Everything went very well. I had three companies come out and give me a price. Shenandoah's price was higher but our roof had a lot of "issues" and after a few conversations with Glenn, I felt we communicated well and my level of trust was good. We have dormers, a low pitch addition, a very high pitch front, as well as an old chimney and skylites, and there was some trimwork that was a mess. I was around a lot, up on the roof asking questions, and the crew was good about all that. The other thing to mention is that Shenandoah did not use nail guns. For various reasons they hand nailed the shingles. They were also great about cleaning up, so it was about as good of an experience as you can have on a project like this.

My experience with Shenandoah Home Improvements was excellent. From the estimate/presentation to the completion of the job, Glenn Lilly and his team did a wonderful job. I would especially like to point out the fact that I was under strict time constraints when it came to the date of completion, and Glenn did not just assure me that the job would be done on time; he followed through! His foreman, Roger, (who was also great) after discovering that the fascia was rotted out replaced it on a Sunday! The folks Glenn uses to install the gutters were also fantastic. While Shenandoah may not be the cheapest option out there, the quality is well worth the cost! I strongly recommend Shenandoah Home Improvements, and I would certainly use this company again.

It went well an will receive an estimate on my kitchen and bathroom as well. Came out and checked the roof with complete inspection. Did a good job!

The estimate experience went well. Mr. Lilly was very knowledgeable and had some good input. He will write an estimate out, and will email it to you as well. He provided samples of the shingles he used he uses two types, Owens Corning and RKO, a whopping $100 cheaper. My only discontent was that when I was down to 2 roofing companies to decide on, I couldn't get any price flexibility even when Shenandoah wasn't giving me the same quality guard as the other roofing company I went with. Glenn had been very persistent in trying to get my business leading up to this, but when it came down to it, I couldn't get any measurable flexibility from him. There was a $700 difference in price and he only came down $250. That was only after giving me a lower quality shingle.

I had a leak and they discovered that a tree branch had gotten wedged up under some shingles. They cleaned all around it and fixed it. Even though this was a very small job, they were very responsive when I called and came out that week to fix. They have always been very professional to work with and Glen Lily is very friendly and always helpful.

We desperately needed our old roof replaced this winter. Glenn and his team were able to come during a lull in the snow/freezing temps and got the job done in 2 1/2 days. They tore off the old roof and hauled it away, replaced some bad wood (less than what I expected), and installed the new roof, including hand-nailing all of the shingles. It looks great! They were very careful in cleaning up, I have yet to see any nails or debris leftover in the yard. Glenn was very upfront and helpful in describing what needed to be done, gave us 2 quotes, one for just repair work and one for a total roof replacement. The guys were all friendly and professional. Best of all the price came in $1500-$2500 less than the other quotes I received, I was a little nervous about going with the lowest bid but we definitely made the best decision. Recommended with confidence!

Very good, they hauled all debris away, it looks good. The only problem was they didn't get all the nails in the yard, though I don't know if that is really possible.

They're very personable, we asked a lot of questions about the home and you can tell they like what they do and were very good at it. They were very professional, very quick and the price was just really good. We felt so comfortable with him, asking questions. He then would recommend things to us, that he wasn't charging us for, that we could do to our home so we wouldn't have to hire someone to do it. He told us basically where to put our money. We already have plans for future projects.

The owner, Glenn Lilly, returned our call promptly, scheduled a visit, showed up on time, then promptly sent us an estimate. Work was scheduled within a few weeks. Crew arrived on time, worked quietly and efficiently, finishing in a timely manner, with a thorough cleanup and disposal of waste. During the recent hurricane winds none of the shingles dislodged!

I chose them after they roofed my neighbor's house. They did an excellent job. The oral quote and the written quote ended up being $1200 less than the total charge; in other words, I signed a contract and the final price was $1200 more than the written contract.

Very well. The price was, I thought, remarkably good for archtiectural Owens Corning shingles. The job was completed in just over three days. A few sheets of plywood were replaced, but I was able to see all of them and the need to replace them was obvious. This was a point I was concerned about, since you really can't tell how much plywood was going to need to be replaced and the roof was about 30 years old. The fact that only 4 were replaced speaks well, I think, for the honesty of Mr. Lilly and his crew. Any questions I had were answered immediately and the crew was courteous and cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Having roofing work done is by it's nature a somewhat intrusive undertaking, but I feel this job was done as professionally and pleasantly as possible. I would use Shenandoah Home Improvement again for any similar work around my house.

They took off my old roof and put a new one on. Also, they put up four sets of shutters for me. On the roof, they got everthing flashed properly as well as fixing chimney issues I had. I was very pleased, everything went well. Everything was done in three days.
