Very prompt, quick to figure out problem and had parts with him. All together a very good experience. Also, checked to make sure there was no further leaks after part replaced

Technician was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He quickly diagnosed the problem, provided an estimate and had the replacement part available to complete the repair. I was very pleased with the technician and the quality of the work. I am unhappy about the cost given the labor effort (approximately 1.25 hours) and the price of the replacement part (approximately $22). Perhaps there was an additional charge for the labor given the holiday schedule, however the technician was not able to give me a breakdown of the $285 charge between parts/labor. Better transparency into what the homeowner is actually paying for would be a nice addition to an otherwise solid repair job.

Exceptional service and knowledge of the problem. Friendly and helpful. Willing to provide explanations of the cause and resolution of the problem. The technician replaced a heater element in the freezer, defrosted the freezer (behind the covering of the frost-free partition), washed the parts of the freezer that were removed, and left everything in excellent condition. The cost of $249 seemed reasonable, but I have no means of comparison. Overall excellent service!

Called them around 8:30 in the morning and was given a 4 hour window for that same day. They called when he was on his way so I could leave work and meet their technician at my home. Al was waiting when i got there and in a couple minutes figured out what the problem was. He got a quote from his office in a couple of minutes,and had all the necessary parts in his van so he could begin repairs immediately. He completely the repair quickly, tested it with me to be sure it was working correctly and gave me some advice to stretch the live of my old washer. He was very nice and professional. I will use them for all future repairs i may need.

They were amazing! Anyone would have said that I needed a new dishwasher but he was willing to look at the issue and repair it. He was able to repair the issue and even said if we were still having anymore problems, he would come back out. I have recommended to him to so many people and we were very pleased.

I discovered water leaking from the refrigerator onto the kitchen floor August 10th. The refrigerator has a ice maker, so I suspected that was the source of the leak. I contacted Vienna Appliance Thursday morning, August 11th and the receptionist said a technician could be at my house between 2 and 4 PM the same day. Al arrived within the 2-4 PM window and diagnosed the problem as a faulty valve that regulates the water supply to the ice maker. Fortunately he had a replacement valve in his truck and was able to complete the repair and replace a portion of the supply line between the water filter and refrigerator in less than 45 minutes. This is the second time I've used Vienna Appliance and I've been very satisfied with their prompt, courteous service on both occasions.

Terrific service. Not an easy job to work on because our washer and dryer are built in under a counter. Alan and J.D. arrived, and together worked to get the dryer out from under the counter in order to service it. Turned out it was the computer board. Alan called the office and ordered the part immediately (both he and J.D. were very sympathetic about my having been without a dryer for several days with laundry piling up!) and was able to confirm a delivery date. The replacement board came in a day early, so they called and made an earlier appointment to install it. Alan installed it. Courteous and knowledgeable. The dryer is working beautifully again!

We’ve used them on a number of jobs in the past. We particularly like one of their employees, Al. We’ve always found him to be very responsive and straight. If there is something that isn’t worth repairing, they tell us and they don’t sell us new equipments; so it costs them the job, so to speak. We’ve always been very their straightforwardness, responsiveness and their honesty.

Vienna Appliance is a dream to work with. Small family-owned firm. Al, the serviceman, is great. He had visited us about a year ago for refrigerator repair and refused to touch it because the problem was with the sealed system and if he did the work it would invalidate our warranty. But he was so experienced he could tell immediately what was wrong (as opposed to all the less experienced, salaried repairmen from larger companies with less training who kept trying to tell us something else.) Because of Al's advice, we were able to insist on the proper repair and got through that process much more quickly. When the dishwasher broke, I knew he was the guy to call. They came the day after the machine was broke, he had the part with him, and he was finished with the entire project in under an hour. He is also full of all kinds of useful information about appliances, which is always interesting. I highly recommend this organization --polite, professional, and really good work!

The tech arrived on time and was very professional. He determined the problem fairly quickly and gave me a quote for a new motor, with the $65 paid that day going to the repair if I choose to have it repaired. I thought the estimate was fair, but for just a little more money, we could get a new dishwasher, which is what we choose to do.

I called at about 8:30 am and spoke with the receptionist. She scheduled an appointment to have someone come out between 10 and noon. The technician arrived at about 11:30. He was very polite and courteous. He looked over the fridge for about 5 minutes, then let me know the defroster mechanism wasn't working. He went to his truck for a few minutes to make some calls about the necessary parts. He said the parts for our fridge are no longer available, since we purchased it right before Maytag went out of business. He had contacted quite a few people to attempt to locate the parts, and was unsuccessful. He said he would try a few things to see if he could get it to to start, but it wasn't successful. He recommended purchasing a new unit, and make a suggestion for a way to manually defrost it in the meantime to extend the life of the current unit until we're able to purchase and receive a new one. While I wish he could have fixed the fridge, I was happy with the experience. I felt he was very open and honest about our options.

The technician came at the time they quoted with the price the quoted. The technician did have difficulty with the install and called for help. Another technician came to assist. They spent three hours with no additional charge. When I called to schedule the repair they gave me options and explained the process and the possible costs involved. They also accommodated my schedule on short notice

Great. I called vendors on a Saturday, not expecting anybody could service us that same day. But he was available and came out on his way to another job. Courteous and helpful, encouraged me to hang out and watch so he could explain stuff as he worked. A great overall experience -- and most importantly, I didn't have to replace the dishwasher.

They came and diagnosed the problem the day we called. Clearly explained what was going on. Ordered the part. Came back out to install in the time window they had told us. Very knowledgeable about refrigerators/freezers in general including best brands to purchase from a maintenance standpoint. Somewhat more expensive than the first people we called but I'm happy to pay a little extra for the good service.

I used the dealer's repair service to fix a leak in my old, reliable Maytag washer (but it took three trips). After that repair the machine started "walking" and the load was always off balance. Two more trips from the dealer's repair people failed to resolve the problem. I called Vienna Appliance and Al called me back. I told him what the problem was and he said that once a machine starts walking it is almost impossible to stop and it was probably time for a new machine. I asked him to come out anyway since their service call was quite reasonable and I really wanted to keep my Maytag. He came out in a couple of days and found that the machine was leaking transmission oil over the floor and sliding on it. None of thedealer's repairmen mentioned it although it was plain to see. Al cleaned up the oil which did help the "walking" somewhat but the time had come to definitely replace the washer. I would use Vienna Appliance again. Al was polite, professional, and knew his stuff.

Person on phone polite; sent out someone the next day; he arrived when scheduled and was very professsional. After identifying the problem as the timer, told us it would need to be ordered and gave us a price. We discussed pros and cons of a new machine instead but decided to have the repair. As soon as the part came in they came back and did the repair, The original $65 service fee was applied to the cost of having the work done. Throughout all of the employees were a pleasure to deal with.

The technician arrived on time. He was very pleasant and honest. He didn't find anything that needed to be fixed after he checked very thoroughly. I was very impressed.

They were great. Absolutely the nicest people to do business with. They showed up when they said they would and even gave me a "heads up" call to let me know they were on the way (which I requested). It took a week to complete but Al told me when he did the estimate that the c-clamp was a special order and might take a while. When Chad did the repair a week later he was prompt and pleasant. He even swept up!!!! These guys are great! I wish they did plumbing, electrical, HVAC -- I'd hire them for everything I needed. Thanks guys!

They gave me an appointment for the next day and technician showed up int he timeframe promised, after calling me a few minutes ahead as requested. He charged me the minimu fee and gave a a couple of options to proceed since he couldnt identify exact cause(s) of the problem withouth pulling the appliance out and he needed another person to help with it, as well as an electrician to do some wiring work. I though over the options and called him back for the additional repair which he performed in a very competent manner and was very flexible with the timing of his second trip back. He seemed to know his job well. I would definitely use this company again for any future appliance repairs,though I hope I will not have toom many reasons to

The overall experience with Vienna Appliance was very positive. On my first call I was greeted by a very pleasant and helpful receptionist. They were able to send somone the day I called and gave me a 4 hour window. Technician arrived within two hours of the window and was very capable and professional. I estimate the work was completed in about two hours. I selected this company based on the Angieslist reviews and was not disappointed.

Individual from Vienna Applicance came to look at our broken ice maker. Explained the problem and showed me where the problem occurred. I felt the person was knowledgeable about the problem. I did not elect to get the ice maker fixed because it was over $300. He did not pressure me to fix the ice maker.
