Called and got an appointment for someone to come out the very next day. Guy was very nice, trustworthy, could tell he knew what he was doing. Was able to explain everything to me in an understandable way. Very good experience.

They were very prompt in every aspect from the estimate to the installation and their price was better than the other companies from whom I received estimates for the same brands of doors and opener. They were responsive to my needs and did not try to sell me the highest priced doors or insulation.

This is the second time we've used Eastern, and just wish all service providers were as polite, efficient, and most of all reliable - a tough one with so many contractors. This time the garage door wouldn't stay closed unless we held down the inside keypad button, plus a terminal had broken off in our outside keypad when my husband was checking the battery. I called first thing in the a.m. and was told someone could be there by noon. We got a call back a few minutes later saying they could come in 30 minutes. The tech was friendly, immediately figured out the problem, and though I didn't ask, suggested I go inside to get my car key to make sure the integrated opener in my car still worked. Called by 8:30; by 10:00 fixed. He was also friendly to our dog.

I have used this company twice before when I lived in Warrenton and I was always impressed with the professional, efficient work of the service rep, Enoch. I called and they were able to fit me in and Enoch came to do the tune up and suggested what I might need. If you are looking for a reputable company that knows what they are doing, will show up on time and get the job done right the first time then you should call this company.

I called one evening and the provider came out the next morning on time. He was able to quickly resolve the issue, performed some maintenance items, and pointed out activities I should do to better maintain the garage door. He was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.

My original garage door opener was installed by Eastern Door November 1991. On June 27, 2013 opener would close the door and immediately reopen the door. I called for an appointment and was given one on the same day. The service technician arrived promptly and replaced a condenser and circuit board. He thought the opener was fixed. It worked several times but about 11 PM when I tried to shut the door and it wouldn't stay shut. I called early the next morning (June 28th) and they had someone out by 1 PM. Ultimately, I had to replace the garage door opener. The owner credited all labor and materials from the previous day's service to the new garage door opener so that I only paid for a service call on the 27th and the new opener on the 28th. I have been pleased with the service Eastern Door provided in 1991, on several calls in between for garage door issues, and with the service provided with the new garage door opener.

My wife and I could not have been happier with the service we received. Every interaction from the first phone call to the final installation was courteous and professional. We were looking for a very specific and somewhat expensive door to replace an existing one. The estimator came to our home at the appointed time and provided a prompt estimate. He noted that my old door had lead paint and they would be required to charge several hundred dollars to remove it or I could handle the removal. I opted to remove the old door myself. The door arrived sooner than they had estimated, and they scheduled the installation exactly when I asked. They arrived promptly, and finished the installation quickly. They even hauled away all of the metal parts of my old door, leaving me with only the wood panels to dispose of. And the new opener they recommended is quiet and efficient. Throughout this project they were prompt, friendly and professional. I have no reservations in recommending them.

The company gave us a break on labor, since we had them stop by a few months earlier to replace a broken spring on the door. In this latest case the door had been refusing to close, first intermittently and then all the time. Only holding the button down on the direct switch allowed the mechanism to override the safety feature. The repairman correctly guessed the reason right off the bat, but then took a few minutes more to run some common sense diagnostics to be sure. He arrived promptly at 7 AM and was gone by 8 AM.

We called Eastern on a Tuesday and they fit us in for immediately the next day (though due to a screw up on our end - not theirs - we did have to push it off a couple of days.) The front desk person was exceptionally nice and let me know the crew would call about 20 minutes before arriving, just to confirm, which they did. They even showed up early! It only took about 20 minutes - total - to both diagnose and fix the problem with the garage door. They did let me know that the unit was likely on its last legs - it was made in 1997 - but instead of pressuring me to install something new, they left information about new doors (including prices). When this unit finally gives out, I am absolutely going to call Eastern to install our new garage door. The crew was friendly, informative and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I have used Eastern Door three times now since 2005. Each time I was able to get someone out either that day or the next. He came on time, fixed what was needed and was very proffessional and cleaned up afterwards. First time using Eastern was in 2005 when the springs on two doors of my three door garage need to be replaced. (The third door was hardly used) I called and he came out the next morning right on time. After doing the work he checked all three garage doors, lubed each and checked for any safety issues and there were none. March 2010 ....When raising the garage door we noticed a slight jerking motion. Called Eastern Door and he came out the next morning right on time and completed the job within 45 minutes. He replaced the rollers and checked the three garage doors for any safety concerns and lubed each door. In May of 2011 our keypad just stopped working and needed to be replaced. He came out the next day and installed the new keypad and rekeyed the remote, checked all three doors, and lubed each and saw no other safety concerns. All three times I felt he did a thorough job in inspecting the doors. Very satisfied. I don't know whether the price they charge is fair or not because I haven't checked with any other companies an I can not remember if it was the same person each time or someone new. I have been very satisfied with the services they have provided and the timely matter in which they respond.

I have used Eastern door for many years from installation to service. They are always prompt and do a great job.

I am 100% satisfied with Eastern Door Service. I would highly recommend this company. I made a repair call and within one hour they diagnosed and fixed the broken garage door lift springs. I was totally amazed at how efficient and professional the repair/installation individual (Enoch) turned out to be.

They did a good job. I called them and they came very promptly. They did exactly what I wanted. I can’t compare their prices as I did not shop around. However, they appeared to be reasonable. They were excellent. They knew what they were doing. They finished the work quickly. I will call them when I replace my garage door. These guys were not clumsy. Their professionalism was outstanding.

The crew of 2 arrived well within the time arranged. They surveyed the door and broken spring, and with about 30 minutes both springs were replaced. The door now works very well. I am very pleased with this company and would call them again for any work I would require. I recommend them to anyone who is in need of garage door work.

It is a standard, single car garage door. They did a quality job. They did what they were supposed to do. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

I WOULD TELL MY FRIENDS TO DEFIANTLY USE THIS COMPANY. THE PRICE WAS LOWER AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND THE JOB WAS DONE FAST.

THEY DID A LOT OF WORK ON THE HOUSE AND DIDN'T FINISH ANYTHING. I WOULDN'T USE OR RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE. VERY CRUMMY SERVICE, NO AMENDS MADE AND OWNER SEEMS TO BE A PART OF THE PROBLEM. OVER CHARGED TOO.

IT WAS A CRUMMY JOB. COMPANY DID A HORRIBLE JOB. I WOULD NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER FOR ANY SERVICES. THEY STILL HAVE NOT FINISHED THE JOB AND PROBABLY WON'T.
