Excellent. I don't know how they managed to get a few of my large pieces in the small elevator.

They showed up on time. They were polite. They did their job.

They were excellent. What I liked most was the presentation that the relocation specialist gave me. He was very thorough, personal and friendly. He didn't seem like he rushed me and I liked that. They said that they would give me free boxes, too! No one else had offered to do that. In addition to that, they're going to move my bed and heavy furniture.

It went very smoothly. There was not one piece of furniture damaged during the move. Mike Denny was the salesman that arranged the whole project, and he was my constant contact throughout. The team that showed up was outstanding, showing nothing but courtesy and care for ourselves and our belongings. It was a great experience.

Worst movers ever. My dining room table base is cracked in two, both top sides of my computer cabinet were broken completely off, the leg of a footstool is completely broken off, the joint of an armoire has come apart, they lost an antique umbrella stand, I have bar shelves that do not belong to me, my glass shelves are missing, my iPhone charger that I had plugged in during the move is gone and the head guy in charge of the move was hitting me up for money to buy lunch. If you use this company be sure to get the full insurance coverage. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are giving me the complete run around as far as repairs or compensation and they have the most unresponsive customer service I have ever seen.

They were great. They were super. They were on time and nothing was lost or broken. I got a refund after the move. I don't know what else you could ask for from a mover.

Poor communication. Never got a reminder phone call for estimate a day before. I used their services 2 years ago but I guess they are too busy these day for a customer.

This experience was witnessing a well-trained pattern of professionalism and excellence from start to finish. Our movers were efficient, compassionate, accommodating, professional, and exacting in performing their responsibilities. No breakage, no losses - just plain perfect! How could you ask for anything more.

We used Brooks last year when we moved to a new home. Some of our best furniture was moved to a beach home we had for sale. Today they returned to move that furniture to a storage unit. Once again Brooks send professionals! Two movers carefully covered and moved our things to a nearby storage unit. They were right on time, encased may items in plastic wrap for storage, moved a highly valued chandelier and went above and beyond by helping with even unpacked items. It was all done in the time frame promised.

I've moved 15 times in my life and this was the best move yet. Brooks is the outfit you want moving your stuff and Anthony is the driver you want in charge. Everything went on schedule as promised without a single item damaged. A's across the board on this one!

This team was incredible! My move was stressfull and complicated with a last minute cancellation due to closing issues. Mike Steele and Connie were extrememly helpful and supportive as I had to cancel our scheduled move the night before the packers arrived. They made the process so easy!! When I was ready to reschedule, they had my dates available and set everything up quickly. The packing team was polite, professional and proficient. I've found no issues with any of the items I've unpacked. The moving team was also polite, professional, and efficient. I've moved many times and Brooks Transfer has been the best experience Hands Down!!

My move went amazing --- The attention that Erika ( Mover Broker at Brooke) and the Driver Earnest gave to me and my "stuff" was amazing. Moving from NC to Texas is a big deal Mike came to my house gave me an estimate. Erika call me to update me on my pick up date and delivery date, Earnest, the driver promptly came on pick up date, and because Earnest, my driver gave so much attention to my artwork, my boxes and all of my precious items, I felt like I was the only customer he had. Earnest called me before he arrived to pick up and called me during my drive to Texas --- he was on time and professional at all times. me all. Earnest arrived at my destination in Texas - unloaded all my "stuff" placing my boxes where I needed them - and putting together my furniture. Earnest made me feel like my stuff was important to him ------- This moving company is awesome !!! I can not express how smoothly this move happened. I have moved before but never this far nor have I have the feeling of security that these folks have to me ------ Thanks to Mike Denny, Erika and Earnest, I have moved 1,566 miles without any stress or damage. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is moving.

They were good. I would use them again. They did a good job. I have always had good experience with them.

The packing & loading of truck was contracted to all be done on 6/17/13 but crew had to get boxes and couldn't even finish the packing on 6/17/13. On 6/18/13 and different crew was sent to finished. Arrived 2 1/2 hours late, a crew that didn't want to be there, wasted lots of time, complained about Mike (agreed w/them there), arrived in groups of 2-3 & only stayed a couple of hours, then had to wait around for another 2-3, and another 2-3. At 9pm all finally boxed & loaded onto 2 trucks. My plan gto be half way to new home in FLA that day could not happen. Cleaner and carpet cleaner schedule to work on empty condo couldn't because it was still full of belongings. Many calls to Mike to get a decent crew out were sent to voicemail. Office said they'd contact him....still on 6/19/13...waiting for Mike to call me despite messages & him telling me the morning of 6/18/13 he would call me later in the day "to see how things were going". Corporate did call and said they would give me $200 for my trouble...insulting. BROOKS/UNITED MOVERS IN VIRGINIA BEACH SHOULD BE AVOIDED. This has been a nightmare & my belongings are even delivered yet. Movers did fine on day 1. On day two packers threw boxes onto truck and did not properly wrap many items. Many belongings were damaged. When the truck driver arrived he was appalled and took pictures which he sent to his boss. Packers were fired. I am still left with damaged belongings. I feel the general public should be warned about how this company operates.”

They were outstanding, careful, and considerate. We had to change our move date, and they were great understanding the change.

Every phase was perfect. Employees very careful with items and asked questions about what was to be packed and placement at new location. Much faster than I expected and dates I chose were available.

The overall experience with Brooks was excellent from start to finish. I appreciated the first meeting with the sales person. His quote was almost to the penny, which was amazing to me as we had so much stuff! The 4-man moving team was great. They were very careful with all our possessions and were efficient and professional. I highly recommend Brooks on all counts.

Moved everything without breaking a thing. The two "packers" overpacked everything and the actual movers were careful in moving items in and out without crashing into walls. I was very pleased with the move and will use this company when I move the remainder of my items. They were not the cheapest bidder but i could tell from recommendations and discussions with salesman that they would do a quality job and they did. Delivery of goods to San Diego was in the middle of the window they gave me.

They did fine. They came out. They were prompt and courteous. The quote was free. I will probably use them but I have not analyzed it yet.

We interviewed three local moving companies for our move from Virginia Beach to Sierra Vista AZ. Brooks Transfer and Storage is a well-oiled machine from first contact to delivery of goods. Mike Denny provided helpful information about all facets of moving during his visit to provide the estimate. We did our own box packing - Brooks handled everything else. The packers arrived on time, worked diligently and professionally. The carpets in our home were protected from foot traffic. Our furniture was handled very carefully - it was very well wrapped. Rick, our driver, negotiated the insane dirt road up to our new house without any difficulties and everything arrived in excellent condition. We had ZERO damage. The coordination of the move was very professional. We were kept well informed of the shipment's progress. I would rehire Brooks United Van Lines in a heartbeat.

I think I could have got somebody cheaper but I am not sure if I would have got the same quality. ed.

It was excellent! I would recommend this company to anyone without reservation. They are extremely professional and the crews that packed and unpacked were excellent. Not one item was broken or ruined therefore they are worth every penny.

They did a nice job of packing up all of our belongings. They were very professional and careful with all of our stuff. They moved everything without any damage to our stuff. The crew was very organized and knew what they were doing. I was very happy with the work that they did for us.

They really limited the hassle and stress of moving. They were professional and did everything they were suppose to do. I didn t have any serious damage to anything. Some minor things were missing like my Christmas tree, but didn t have any real problems. The military paid for our move.
