My drier quit working -- spun but didn't heat. Called on Friday around 4pm and they were able to send somebody the next day (Saturday!). The repairman appeared on time and was the legendary Al that you can read about in other reports on this company. Well he was just as good for me as with other customers. The drier problem was a faulty gas valve. It wasn't easily apparent either, because the defective one worked for a few minutes and then would quit -- so at first everything looked fine. Al had no problem diagnosing and fixing it. Somehow he had the part in his truck. The whole thing took only maybe 20 minutes. I asked him if was worth repairing and he said it was -- gas driers last a long time I guess. (He did say my dishwasher washer should be replaced.) Anyway Al was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He took pride in his work. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. I can't imagine calling anybody else.

Overall, this was a very positive experience. The office person who handled the call was pleasant and professional and was able to make an appointment for the next morning. The repair person, Al, was on time and a pleasure to deal with. Although the part ordinarily would have had to been ordered, leaving us with a non-functioning refrigerator over the weekend, he recalled that there was a fan motor on another repair person's truck and tracked him down to find it.

The technician suspected that the problem with my washer was a failure in the electronic board. He tested it and re-tested it, encouraging me to observe the process, especially when he was becoming convinced that it was going to be a major expense to replace it. Since it was late in the day, he even called a source in an earlier time zone to get a price quote. On hearing the cost of replacing the electronics (over $400), he suggested we consider buying a new washer "with knobs" since a mechanical problem is much easier and cheaper to repair than an electronic one. (We have since followed his advice). He also then took a good look at the fan switch for my cook top and very quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He charged us the minimum required by his company and actually apologized for not being able to fix the washer!

Couldn't be better. Called Hannah. Told her the problem and that I got her business name from Angie's list. She arranged appointment for Al to take a look. He showed in the time frame agreed on. Very personable young man. Spotted the problem right away. Charged for the service call and advised the charge would be applied to cost of new icemaker. He said he would call when the part arrived. About 2-3 days later, he called and came over and installed the new icemaker. He said he would come over immediately if the icemaker does not go through it's cycles properly. Everything works fine.

I called the company at 8:00 in the am and they said someone would be here between 8:30 and 12:30 that day. At 8:40 the repairman, Al, arrived and checked the refrigerator and immediately knew what the problem was. He went to his truck and said that he had the starter for the refrigerator in his truck!! What luck! He then proceeded to replace the part and put back all of the drawers for me inside the refrigerator. He was professional and personable.

They were terrific! It appears to be a small operation and, as a result, you could always reach an actual human being and those who were reached were knowledgeable, courteous and accountable. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

They came the same day I called, ordered parts, and returned 2 days later when the parts were received. Technician was courteous, friendly, and cleaned up after himself. Overall, was as easy as these types of experiences can be. I have finally found an appliance repair company I am comfortable to refer my friends to, and one which I will definitely use again.

A very pleasant experience. The repairman, Al, was polite and efficient, and would have been willing to leave the work undone had I decided it was time for a new dishwasher. When he saw the high quality of the new(one year old) motor, he agreed that the repair would be worthwhile. Another huge plus: they were able to come on the same day as I called. Bravo!

Vienna Appliance is awesome. They are responsive, professional and extremely competent. When I called to make an appointment and explained the problem, Hannah got Al (repair man) on the phone and he told me what the problem probably was and a rough estimate. When he came out he was on time (within the 4 hour window) was correct about the problem and fixed it promptly. When he was there he saw that our microwave handle was broken and gave me an estimate to fix that also.

From the prompt scheduling of my service call through the repair of my refrigerator/freezer, my experience with Vienna Appliance was excellent. My old fridge/ freezer broke down 4 days before Thanksgiving. The earliest the vendor was able to send a repair person was the day after Thanksgiving. I found Vienna Appliance on Angie's List on Monday. They sent Al and his colleague out that afternoon and they speedily diagnosed and fixed the problem. They were very professional, friendly, and accommodating and answered my questions about why the problem had occurred and the chances of it happening again.

The repairman came out the same day I called for service. He showed up on time and was very courteous, very competent, and they repaired the refrigerator. Before he left, I explained that the refrigerator was hot on the top. Even though he had completed the repair, he took the back off the refrigerator and found a piece of cardboard blocking a fan necessary to cool the refrigerant. He removed the cardboard and the fan started working. I would certainly recommend Vienna Appliance Sales and Service.

Called at 8:15 a.m, phone was answered by a person and an appointment was set for later that same day. Technician came at the correct time, assessed the problem and repaired it in about 30 minutes. It was great!

Vienna Appliance Sales and Service came the very next day after I called them. They were clean and professional. I thought they did a fine job and both of the washing machines are working fine now. I've used them for other repairs and they've always come through for me.

Our clothes washer had developed a problem in delivering cold water to the washing process. I consulted Angie's List and selected Vienna Appliance because of their excellent record and proximity to our house. I left a message for them last night and received a prompt return call at 8:30 AM today. Al, the technician, arrived at 2:00 PM today and fixed the problem!

Gave a firm estimate first. Ordered and installed parts quickly.

Excellent! Courtesy and professionalism of Al, the technician, was outstanding. His primary concern was in minimizing the potential repair cost for the customer and provided sound recommendations. Also, extremely concerned about minimizing impact on the customer in terms of time and disruption. Always showed up on time and worked very efficiently. A pleasant experience!

The service man was courteous. He gave us an estimate of approximately $550 to repair the oven, but he recommended that we not spend that much to repair it, given the age of the oven (22 years old). He recommended that we replace the oven. Since they just repaired appliances and do not sell them; this seemed to us to be a impartial assessment. We were pleased with the service and how quickly they responded to our call.

GE side by side refrigerator - 10 years old. Frost accumulating in freezer. Refrigerator was not cold. Called the company they came the next day when they said they would and fixed the problem. This appears to be a top notch reliable company that I would definitely use again. They were friendly and efficient.

Call to schedule work was promptly and politely handled - was able to get appointment right away. Repairman arrived 30 minutes after promised four hour window, but did call right at end of window to let me know he was on his way. Technician was polite and seemed knowledgeable. Repair was completed quickly, although technician accidentally reversed hot and cold water hook-ups which I didn't realize until the next day. To their credit, same technician came on Sunday to make right so I could finish my weekend laundry. I experienced a few bumps, but overall I was pleased with their service and would use them again.

Al was punctual and polite and diagnosed the problem with my electric burner right away. His estimate seemed reasonable, and I authorized him to make the repair, so there was no charge for the estimate. Al was pleasant and articulate and worked competently and efficiently. I would not hesitate to use this company again, and I would recommend it to others to use.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WILL ALWAYS USE THEM. THE WORKER WAS PUNCTUAL, PROMPT, AND PROVIDED EXCELLENT SERVICE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM WITH THE UTMOST RECOMMENDATION.
