Tech came when promised, install went smoothly but unit turned out defective. Company immediately sent replacement tech installed and it worked fine.

I scheduled A/C check-up per my yearly maintenance. Technician showed up within the time frame allotted. Did the check-up inside and outside. Was on his cell most of that time that he was in the house but I don't know if it was work related.

We have a 17-year-old A/C system under an annual maintenance contract with another company. During our most recent maintenance visit this past Tuesday, the technician noted our system was running at high amperage and suggested we consider replacing the unit a.s.a.p., mentioning federal regulations and a 2014 replacement deadline for Freon. More importantly, if the system failed we might need to replace the copper pipes throughout (at $30 per foot) on top of the costs of the replacement A/C unit (because the copper pipe would be clogged with contaminated refrigerant???) The copper pipe thing sounded odd, so we got a second opinion, which was offered by Air Treatment Company with their $29 coupon for a diagnostic service call. The responsiveness of the company was excellent -- from the initial email to Shelly, the contact person, to the subsequent service scheduler and on to the technician, who arrived at the stroke of 10:00am today for a service window that was set for 10:00am to 2:00pm. The technician spent half an hour inspecting our system thoroughly and then talked with us about his recommendations. He reinforced the finding that the A/C system compressor was running at a higher amperage level than ideal, but he did not suggest replacing the unit a.s.a.p. The 2014 Freon deadline did not seem to be a hard deadline. Most importantly, he hadn't heard of the need to replace copper pipe after a system failure. After his visit, we're now thinking about terminating our existing maintenance contract and setting up a new one with Air Treatment Company. We could not be more pleased with the service from this company, from start to finish.

Air Treatment Company helped me retool my home's HVAC system and water heater, all in the month of June. The salesman, Phil Oliver, was exceptionally helpful with explaining the dynamics of how the new system would work, as well as recommending an additional return in our basement for proper air flow. He performed a heat/load calculation to determine the appropriate size furnace that should be placed in my home and was instrumental in setting up all the scheduling. The technicians who came out to my home were so friendly and knowledgeable, and highly professional. Each representative from Air Treatment Company took the time to explain the process and the products with patience and grace. A lot of money was spent on all these upgrades for my home but I have complete confidence that the correct choices were made with the best company backing up these Carrier products. When selecting a company to help you with upgrading your system, be very careful to do your due diligence. Look at the Better Business Bureau rating of the companies your are considering, and ask the right questions. Make sure the company files a permit with Fairfax County when installing the HVAC. Sometimes the inclination is to go with a company that is the least expensive; but when choosing this option integral steps are often missed in the installation process and selection of your system. There is a reason for their drastically cheaper prices. Companies need to actually come out to your home to look at your duct system and see the layout of your home and basement before they make recommendations. Ask them to perform a heat/load calculation (this is a free service) so you can see what size system your house should run on based on facts not based on a suggestion over the phone. Now that our new HVAC system and water heater has been up and running for several weeks, I can confidently recommend Air Treatment Company. My home feels great now, and our water heater doing a fantastic job. I can't speak highly enough about the quality of this company. You get what you pay for, and I couldn't be happier with my decision to use them.

Called two other companies first and both said it would be at least 2 days before a technician would be available. Air treatment stated they would respond today. Thie call was made at 11 am and by 2:15pm a technition was at our house and quickly diagnosed the problem (a blown capacitor). He quoted a price for the service call and cost of the part which seemed resonable and didnt try to talk us into a new unit even though ours is more than 10 years old. He was friendly, polite and knowledgable. I would recomment this company to others.

The provider came out and did an inspection of my system, we chatted a little bit and he was getting ready to charge my system with coolant (110.00 per lbs.) when he remembered that we had chatted about the new NEST thermostat I had installed. He said that in his experience the NEST had worked great with some units but caused issues with some others that were not fully compatible with it. Before he charged my system with expensive coolant, he wanted me to change my thermostat back out with the old one I used to have and run it for a little while to see. He told me if I had any other problems to call back and they would come back out for free to check it out. I ran my system with the old thermostat and it worked like a charm. Awesome service.

Plumber was on time, worked by himself, worked quietly and was very professional.

I used a Big Deal for a diagnostic for my A/C. I was able to get a an appointment the same day I called and the best part was that I didn't have to sit around waiting for a window of 4 hours for them to show. They called me 20 minutes before they were on their way and I was able to leave work and meet them. The service man checked out the outdoors and indoors unit, even though he was certain the issue was in my attic unit indoors. He offered to do a leak test, but suggested it was very expensive ($500) and the money would probably best spent towards a replacement. He was very sympathetic especially since I had a Home Warranty system that replaced the outdoors unit in Oct, but the leak is in the indoors portion. Overall, I thought he offered various solutions and a quote for a replacement system.

Technician was on time, efficient, worked like a Trojan and carefully explained everything-more so than the representative who tried to see me a new humidifier as well.

Phil gave us an estimate on 4/3/13 and the boiler was installed in one day on 4/9/13. Good service & price included CO detector-cleanup & covered floor

During the annual system maintenance, Air Treatment identified a few ducts which had asbestos wrapping. They provided a name of an asbestos removal company, and provided a cost to replace the removed ductwork, to increase the return flow in the existing ducts (thereby improving the furnace system performance), to replace the old mercury thermostat with a programmable one, and an cost to replace the 27 year old A/C unit. They were here on time, coordinated with the duct removal, worked hard for two days, were polite, prompt, professional. Absolutely wonderful. We will keep the system in their capable hands.

I have an annual contract to have them come out, do a check, and fix what ever needs to be checked. They do the furnace in the fall and air conditioner in the spring. I think they are reasonable, I pay them annually, unless there is something unusual. I have had them ever since I have had the house, like, 20 years and their people always seem well trained, I am usually home when they come out and do the work. They do a really good job at explaining what they are doing. They make good recommendations if something needs to be done, what I should do. If I have an emergency, like the furnace quits, they come out very quickly.

Two installers, arrived on time, worked for 6 hours and departed per schedule. Final job lorded more professional than that done for the 164 old furnace by a differed company. We were pleased.

Benn our service tech was excellent. Figured out the problem with our unit and fixed the problem correctly. Was very polite and conscientious. And no, Benn is not a relative.

Given a window of 8-12:00. Came right at 8. Very professional and knowledgeable, enjoyable, experienced. Helpful and good to our dog as well who insisted on bothering him.
