I purchased a coupon worth $350 for hardwood floor resurfacing of 360 sqft and $1.75 per sqft above 360 sqft. The estimated cost for resurfacing 454 square feet of hardwood floor, based upon the stated value of the coupon, should have been $514.50. The estimate provided by the contractor for 454 sqft of refurbishing (vice resurfacing) was at $4.00/sqft for a total of $1816.00. The estimate included a discount of only $300 vice $350. When I got them on the phone, they explained that there was another coupon and that I had purchased the wrong one. They also tried to explain that the "true" value of the coupon was only $300 vice $350. I called Angie's List and requested a refund for the coupon.

Anderson Flooring completely redid my bamboo hardwood flooring , which had been grossly incorrectly installed by Browne Floors & More in December 2014. It had been installed in a stair-step pattern, which voided the product warranty, had also been installed with several broken boards (floating click-together floor) and they had not leveled the concrete slab properly, resulting in many very bad low and high spots causing broken boards and terribly loud squeaks in the floor. Ryan Anderson came in and let me know exactly what was wrong with the floor and gave a very fair estimate. He sent Brad, his best installer, to do the work and he did a fantastic job. The slab was very uneven and "wavy", one of the worst he'd seen in 11 years, and he did a stellar job carefully repairing every area and making a solid foundation for the floor to go back down. Brad did a wonderful job, was always calm and pleasant and I could not be happier with the floor. I know it was a tough job and they fixed all the problems and it looks and feels great. Use Anderson Flooring and you will not be sorry. They are honest, straightforward and highly skilled and truly strive to make the customer happy. I have recommended them to friends and will continue to do so in the future.

We left on 10th of April on vacation. We returned on April 20 & job was finished. Floors were beautiful & price was excellent. Some furniture had to be moved the following & Anderson was very helpful & had men at house as promised. Excellent service.

I had a Monday afternoon appt. I called to confirm and then no one shows up. I call and ask where the estimator is, they say that they will call and check. No one gets back to me. I call again (by now it is 6 PM). I get their answering service who tells me that they will page the technician to my number. Nothing. Next day I speak to Ryan and he tells me that they don't do estimates on Monday and that his office staff isn't aware of that fact. The whole experience was amateurish. I think that I will spend my money elsewhere.

I love these people. They were professional, yet friendly. They were prompt. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. I am very pleased with what they did. I have since referred them to my sister to have some flooring done. I would highly recommend them. Ryan Anderson is great.

Ryan Anderson is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and I enjoyed working with him on my flooring project. His installation team was also very friendly, punctual, and responsive to correcting problems to my satisfaction. The carpet installation was the best experience of the three flooring types. The crew was in and out in about a couple hours and the floor looked great. The laminate floor installation went pretty well. I had a couple of small issues that had to be corrected but they were fixed in a timely fashion. We attempted to install the tile floors in my bathrooms and the laminate floors in the hall and family room at the same time which created some issues with protecting the floors while the tile work was done. The tile floor in one of my bathrooms was the main problem area on this project. My estimated one week project turned into a one month project due to issues with this tile floor in my bathroom. The tiles were grossly missaligned and I had to get the tile guy to retile that room twice to make it acceptable. Tile work is messy and these guys did not put much effort into protecting flooring that was being kept or into cleaning up thin set that had splattered on the walls. To their credit, they were more than willing to redo thier work and they did stick with the job in a punctual manor until it was completed to my satisfaction. The owner said that my experience on this project was an anomaly for this tile crew. But based on this one experience I could not recommend the tile work to a friend. I have done tile work myself and had it done by others that went much more smoothly. So overall it was a good experience and perhaps I was just unlucky with the tile work.

Refinished the remaining downstairs hardwood flooring with the repaired flooring. Approximately 1000 sqft of flooring.

They were responsive to coming out and setting up the appointment. Overall, the job they did was okay. There were things they could have done but did not do even though they were pointed out prior to the final finishes. They did not meet my expectations. I felt I should have received a better deal for what I paid for.

Finished work is beautiful! They refinished our existing wood floors to match our newly installed wood floors- and it looks great. Especially good with detail work (such as finishing around our fireplace and around our kitchen appliances). However, they rarely arrived in the morning on time

Anderson's was absolutely wonderful from the first contact to the final buffing. They went far beyond my expectations as the floors they refinished were quite damaged. The rest of the hardwood floors in my house have some wear and tear. Anderson's highly capable technicians told me they could be brough back to life with a buff and seal and that it would take only one day. I am VERY pleased with the service and the quality of the work.

I was told that an estimator would be in the Williamsburg area for another job 8 to 10 days from the date of my call and an appointment was scheduled for that date at 11 AM after his first appointment of the day. On the scheduled date, I was called by another person in the office to say that they would not be able to keep the appointment. When I explained that the basis for the appointment time suggested by the company was that the estimator would already be in Williamsburg, I was told that they did not know where the estimator was on that particular day and that the cancellation was based on the fact that they do not do simple repair jobs. So, even though I had fully explained the nature of the work to the person that answered the phone on my first call, it was now company policy to not do repair jobs. No other reason was given. Definitely not professional and a waste of my time. The recent bad weather was not a factor.

Very friendly, professional and attention to detail is great. If you are concerned about hiring a contractor to install flooring of anytime, stop looking and call Anderson Flooring.

This was my second time using Anderson, they do great work. I was very please at the out come of my floors. I did not realize what I had under that carpet could look so good. I would highly recommend and I tell everyone about them. They also moved my furniture and put it back. Great price for great work.

When I first called I left a message for Ryan and he called back shortly there after and invited us to his showroom to look at examples. During our visit to the showroom Ryan asked some questions to best direct us in the product we needed. We had wanted a wide plank and had no idea that since our home is on a crawl space it would be best to go with engineered wood. We selected 4 samples and Dwayne, who is a foreman, brought them by a few hours later. While we checked out the samples Dwayne measured the areas to be addressed. We made our selection and Ryan ordered the wood which arrived the next day and was delivered to the our home to allow the wood to acclimate to the environment. The following week the floors were installed. The workers were polite, answered any questions, didn't seem to mind us watching while they worked. There were 2 pieces of wood that looked out of place and the crew had no problem pulling them up and using them in the closets. They cleaned up everyday and when the work was completed they were exceptionally fussy about making our rooms look like they were " show rooms ". We paid a little extra to have the crew move the furniture around but found that to be well worth the expense. Everything we were told in the initial phone call and in the visit to the showroom was followed through on. Ryan called everyday to check on progress and make sure we we happy with everything. It was perfect and he was great. The work was very good. The scheduling was perfect. They got the job done in about 2 days. They installers were excellent.

It was good. Their prices were good. My experience with them was enjoyable. I'll deal with them again and I would recommend them. They were punctual and very professional.

I was exceptionally pleased with the entire procedure and the final results. The crew displayed professional workmanship throughout each phase of the installation. Removing the old flooring and removing the glue from the concrete was more than tedious. It was very strenuous and difficult to do but was accomplished in a timely manner.. The actual installation of the flooring was completed to perfection and in a short period of time. I highly recommend Anderson Flooring and I would definitely opt for their service in the future.

A lot of exceptions for this deal that I found out when I went to the company to purchase flooring which I had wanted carpet. The wording was not made clear in the advertised deal. They wanted to sell me hardwood flooring and I needed carpet so I lost my $300. and haven't purchased anything else since. Very upset about the whole thing.

Replaced part of my wood flooring with carpet. They accidentally cracked one of my ceramic tiles in an adjacent room when removing the old T-molding and had to replace it with a tile that wasn't exactly identical with the existing tiles. To their credit, they did spend a great deal of time looking for an exact match.

They were awesome and did an awesome job. Their price was far better than the other company that we contacted. They only took a third upfront for the contract, then another third when he was through and then the last payment wasn’t until we were totally satisfied. They were here on time and they did everything that they said they would. They cleaned up afterwards. There was some dust and they paid to have someone come to dust the walls and clean. They did a good job. They didn’t want the total money upfront like the other company wanted. They moved furniture and took care of stains. In the end we added two other rooms. They came back and redid anything that I wasn’t satisfied with.

They did a great job for us. The work was very well done. It was one day when they had a schedule issue. He tried to find out where people were because they couldn't find anybody but otherwise, we didn't have any problems. They got done very quickly. I think they are reasonably priced.

Anderson Flooring was great. They were very upfront about how much it would cost, the quality that would be expected, and the time it would take to complete. There were a few spots they found with water damage and did great job making it look as good as possible. I would definitely recommend them.
