Would definitely use Cole's again.

Done with in time stated and they were very efficient and cleaned up after. Would I recommend them yes. Great set of guys and very polite explained everything they were doing.

Cole Electric was a joy to deal with from start to finish. We emailed Scott, the owner through Angie's list who immediately called us back to set up a time to give us an estimate on the electrical work that we needed to have accomplished in our home. They showed up five minutes early with four guys, dressed neatly in matching Cole Electric uniforms. They walked around our house and fixed little things: like a cracked electrical outlet and a switch that needed to be changed for an electrical outlet. We estimated that they did about $150 worth of work and did not charge us! They gave us a detailed written estimate of the work to be done and what it would cost us. My husband and I talked about it for two days and then we called them back to schedule our appointment for Friday, 01/25/13. Once again Cole Electric showed up early and neatly dressed. They began the job at 8 a.m. and put protective canvas coverings over all of our furniture. There were about six guys and what they call a "runner" who runs for different supplies. Turns out that the runner was Scott Cole's son. Everyone was respectful and kind to me, my husband and our two dogs. Our house was built in 1950 so to say our electrical was antiquated is an understatement. They changed out our electrical panel, put in three new outlets. About 3/4 through the job Mike, the guy in charge on our project, arranged for the inspector to come out and inspect our new electrical. It passed with flying colors! When Cole Electric finished the job, two of our new light fixtures had not arrived yet. Mike told us to call Scott and let him know when the new fixtures arrived and they would come back and install the new lights in our bathroom. Two days later the lights arrived and I called Scott. Within an hour, Mike & another one of the Cole Electric guys came in and 15 minutes later they were finished. They took all the garbage out to our garbage cans and cleaned up neatly. Scott Cole and his employees, embody the word: "Professionalism." Saying they are electricians doesn't quite fit. Artisans, Craftsmen & Electrical Concierges would all more accurately capture who they are as a company. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with them. They are AMAZING. The depths of our gratitude to Cole Electric far exceeds words.

I called Cole Electric to get a quote to install some recessed lighting. Scott Cole sent out one of his employees Mike to come check out the job and provide an estimate. After receiving the estimate, I also received 2 other estimates. I really liked Mike and felt that Cole would be the best company for the job. After negotiating the price, we set up a date to have the lights installed. They told me it would be a 2 day job. They started promptly at 8 am on Friday morning. I told them that I had to leave the house by 2:30 for an appt. They said no problem and would come back on Saturday. They didn't need to come back. They installed 14 total recessed lights. 8 in my sunroom and 6 in my library with a dimmer switch. They were even able to install the lighting with no sheetrock damage or damage to my crown molding. They actually finished early and were cleaning up and making final adjustments at 1:30 pm on Friday. I was so impressed with their work, that I hired them to install 10 more recessed lights in my living room on February 4th. They started at 8 am and finished before 11. I couldn't be happier with the results. Their work is fantastic and I highly recommend their service and will definitely use them in the future.

Can only say they were outstanding start to finish. Mr Cole is very easy to work with. Will not sell you something you don't need. Thank you sir.

Two switch plates in the garage had stopped working, and we needed a receptacle for a new over the range microwave we had purchased. After talking with Scott Cole we changed our minds about having the microwave installed, not cost effective since we are going to remodel our kitchen next year. Two great guys showed up the next day and replaced two switch plates in the garage. There were also problems with how our generator had been installed and they alerted us to a potential problem if not corrected. They were friendly, efficient, and completed the job in less than an hour. We will definitely use Cole Electric and his crew again in the future!!

Overall, very pleased. Cole Electric will be my go to for all things electrical.

These guys were AMAZING! They were in and out. They did a great job on all the wiring. It is all very neat and professional. At the end of the project Mr. Cole himself came out to make sure his guys had done it properly. He then went out and bought the plug I needed for my range himself! What?!? I loved their work and I refuse to allow any one else to touch anything electric in my house. Thank you Mike and Bob for doing a great job! Hiring them again soon to come and get my refrigerator situated.

The whole process went great and better than expected. Originally when they came out for an estimate they told me there were probably going to be some drywall repairs that I would need to take care of once they were done installing the new ceiling fan. Upon hiring them, I had prepared myself for the additional expense of having to have someone else come out to fix walls. The guys were great! They were actually able to install the new ceiling fan without creating any additional holes in my wall, as originally thought when I received the estimate. Obviously this was great news for us! The guys cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. I would definitely hire them again! Oh and fan and light look and work great!

I called Mr. Cole on Wednesday about an electrical problem with an outlet in my livingroom. He was available immediately but I had to return to work. He came to my home early on Friday as we discussed and with amazing speed he diagnosed my electrical problem and did the repair right away. Mr Cole and his assistant were very courteous and professional.

He came first thing in the morning and started working. They finished work around 3:00 or 4:00. It was worth it. We did not plan on the fuse box, but he said we needed one. They were very nice and very professional.

Hurricane Sandy couldn't leave Virginia and my home without causing me grief. Had a BIG limb snap and fall on the power line and that caused the power line to bend the mast the power line fed through, to the meter reader power box attached to the house. Local power company gave me 10 days to replace bent mast or have power shut off. Went on Angie's List called a few electric companies and estimates were all running about the same. Cole Electric however, was assertive and aggressive, not in a bad way, but just in a 'want my business' way and so I went with them. Plus with the positive reviews, seemed like a safe bet for good service. They also offered me an Angie's List Member discount. Experience: Cole's employees were prompt and had the job finished in short time They also showed concern for safety by showing me old parts that should be replaced, as well as, went out of the way to do the little thing like re-secure tighter the power box affixed to the property. They completed the job and cleaned up and left me with a nice shiny, straight new mast for the power line. Their service was followed up by a phone call the next day from the Owner making sure I was satisfied with the service received and to let me know that he would take care of the permit and inform the local power company. I was not happy with the need of having to deal with an unexpected electrical situation. I was happy that Cole was there to give great service. They are in my phone contacts for any future needs I might have.

I called Mr Cole on Tuesday afternoon about 4pm. We discussed my problem with the circuit breaker tripping and my disire to get a price quote on the undercounter lighting. He had a crew at my house the next morning at 8am. They originally thought I needed a dedicated line installed from my microwave because it was tripping the breaker. They measured for the lights and discussed the options and prices. While the first crew was checking on the circuit breaker problem, Mr Cole diipatched a second crew to pickup the lights. They arrived an hour later, and all four men proceeded to finish the work. During the time the repairs were being done they gave me some good news. A dedicated line had been installed when the home was built but not wired to a seperate breaker switch. They installed a new breaker switch and saved me $295.00 dollars.I certainly appreciate their honesty, I would never have known the difference. They finished installing my lights and were out of my house by 11:30. They cleaned up after they finished and took great care to not damage my new counter tops. The lights are perfect and I couldn't be happier. Mr Cole called my home that evening to insure we were satisfied. To say the least we are.
