They have been wonderful to work with so far. All the questions that I had about their estimate, they had answered very clearly so that I understood everything. I changed things two or three times and they've been very accommodating. They were very helpful when I went to pick out the floor. They suggested a less expensive option than what I wanted but still worked. They weren't trying to get the most money out of me that they could. They were very budget-conscious. They are going to do the job that we've already discussed and they have given me an estimate for another one.

Ryan is knowledgeable, experienced, no pressure, just explains what everything is, the pros and cons and qualities of all the different types of flooring and doesn't lead you or push you. He has a line he uses "High Expectation flooring" and after learning of the different products, and seeing our floor installed we couldn't agree more. Ryan pointed out all the differences that mattered to us and as such we chose a far superior product than we had been looking for and worked with our numbers to make it work for us. Far superior to all the other flooring people we talked to. The install crew was running a bit later than expected due to needing some extra supplies for our install, and Ryan called and let us know the status. When the crew showed up, they got set up, moved our furniture and covered everything. They were very professional and never stopped working until the install was completed. They worked all the way past lunch and dinner, moved everything back where it needed to be and cleaned up well. So far we couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend Anderson Flooring. We hired the company to install flooring in our entire house; cork in the living area and tile in the bathrooms. The guys that came to our house were so professional, personable, and great about explaining what they were doing and what they needed from us. I am extremely impressed with this company.

I called Anderson Flooring for a quote. Duane came out to do the measuring and quote. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of advice. I received a quote on tiling my floor and redoing stair and railing. I was told by a prior company that my stairs could not be changed from carpet to wood so I was very glad that Duane told me different. I decided to only get the flooring done for now. The install crew arrived everyday on time and was very professional and helpful. I love the outcome of my flooring and I will be using the company again to do my stairs and more flooring. The installer used stain pine to make custom door thresholds that are simply beautiful. Anderson Flooring's quote was also the lowest out of 6 quotes I received.

I haven't seen the floors myself (house is currently vacant), but I am told by friends that they look beautiful. There were some rooms with heavily damaged floors and even those look good. What was most impressive was the outstanding advice and communication provided by Ryan. His estimate came in at about what I expected and the service exceeded my expectations in all respects.

Went very smoothly. I was under a timeline to have the flooring installed in a very short window of opportunity between closing and move in date. Ryan was very easy to work with, professional and helpful with suggestions on what would work best. He and his crew were prompt, met my timelines and the end result speaks for their quality. All floors look beautiful. Would definitely use again.

This is the SECOND time I have used Anderson Flooring for two different homes. Ryan is professional and responsive. His crew is very professional. I am most impressed by the "little things" that require expert craftsmanship. The quarter round is stained to match the floor and the angles are cut exactly. On both homes, the raised entry had to be "framed" at the step edge. Both homes were beautifully done. When I walk into each home, I admire the workmanship all over again. All the basics: punctuality, consideration of furniture, clean up, politeness of the crew were exceptional. I will definitely use Anderson Flooring again.

They were on time. Started and finished the hard wood in one day, with one guy having to come back the second time to put in the transition piece between the floor in the hallway and the new floor.. The carpet ended up being a two day job because we have very heavy and large furniture and there were only two carpet guys. They were respectful, clean, and pleasant guys. They made sure no damage was done to my home. Cleaned up after themselves. We are super happy and glad we chose them. Angie?s list helped us again to pick a good company.

Anderson Flooring did a fantastic job bringing back the beauty of our 100 year old floors. We didn't expect them to look as good as they did and we're so happy we decided to invest in professional refinishing. We had initially planned on refinishing the wood ourselves to save money and had actually contacted Anderson Flooring for a tile job in our kitchen. We had a meeting with them to sign the contract for the tile job and got talking about wood and decided to see how much the wood would cost instead. The estimate for tile for just the kitchen (where we didn't think we could save the wood) was about $2400 and the estimate for repairing the wood in the kitchen and elsewhere and refinishing the wood throughout the whole first floor was about $3400, so it was a no brainer to bring them in to do the wood instead. We later added the second floor and the stairs to our contract when my husband realized that trying to DIY the project was a little too much for him. And because he had already sanded the whole second floor, they gave us a much appreciated discount. The work did take about 2 weeks longer than planned, which was a bit disruptive to our project schedule. But it wasn't anything we could blame them for. The species of wood in our home is hard to find, so finding replacement boards was a challenge. There were also a few other issues they ran into just because the floors were so old and and they wanted to take their time and get it right. By and large we're happy with the end result and would definitely recommend them for refinishing wood floors. It was a stretch for our tight budget, but it was worth every penny.

The service went well. I was not home while they did the service. The salesman was very friendly. He was very responsive and great at following up with me. They were honest with me and did not push unnecessary services. I really appreciated that. The floors turned out well. I had no problem scheduling the service.

It went excellently well. Ryan, the owner is intimately involved in all aspects of the jobs and if the customer has a question or concern, he will be on the phone immediately. His tradesmen are really good at what they do, and they have a lead on each job. They arrive consistently at about the time they indicated they would (they go pick up their equipment and supplies every morning before they head to the job site), and they explain what they are doing at each step. They know how difficult this process is and the do their best to minimize the impact. The only difference in the expected end date and the actual was one day, and I would say that is because of the really angular and difficult cuts in the kitchen. They did a great job and I enjoyed working with them.

First they arrived a day later than originally agreed. The kitchen installation of new hardwood did not go well. It required moving the appliances. The wood was thicker than the old wood that was removed and there were many height and appliance resetting issues. This should have been foreseen. The refrigerator was moved about and, in the process, was dented in the front door and side. A week or so after the work was done the refrigerator started acting up with temperatures going up and down and then it totally failed. A technician said the sealed system had a leak somewhere, probably in the lines running along the sides of the cabinet, and that they were inaccessible and could not be fixed. The refrigerator had to be replaced. So, I suspect that the damage was done to the refrigerator in moving it which resulted in failure although it cannot be proven. The Refrigerator was only 4 1/2 year old. Similarly, the dishwasher, apparently, was not reset properly back in the cabinet and a guest unfamiliar with the force required to open the dishwasher broke the facial plate by using excessive force to open it. The facial plate had to be replaced by me for a cost of $150 and I reset the dishwasher. The floor refinishing was well done in the kitchen, but in the living room, the coloring of the finish varies from a nice maple clear finish to yellow in spots along the edge near the walls and in the center of the floor. The refinishing job we did about 10 years ago on the same floor was uniform and done much better.

I could have not had a better experience. From day one, Ryan spent the time to educate me on the wide range of flooring possibilities to the onsite survey which was very detailed. The installation, literally my entire house went smoothly on time and on budget. They even worked extremely well with other contractors who were doing work inside my house. They quite simply exceeded my expectations. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants quality professional flooring. I truly enjoyed working with them.

Professional and easy to deal with from quote to finished product. We secured quotes from a total of four contractors. Anderson seemed to be best for quality and knowledge and their work-product thankfully proved we picked the right provider. The installer had to visit the house four times after the estimate visit to install, stain, and apply the correct amount of protective coatings. He was excellent. We are very happy with the results and intend to use them in the future. We built the house in 2005 and did not elect to have hardwood in this room (the builder price at the time was $2,100.00)...the 2,500 we paid nearly ten years later for a single-room job seems reasonable, given what it would have cost originally. We are very satisfied (impressed) with the quality of Anderson's work...and we are particular about craftsmanship and quality of work done on our house.

They did a very good job of installing the floor. It was excellent work! The price was fine.

Very happy with Anderson Flooring. Ryan was very good at communicating and tracking the progress of the project. This was a two week project that only went about a day over. I was very happy the first day where they were able to do the entire kitchen flooring. We had full use of the kitchen during the project. Some tile was cracked near the fireplace accidentally by a installer, he immediately told me, and repaired it at no additional charge the next day (worked out because I had extra tile from a previous project!) Very good group of installers. It has been over a year now and the doors look great, actually just sold the house in <2 months! I would definitely recommend Anderson Flooring, who I found through Angie's List.

Great !!! The Owner (Ryan Anderson) was courteous and knowledgeable, he helped guide us through the best practical choices for the space. His Crew (Estimator Dwaye, Installers James, Chico and Eric) were very nice respectful men who were diligent and thorough. The job went on schedule with no real difficulties. A few 'thirty five year old house' surprises (uneven floor, etc) were discovered but they were solved by the installation crew. My Wife and I are very satisfied and would recommend Anderson Flooring!!

He advised us to get a refund and that the owner would call with an estimate for the type of service our floors would require. We have not heard from him yet.

Anderson Flooring responded promptly after I bought the deal and we set up a date and time for an estimate. Estimator arrived promptly and proceeded to evaluate the condition of the floor and then walk through all recommended actions to refinish the floor. He explained that my floors required refinishing (needed sanding and resurfacing) vice resurfacing (no sanding) and that therefore the Angie's list Big Deal did not apply and I should get a refund. I haven't received the estimate for services yet, but, I was impressed by the thoroughness with which he explained what was needed, the products involved, and the process.

The estimate provided was not for the work described in the coupon. The coupon value was $350 for resurfacing of 360 sqft of hardwood floor, $1.75/sqft above 360. The contractor provided an estimate for "refinishing" vice "resurfacing" at $4.00/sqft. The estimate provided only $300 discount vice $350. When I called, they tried to explain to the the "true" value was only $300. They also said that I had purchased the "wrong" coupon, but that there was another coupon at the same value. Dissatisfied with the estimate and unclear communication from the contractor, I've requested a refund.
