Description of Work: AC unit failed as we moved into our house (on a Saturday). Air Treatment responded that day. We had an old AC unit with even older heat pump. Air Treatment was professional, friendly, and took us through the options. We choose to upgrade to a more efficient unit--they also made correction for new finished space in the house and added another air return They replaced both the AC and the heat pump for a fair price. They have my highest recommendation (and a good friend just had them replace the HVAC unit in their home).

Description of Work: I got a big deal for a service contract. They have now tuned up both the furnace and a/c units. I haven't had any problems so far so I don't know how they respond to service calls, but the tune ups went well--they seem honest and helpful and didn't "discover" any problems. I will definitely renew my contract.

Description of Work: They came out to inspect the system. The technician informed us that we needed to replace rhe filter, but didn't tell us he had removed the filter. We went out of town the next day and a week later our system seized up with a block of ice surrounding the coils. We decided to call a more professional service to fix their mess. In the long run, they cost us more money

Description of Work: We called Air Treatment to diagnose an issue with an HVAC unit for our condo. The unit would not cool our condo down below 73 degrees, and would run constantly. Unfortunately, when they came to look at it they determined that the unit needed to be replaced. It certainly wasn't what we were expecting. But the technician patiently answered all of our questions and could not have been more professional. We had another company come out to give us a second opinion and they came to the same conclusion - we had to replace the unit. We subsequently asked Air Treatment to provide us a quote for replacing the unit. After getting a couple of other estimates, Air Treatment was far and away the most affordable, so we chose them to replace the unit. We liked that the price they quoted us was firm, i.e. no matter what they encountered on the day of the job or what complications they ran into, there would be no surprises after the fact. They scheduled the appointment quickly, and were even able to offer 0% financing for a year. On the day of the installation, the crew arrived on time and were ready to work. They laid down sheets so as not to track any dirt or debris on our carpet. When they did have to step on the carpet, they put on booties. Initially we were told that the installation would take anywhere from half a day to a full day, depending on what the crew encountered during the course of the job. However, they were able to complete the job in about 2 and a half hours. The crew was professional, cleaned up after themselves, and left the place exactly as they found it. The project manager walked me through the features of the new thermostat and answered all of my questions. All in all, the installation could not have gone smoother. Nobody wants to hear the news that their HVAC unit needs to be replaced. But Air Treatment made the experience as pleasant as it could be. Everyone associated with the company, from the technicians, to the installation crew, to the financing folks on the phone were great to work with. I'd definitely recommend them!
