Description of Work: I used the computer repair service of Mobile PC Solutions. They kept my computer back up.

Description of Work: Darby Ford is the main principal of Mobile PC Solutions and she is very knowledgeable, capable, punctual , honest, and fair. She has repaired, debugged, updated, explained and networked for me personally and for a small office where I was Office Manager for over 10 years. Most recently she has helped me locate and buy computers for my personal use - one a sturdy version of military laptops for my son to take with him to Iraq and the second for my home use. She listens to what is wanted, needed, researches and makes recommendations/suggestions and has found best prices on each. She can set up software, transfer from hard drives and set you up to go, making sure you're happy before finishing. She explains alternate solutions so as not to oversell something beyond your needs and anticipates questions to ask to make sure your wants and needs are met. She can pick up computers, repair and return always timely and as promised. I trust her completely with my machines and the integrity of the information on it... none of the " young adult/ teenager-type practical jokes" with your info that can happen with less mature folks working on your computer. I could not be more pleased with her services.

Description of Work: I couldn't be more thrilled with Mobile PC Solutions service from start to finish!! After discussing my needs and budget, Darby selected, purchased, and fully installed a laptop computer and new printer at my house that met all of my needs. This also involved pulling out my old worn desktop hardrive to add files to new laptop (including all of my Itunes). Besides doing all of the legwork and installation, she even took care of the rebate for the computer, which was simply applied as a credit to my final bill. Darby came to me on recommendation of my Mother, who has been using her services for years. Additionally, she was able to find a virus on my husband's computer that he picked up outside the US, which his university IT department was unable to locate. You can't go wrong and will be thrilled if you choseMobile PC for all of your IT needs.

Description of Work: I hired Mobile PC Solutions to help me with a computer problem.My computer had crashed and I could not start it. Kyle came to the house. It was determined that my computer had a virus. After doing his sweep, etc,.... it seemed fine and he left. Shortly afterwards, the computer began having unusual pop ups, started redirecting me to other sites that I had not searched and was very slow. I called Kyle and he remotely fixed the problem. Later that evening, the problem resurfaced. I called and Darby tried some more remote work. The following morning, I thought the computer was running very slow. I tried to search a site but the again was redirected. Darby did more investigation by remote. The computer had a very virulent virus that kept morphing despite new anitvirus software and all the sweeps they had done. Darby was determined to fix it, however. She researched it and got it done. Now my computer is running properly and is back to running fast. Darby said that these viruses can be very tough, but that she ALWAYS WINS :-) I liked her positive attitude and confidence. Darby and Kyle were both very patient. They came out the same day, worked with me diligently and were very responsive. I highly recommend this team.

Description of Work: Darby got our new computer started (for some reason it froze) and took the information from our old computer (that we thought we had lost forever) and transfered it to the new computer. While doing this, she was very helpful in giving me tips on the care of the computer. At no time did she talk down to me and was very patient in answering my questions. I had her return a week later to install a new 4 -USB card. I have absolutely no reservations in highly recommending her to anyone who needs any computer assistance. We will definitely continue to use Mobile PC Solutions in the future.

Description of Work: One of the ports on my new computer wasn't not working.

Description of Work: I have been using this company from the time it was organized, that would be about 10 to 12 years. I have always found them to be responsive. I have never waited more than one day for them to come to my house when I needed them. The head of the company has about 30 years experience in the computer field. She has trained her son and daughter both of whom have been equally responsive when I have called. I have recommended them to many friends over the years and all of my friends have had the same experience withi this company. I have found them to have a very broad knowledge of both software and hardware. They have purchased computers, printers, and other accessoriles such a wireless printging, wireless keyboard and wireless mouse. They also are available to make adjustments to my computer. I will continue to use them for as long I have a computer; and will continue to recommend them when asked by someone else. My overall experience has been consistently posiive over the past ten or twelve years.

Description of Work: I have used Mobile PC Solutions several times, in February and July of this year. The amount shown above is the total for these multiple visits. In February, they helped correctly diagnose the hardware problem with my Sony Vaio all-in-one, which proved to be a failed motherboard. The cost of replacing that was prohibitive (due to the manufacturer, not Mobile PC Solutions). They helped me research and purchase a replacement and then came to my house to transfer all of my files and set up the new HP all-in-one, ready for me to use. Unfortunately, that new computer experienced a complete breakdown in July. Although it was still under warranty, I had difficulty convincing HP that hardware repairs were needed. I called Mobile PC Solutions and they responded immediately, Kyle came to my house, diagnosed the problem, and communicated with HP in a way that convinced them to let me return the computer for repair. He then returned and again set up the repaired computer up for my use. I could not be happier with Mobile PC Solutions. They respond promptly and professionally. Their prices are very reasonable. Most of all, Kim and Kyle are both extremely personable and pleasant. They installed software on my computers (desktop and laptop) so that they can diagnose software problems remotely and thus render service in an even more efficient, low cost way if I encounter future problems. I can heartily recommend that others use Mobile PC Solutions. I certainly will call them again if I need computer help.

Description of Work: My computer was not working well, not updating, getting garbage messages - obviously full of junk. Mobile PC Solutions came out Saturday and worked on the computer. They had to take it back to their shop. Fixed it and brought it back to me the next day and it works fine. I am very satisified.

Description of Work: Darby has come to my aid numerous times, is never judgmental, always pleasant, does a good job. Right now is setting up a new PC for me.
