Air Treatment Company

I had a clogged HVAC water pump repaired in the fall. Since the repair cost was almost the same as a twice yearly service contract they offer, they allowed me to pay the difference for the service contract. The repair counted as the first visit. They visited again in March to inspect the heating system as part of the service contract and there were no issues on that visit.

They were at my home for about an hour. It turned out well and I was satisfied with the service. I've not had any issues since.

They are promptly responsive and provide good service. They have good technicians, come when we ask them to, and clean up after themselves. We get our value for money so we keep going back.

The company called us when the technician was about 20 mins out. I showed him where the system was and let him proceed from there. He connected the system to our hot water said, he told me that this was the better side to connect it to. He also showed me where the valve was for that part of the system and said we should never have to do anything with that because it was a newer type valve. He connected the system to the drain as well. We had to cut the power to both the furnance and the water heater (not at the same time) and he gave us an estimate of how long those would have to be down. After the installation he showed us how to adjust and maintain the system. I'm giving a B on price because as compared to some of the other Angies list deals they are more expensive. They do use Carrier instead of the other system, which comes with a 10 year part warranty instead of 5. I also had to get the sales guy to knock down the price to at least meet the price of the some of the other companies without Angie list deals. I chose this company over others because 1.) They were one of the few companies to actually come out and look at the system, instead of just trying to quote me over the phone. 2.) They didn't try to upsell me as another A rated company did on Angies list 3.) They were extremely courteous and prompt when dealing with them.

Company installed a whole house humidifier for us. Two men did the work, showed us how to adjust the humidifier and what to do for maintenance and cleaned up after they were done. Total work time was about 2-3 hours. We are completely satisfied with the quality of work and noticed an improvement in relative humidity almost instantly.

The technician arrived early in the time window, was polite, professional and friendly. He was very thorough, found a problem, carefully explained it and the options for repairing vs. replacing. An excellent experience every time.

I would highly recommend them. The representative of the company came several times and talked to us and explained the operation of the generator after they installed it. He also helped us get the permit and everything. They also provided the name of official who does the inspections.

We were disappointed at the limited appointments available to those of us with service contracts. We had delayed and had to wait 4 months for the visit, placing it well after the start of the cold months. We'll call earlier for the Summer Tune up.

Well, Im ecstatic. I had a rumbling sound in my heating system which got louder and louder over the past several weeks. It was rather sporadic, and I wasn't sure anyone else would even hear it (if the timing was bad) let alone repair it. Well, fortunately for me, Benn showed up and listened carefully to my monolog about the symptoms and after an exhaustive examination found the problem. He was very determined and systematic in his work, and frankly if he left 30 minutes earlier I would have felt satisfied that he gave it his best shot. But, he couldn't let go, and when he finally found it, I couldn't tell who was happier, Benn or me. It was my first experience with the company and they have become my go to HVAC source for skill and honesty.

The experience was fair. I have used them twice for seasonal servicing. They came out within a month of me buying the big deal, and then they came out for the seasonal check up. They come out and do a winter diagnostic, and then they come out and check the cooling level in the spring and summer. The service people have been friendly, but scheduling was a little bit of a problem, because I scheduled the winter check up in late September, early October, and they said they couldn't come out until Christmas. They last came and did a check, because the heat wasn't working, and I needed a piece of equipment and they told me they had to order me a new mother board. I called them back because it had been 4 days, and it was very cold, they said they didn't have the order, and so I was very upset about that, because they said they were going to get it within 24-48 hours. Fortunately, the manager called me to tell me that he was going to see if he could get someone to drive over to get the part. That made me feel better, and they did get the part by sending somebody to get it.

The experience was great, and we highly recommend them. They came out, and we got a professional system and I had gotten 2 or 3 quotes, and they were in par with the other quotes. They did a great job. They weren't the cheapest, but they had a lot of features in their quote that I wanted with my system.

It went well. They were prompt. It was very cold and because they come an hour and a half later, it was very nice for people to get heat within two hours of my call so that was fantastic.

It was fine. They were good, prompt and we had no problems. They weren't trying to sell us anything that we didn't need and it wasn't a high pressure sale. Sometimes you have some people come out to your house and they want to pressure you on getting more than you need. He just fixed what needed to be fixed then left. We got what we paid for and we were happy.

The one last year, they were very nice, explained everything, and I was just very pleased to follow through. There was something wrong and cannot start and they fixed it on same day. The fact that he explained everything well, he was very nice, prompt, and that was good. He was very good, solved the problem, and did it out there the next day. They have good customer service. They will work on our units in the spring.

Smooth from start to finish. I had one additional estimate from another provider. Air Treatment was a bit more expensive but they did such a thorough job laying out all of my options that they earned my business. The crew arrived on time and got the job done in one day. No worries at all. The new system is more efficient and effective at heating our townhome.

We called several providers to give us an estimate for a bigger water heater to satisfy the demands of our large family. Everyone was fed up with taking cold showers. Air Treatment Company was the only provider who suggested that instead of getting a bigger water heater, we had enough space to install a second one. They were able to give us the lowest estimate and now we'll have a back up if one breaks. It was a great solution. The gentleman who installed our heater was courteous and professional and we are all very happy with the result: hot showers for everyone. As a matter of fact, the reason I joined Angie's List is because we were so happy with this service provider.

The repair technician took the time explaining the cost of repair and given the cost was high and the heat pump was 15 years old they recommended replacing it. I decided to replace it and they set an appointment with a Tech sale rep the same day. He is very knowledgeable, he reviewed the current system I had made several recommendation for improving it as well as installing a safety system to prevent drainage water from overflowing in the attic in case the drain is clogged. He then went through several options for replacement with different price ranges and took the times explaining the difference between each of them. He was very patient, answered all my questions. I selected a Carrier Infinity system, He helped with the application for financing as well as getting a rebate from Dominion VA power. Installation was scheduled 2 days later. The install crew was also very professional. They came on time, took precaution not to soil the carpet and demo the system to me once install was complete. They explained what the did and helped me set up the thermostat and showed me how it works. I'm extremely pleased with the work they have done. All the people I dealt with from Air-treatment were extremely professional, knowledgeable, provide good advice and very responsive.

Technician was very polite, he used shoe coverings, he arrived within the specified time range and shared with me what he adjusted and gave me an overview of my furnace performance.

It turned out very good. Scheduling the Big Deal was easy. They were responsive and came right out to the home. They didn’t charge extra and did exactly what the Big Deal entailed.
