Kyle was just a bit later than we had scheduled, but he called ahead to alert me. Worked through the issues resolving everything and explained what was going on as he worked. Took about and hour and a half.

The power supply in my PC went out over the weekend and I needed to get it replaced ASAP. The folks at Mobile PC Solutions were able to schedule an appointment to repair my system the same day I called for service. The technician arrived 5 minutes ahead of the time and was able to fix my problem right away. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. It took 45 minutes to remove the old power supply, install the new one, and reroute and secure all of the new cables. One thing I particularly appreciated was Mobile PC Solutions only charged me for the time it took to complete the work. In the past, other service providers have charged a flat, hourly rate with a 1 or 2 hour minimum charge. The work took 45 minutes to complete and I was only charged for 3/4 of an hour labor. I plan to use Mobile PC Solutions for my future computer needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have work done on their computers.

In the three times we have used Mobile PC solutions, we have been very satisfied with the service provided. We have had viruses and worms removed from our computer and have also gotten our computer unfrozen. We were very satisfied with the promptness with which our calls were answered and the quality of the services provided. The costs were very reasonable and, whether we were serviced by Darby or Kyle, the explanations of what the problems were and how they were resolved was always clearly presented. Having the service done in your own home makes the entire process very convenient. I would have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending Mobile PC solutions to anyone who has any difficulties with their computers.

Darby did a great job. She arrived on time, understood the problem immediately, and got right to work. Throughout the process she told me exactly what she was doing to the computer and why, and let me decide on changes that might affect my future use. It was a tough case; the virus was pretty deeply embedded and Darby had to run several different cleaning apps to root out the last fragments. She stuck with it and was honest about how sometimes virus repair is a matter of perseverance. I'm glad I went to her with the problem.

My old laptop had been causing problems so Kyle had made two other trips to the house prior to getting the new laptop up and running. He always arrived on time and was very pleasant. I am not a techie and he answered all of my questions with understanding. In the past I have come across tech repair people who think you're supposed to know as much as them. Not so with Kyle and it was much appreciated. His first visit was to replace a fan and the charge was a flat $100. They do not charge for transportation time as many of their competitors do. Kyle was very professional at all times and comfortable to work with. Hopefully, I won't have any problems for awhile, but if I do my only call will be to him.

Darby, the owner of Mobile PC solutions, came out to my house the same day I called. I really appreciated the prompt house call. Darby is not only very technically proficient with computers but can also explain things in plain English. I am not a computer savvy person, so the clear, non-technical communication was important to me. I told Darby I didn't want to have to learn Windows 8, so she found me a new computer that was running Windows 7. Her fee included the trouble shooting, two house calls, locating and picking up the new computer, keeping it at her workshop to install all my backed up files from Carbonite (took an entire day) and installed my MS office suite on the new computer. She brought the new computer to my home on August 4, just a few days after the original house call. She then hooked it up to my printer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse and made sure everything was running well, including my computer security suite. I also got her to install some other favorite software. She was very patient and answered all my questions. Everything is working great. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mobile PC Solutions again for any computer related issues. In fact, I hired Darby's son Kyle to come out recently to install my new high speed router and change the passwords so that the router worked with my computer, Smart TV, and Kindle. For prompt, efficient, and fairly priced services, I highly recommend Mobile Computer Solutions.

As promised, on time and at agreed cost. We use Mobile PC Solutions for all our computer installation, maintenance and troubleshooting work and have for several years. They're always prompt, courteous, friendly, good-humored, don't talk down to us luddites, and they're VERY reasonably priced. They know their stuff and what they're doing. We're always pleased to work with them, and getting them on the horn is ALWAYS more soothing than ranting profanely at the machine and trying the same incorrect thing over and over.

I have unconditional praise and respect for this company. With no exception, over the years, services have been prompt and professional and my problems solved or needs resolved quickly and efficiently. Staff are not only highly competent but friendly, approachable, easy to work with..... with never any hint of impatience that, in my experience, some tech people have for those of us who are older or not very tech oriented. I can't honestly think of a single "don't". I really rely on and love these folks and highly recommend their services to families or individuals or businesses. Friends and associates have also worked with this company and report to me being as happy and satisfied with services as I have been.

Not sure if I have the date right in 2013, but I can tell you that she was excellent. She really knew her stuff, installed everything quickly, was willing and able to work in my tight/cramped office space without any complaint, and was friendly and professional. I will replace my desktop later this year, and I plan to call Darby to ask for her initial advice on the three that I have it narrowed down to, and then hire her to handle setting everything up and switching everything over. I have never felt this must trust and confidence in a computer support person in the 20 years I've lived in DC.

The entire operation went smoothly and, as always, I am extremely pleased with the services performed by Darby of Mobile PC Solutions. I have used this company for many, many years and have always been very happy with their expert service. Whenever I have a computer problem or looking for equipment purchasing advice, I always depend on Darby to help me. She is extremely responsive, knowledgeable, professional and has a great sense of humor at the same time. Oh, can't forget how patient she is with my crazy dogs! You can trust that if it's possible to fix your computer, it will be done quickly and it will be done right. Darby was able to come out very quickly and got the computer all cleaned up and scrubbed of malware and so forth and taught me how to use the new software. I have used Darby COUNTLESS times since 2007, and she ALWAYS gets the job done, often tackling numerous problems with my two different computers and all manner of IT devices and software I am clueless about. How good is Darby's help? It's so good that I literally gave up my Mac and starting using Windows computers so that I could use her. Why? Because I observed the incredible support that a friend of mine, a professional businesswoman with a home office, got from Darby and decided to ditch the Macintosh losers who were charging me a fortune to come to my house and "fix" my Macs. It had been a horror story and I was fed up. I am sure there are competent, excellent Mac folks out there; all I know is that I was unable to find any and the prices I was being charged were shocking. So I actually went out and bought a Windows computer JUST so that I could get Darby's help! I have since referred Darby to many personal friends and all have been universally satisfied. There are many reasons to use Darby: 1. she does great work and can work on almost anything, hardware or software. 2. she's honest and will fix your computer and fix it right and not overcharge you even when it takes quite a bit of extra time to get it fixed and not charge you a fortune. 3. She comes right to your home or office! I don't know about you, but when I have a problem with a computer, I want it fixed NOW and I wanted fixed HERE! (my home office). I don't have the time and energy to unhook the whole thing and lug it to Best Buy or the Mac store or whatever, and leave it with them for several days. I also do not trust any of the other mobile services that come to your house or office because I have heard too many horror stories from friends. You will also love working with Darby. She is warm and personable, has a great sense of humor, and inspires immediate trust. I trust her so much that if I need her service but I cannot be home when she comes out, I simply leave my house key with a neighbor for Darby, who fixes my machine, leaves me a bill, and returns house key by shoving it through the mail slot in my front door. Now that is trust!

Kyle added the correct email access details that keep the IPAD updated. He also updated the IOS to the current version. He taught us how to add music and photos by getting the PC to recognize the IPAD when it was connected to the PC. He saved us many hours of research. His service is well worth the price. JAH

Kyle arrived promptly at the agreed time and helped me set up my new laptop. It is a touch screen which was new for me. He set up my home page and helped me transfer some of my software and documents (i.e., installed McAfee on my laptop; connected my printer to the laptop). He also gave me an orientation on the various features of Window 8.1 which I am now using. Kyle was very professional and I found him to be knowledgeable and easy to work with.

I called to see if I could get a fairly fast service call. My daughter had an important document on the computer which she did not back up. She needed to access this document later the same day for a speech competition. I got an extremely fast turnaround. I called at 10am and Kyle arrived at my house at 11am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. He is a very friendly, professional and competent tech.

He was great - a really nice young man that went above & beyond in helping me. The computer is working well now. I've already discussed upgrading my laptop & having him transfer my files from my old computer to my new one when the time comes.

The computer had so much malware on it that it was nearly impossible to use the internet, as you were being redirected everywhere. Mobile PC Solutions took all the stuff off, increased the efficiency of the machine and installed an additional couple of programs to avoid future problems. The computer has been running like new since. I should also mention that this is after two failed attempts by other contractors to fix the machine.

I have use Mobile PC Solutions for more than ten years. They ALWAYS have time to respond to my requests. Now the founder of the company has added her son to work with her in all aspects of computer/printer solutions. I just bough a new printer. I asked the company to give me some recommendations of which printer best fits my method of working on the computer. She e-mailed me and gave me three names and I bought one. Her son was here to help me to install it. I could not work on my computer with the help of this company.
