He arrived within the time that was specified. He was courteous, informative and true to his word. Everything went smoothly and I highly recommend this company.

I called almost every other provider on Angie's List after my downstairs toilet backed up, and no one could come out the same day...including another Angie's List Plumber w/an "A" rating that I've used extensively in the past. Blessings Plumbing responded immediately and was on site within 15 minutes. Scott was prompt, professional, and explained everything he was doing and why. He also took the time to explain what to look for the in the future, and the differences between main line back-ups/access for clearing those...and what my current issue was. I simply could not have asked for better service on a Friday afternoon. Blessings Plumbing will be the only plumber I use from now on.

Where do I begin. Finding BLESSINGS Plumbing was truly a blessing, and their technicians/plumbers are angels/saints. I had a water leak coming from the ceiling into my dining room on my first floor. Need to provide some background before I found BLESSINGS Plumbing. I had called another Plumbing company on Angies list (A rating), technician came & walked around upstairs and downstairs of my condo and determined leak was coming from a toilet upstairs that had a leaky seal. He said he would pull & replace seal ($229.93), and since the toilet was old could rebuild it and fix the seal for $489.93 or I could get a new toilet. I told him I didn't think it was the toilet, that I had had a similar leak years ago & it was coming from a leak in a pipe in the wall of my master bedroom. He said he was sure it was the toilet. So I opted for him fixing the seal which was $229.93. When he was leaving I told him water was still leaking into the first floor, he said he had flushed the toilet a few times before he fixed it so that's why it was still leaking. Leak got progressively worse. I called the company back, and said leak had gotten much worse. The individual I spoke to on the phone, said they were very busy and could schedule something for the next day, which I did. Water leak got very, very bad. Went to Angies list again to find someone else, called another A rated Plumbing company and they were booked. THEN I FOUND (Thank God!) BLESSINGS PLUMBING! Woman who answered the phone, was wonderful, understood the situation, and said they could have someone here within 30 minutes. I called the other Company and cancelled the apptment they had scheduled for me the next day. BLESSINGS Tech (Scott) arrived before 30 minutes, and realized the seriousness of the situation. It looked like my dining ceiling was going to fall in. Scott got right to work. Found the water meter which was hidden under the grass, turned the water off and started diagnosing where the leak was originating from. Scott was like a Surgeon in his diagnosis. In the meantime another Blessings Tech (Bobby) arrived with plastic to cover up my furniture, floor, etc. They both got right to work -- what a team (surgical team) in diagnosing where the leak was coming from. They were meticulous in their diagnosis and work. They had to cut a hole in my first floor ceiling, water came pouring out. Upstairs they had to cut three holes in my master bathroom wall to locate the leak (which I must say were 3 perfect squares). All the time, explaining what they were doing and why -- I learned so much. They found the leak/hole in the pipe -- hooray! Then they went and turned the water back on to make sure it was the leak -- it was. I gave them my iphone to take pictures -- in the pictures you can actually see the water spraying (3 streams) out of the hole. They then turned off the water again to repair the leak and gave me the part they cut out. Their clean up was meticulous also. I said something like don't worry about it, I'll get it. And they said they want to leave my house like they would want their house left. They told me that I was very lucky that it could of been a DISASTER with major damage! I could of had 4-5 inches of water on my first floor. Cost was $363.81 -- I would of paid them a million dollars if I could (Scott and Bobby and BLESSINGS PLUMBING are definitely worth it)! They also recommended that I contact a Restoration Company for the repair, check for mold etc. (since everything was saturated.) , which I will do. Mr. Blessings called me the next day to check on everything, if they could do anything else, etc. -- what great customer service! BLESSINGS Plumbing truly cares about their company, work, customers, service, people, etc. Wish Angies list had a higher rating than A, BLESSINGS Plumbing deserves an A++++++++. I'm going to recommend BLESSINGS Plumbing to everyone -- Why mess with the rest when you can have the best. I could of had major damage due to the previous Company's misdiagnosis. If I had called Blessings Plumbing in the first place I would of had much, much less damage (and stress that I've been through) than I have now. I will never, ever, ever use anyone but BLESSINGS Plumbing. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you Mr. Blessing, Blessings Plumbing and most of all SCOTT and BOBBY.

This is a wonderful company. First of all, last night, my mother's hot water would not turn off at the faucet in her bathtub. This caused the boiler to run continuously. I was extremely worried about any possible danger, so I called the after-hours emergency number listed on the company's webpage. The owner called me back and then proceeded to spend quite a bit of time with me over the phone, walking me through the process of shutting down the boiler and turning the hot water off, which allowed me to sleep through the night without worry. This morning, I received a call advising me of their estimated arrival time, which I appreciated. Although they were about 30 minutes late, I was fine with that because I understand how the traffic in the Tidewater area can be sometimes. Plus...I was happy that they were even able to come out that quickly. Once they arrived, the owner, Craig Blessing, went over the repair work that would be done in a very professional manner. The plumber, Mat, was very efficient, polite and even took his shoes off each time he came in the front door. The repairs were made in a professional, timely manner with no surprises. I can't say enough good things, and we will definitely be contacting this company again in the future!

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it was amazing; they did a great job. They were easy to schedule and were on time. They completed the job and hauled away all the old stuff. I could hardly tell they were there, other than the fact that when I walked into my garage I had a new water heater. It was good.

Mat was on time,professional and did quality work. We will use again when necessary.

Discovering a lot of plumbing problems that were causing damage was stressful, but the professionals Craig sent out were relaxed and inspired confidence. They explained everything they were doing and everything that was wrong. When work on one of the toilets turned out to be a bigger job than expected, the guys had to come back the next day and work 2 more hours cutting out and installing a new pipe, but they didn't charge me more than was quoted the day before. I'm pretty confident these plumbers know what they are doing and that the work they did will last.

the faucet was repaired rather than replaced which really pleased me and kept the cost down. Wonderful service including taking off his shoes in the house!

I arrived home on Sunday( 4/7/2013 from a camping trip) and immediately smelled gas. I placed a call to VA Natural Gas, they came out found the problem, red tagged my meter and turned off my gas. Advised to contact a plumber, and told me approx cost so I would know what to expect. I advised I was an Angie's List member, and he said, "well, there you go" I went on Angie's List to search for a reliable, trustworthy plumber. And placed a call to Blessing's. (the name is what caught my attention....) the VA Natural Gas tech said it might be a 2-3 days process. Well, initially when I called Blessing's, I was told they could get out by Wednesday, but Ms. Mary, the receptionist must've heard panic in my voice. She put Mr. Blessing on the phone, he explained the process, and got someone out to me that same day. By the next day, ALL had been resolved. AND the plumber came back out with the city inspector to check the repairs prior to VA Natural Gas coming back out to restore my gas. I have this company's info saved in my contacts. Thanks Angies' List!

They were on time. They called to confirm that they were coming. The pricing was right. They found a couple of things that I wasn't aware of and they took care of it without charging me.

I have to tell you they were SO VERY PLEASANT, PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENT! My renters loved all of them, they worked around their schedule. When they were finished the children gave them flowers and a drawing to put on their refrigerator. :o) Yes, I have awesome renters............I am totally blessed. I also want to let Angie's List know that I contacted Norfolk Plumbing and Elite Plumbing for estimates. Norfolk Plumbing never returned my request and Elite Plumbing could not have cared less after I called them twice and only get a very negative response in the end. I am glad there is an Angie's List, two totally dud plumbers and a shining example of what a first class plumbing company should be in Blessing Plumbing. Thank You

They came out two hours after I called which i thought was great for a weekend service call. The price was steep but I guess that is to be expected up front. They were quick explained everything they were going to do before they did. I would use them again defiantly.

Very professional service, Im very happy with their ability to track down the issues with our sewer system that previous companies haven't been able to. They kept me informed during the entire process which I appreciated very much and left everything the way they found it. They were also very prompt with their services.

I feel very frustrated. He did a super job unclogging my sink, but now I have a similar problem in the other sink he worked on with the faucet. His reasoning for it being to expensive, but since I've had several other of them replaced it didn't make sense to me. He did come in a timely manner and he did call before he came which I thought was amazing because most service providers show up when they want.

He is very punctual and responsive. He always tells you what he's doing or what has to be done if he can not fix it.

After an unsatisfactory visit by AAA American who offered an incorrect diagnosis and an exorbitant cost to effect repairs that woulds NOT have corrected the problem, Blessings plumber took the time to assess the situation, rule out possible leak sources, properly determine source of leak and took appropriate and much less costly corrective action. Blessings gets a thumbs up, AAA American - a never call again.

They are very good and reliable. They will come immediately. They are the company we have used.

I don't know if they are on Angie's List or not. They were very prompt and very nice. They called the next day to make sure that everything was okay with it. Normally my husband would have figured that out, but I just think he wanted a second opinion or something and then we had them fix it. The price was reasonable. They were courteous. They cleaned up, which makes them neat. Everything worked perfectly after they left so we were satisfied. As far as price, we didn't have anybody else come out. We have used them for many things over the years so they are the only people that we called. The quality was fine.
