Description of Work: Over past month have had numerous interactions with Brooks staff and I can honestly say I have been well pleased. Estimator (Dana) was highly professional and had electronic tools to quickly and properly estimate our shipment (she got estimate within 500# of actual). Packers (partial pack) were fast, well trained and very helpful. They worked fast to minimize our hourly charge. Next was the moving team and this two man team (Paul and Joel) were amazing. They worked non stop for a solid nine hours, minimized the need for a second truck and handled all pieces safely and without incident. I've had dozens of military moves but this one was the best. Brooks is highly recommended.

Description of Work: Team lead was professional, courteous and team worked quickly and efficiently. Asked questions to ensure proper placement of boxes, prepped the house to avoid tracking in dirt. On time. Nothing was broken. Excellent experience.

Description of Work: They loaded their truck at point A and unloaded at point B. Plus they unloaded a POD that was delivered from another state. They were friendly and it went well.

Description of Work: If you're not on the South side, don't expect an evening appointment. They want their customers to accommodate the hours of their employees.

Description of Work: The guys that worked were very nice and hustled to get the job done. After I signed off, I realized my $4,500 French Horn was missing. I called the company a couple times but did not hear back after the second call. Also, I would definitely buy the insurance next time as some of our leather furniture was damaged and I did not see it until after I signed off.

Description of Work: The home office personnel were responsive and the crew was very courteous. They tried, but the care with which they treated the boxes and furniture was baffling. Some of the crew were appropriately careful, but others were clueless and not at all mindful of the fact that boxes contained fragile items. Putting tape on some ancient veneered pieced was astounding...Nice enough folks but if I were ever to move again, I would not use them.

Description of Work: Brooks moved our household belongings and vehicle from Virginia Beach,VA to southern Michigan. The staff at Brooks made this move so smooth. All our questions were answered. They provided tips for successful packing. Kept us informed about every stage of the move. And even provided free used boxes. Our drivers, Jeff White (household transport) and Bruce Luke (vehicle transport) were fantastic. They called or texted us along their route to let us know their progress and exactly when they would arrive. Oh and I don't want to forget to give kudos to our relocation consultant, Michael Denny for a very accurate cost estimate. I would highly recommend this organization.

Description of Work: I would definitely recommend them. The team was on time, extremely friendly and took great care of my belongings.

Description of Work: Full home pack up and relocation from Virginia to Wisconsin. I gave them a B because the estimator said there were military discounts and none were applied. The moving crew cut up a lot and I feel they could have been done sooner had they been more focused. And only one of the truck driver's crew showed to unload a 3500 squ ft worth of belongings. Moving company on the WI end had no backup for him and I ended up helping for the last two hours.

Description of Work: Brooks (United) moved my furniture and belongings from Williamsburg into their storage facility and then to my home in Mt. Airy, MD. | |There were a few items broken and several items were missing.

Description of Work: We were extremely pleased with the two young men who moved us. They were punctual and very careful of our daughter's furniture and belongings. They were also friendly and worked hard with us to clean out her apartment. I would certainly use Brooks Transfer again. I believe the one young man was Armound and can't recall the name of his partner but thanks to both of them for such an easy move. We were very worried about getting the washer and dryer out of a small space but they made it easy. Great job!
