I bought the service call coupon from Angie's list, hoping to at least save a little off the total cost of the repair. It turned out that was the total cost of the repair. The technician, who was excellent, quickly solved my problem and determined it was simply an over-heating safety mechanism that would not be over heating if i put in a new filter. (yeah I felt kind of dumb!) He gave me some tips on upkeep and even gave me some advice on my water cooler care. It was about as good an experience as you can have under the circumstances. I was thinking it would be at least $500 because my furnace, a Trane, doesn't have a great record.

It went well. He was thorough during the inspection and gave me some advice. There were some things growing on the A/C and he trimmed that back. He mentioned that I had about 3 years left on the A/C and it was larger than I needed. He also told me of a few things that might need fixing and gave me options. He was very knowledgeable and presented the info to me in a way that made sense. The only thing was that they called me and said I bought the $39 when I'd really paid $99; I never heard back so I assume it was okay. The tech was very serious and very committed to high quality service.

We knew that the compressor was the problem with our air conditioner unit. After having 3 A/C repair companies come out to assess the problem, Air Treatment Company was the only one to determine that the York compressor was still under warranty. They ordered the compressor from York and installed it a week later. We were very pleased with the level of service and the professionalism of the ladies (Sarah and and Chrystal) in the office.

Two pleasant and professional technicians came out and thoroughly evaluated the problem with the heat pump. Since the unit was about 20 yrs.old and the repair was expensive, they recommended a new unit. Their salesman who was very knowledgeable came the next day to outline the options available for replacing the HVAC. There was no pressure and the experience was pleasant as well as very informative. I ultimately bought a new unit from another company whose price was a little lower, but received excellent service from Ace.

I would recommend this company for furnace and air conditining service based on the very thorough examination of the furnace. The technician explained clearly the service being done. However, we have not received a promised follow-up call related to questions about overall in-house ventilation. This is reason for my N/A rating for responsiveness.

The experience was fine. They recommended I replace my filter on the electronic air cleaner, and the technician volunteered to do the work and not charge me anything additional. I really liked that they did that for me.

ARlThe serviceperson knew what he was doing. He needs to brush up on his customer service skills, particularly how he responds to simple questions. The total price was higher than expected. The Angie's List advance purchase discount was off the dispatch fee ($39 for service call means your dispatch fee is $39) , not the actual service performed, which was done at regular rate.

Our furnace was making odd noises Thursday. Ben from Air Treatment came to our house early Friday morning and found the broken part that was causing the problem. He recommended we just replace this and only install a new motor if this step didn't solve the problem. He had the new part by Monday morning and worked quickly to get our air conditioning on. Both he and the receptionist who took my call were very polite and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

At approximately 2 am on June 26th my husband and I were awakened by a screeching/screaming/squealing noise from the HVAC system. We turned it off, waited a few minutes, and turned it back on. It started again, so we turned it off and went to bed. At 8 am I found an Angie's List Deal for a diagnostic call. I called and set up the appointment for the same day before purchasing the deal. They came out at the time they said they would, with a courtesy call that they were on the way. I left the system off until they came (around 1 pm). The technician stayed for about an hour to try and replicate the problem. We couldn't get it to happen again, but he did inspect the entire system and tell me it looked good. His best guess was that the fan (which had been switched to on) had overheated. He told us he'd sell us a new AC if we wanted (ours is 15+ years old), but that we didn't need one. We switched the fan to automatic and left it. It's been three weeks and the problem hasn't returned. While it was a little frustrating not to find out exactly what the problem was, his best guess seems to have been correct. Also, I like that the tech didn't try to tell us we needed a new AC just based on its age. I would call them again.

The company showed up on time as scheduled. Told me I needed coolant and the motor cleaned. I had a second company come for a second opinion and the vents just needed to be opened.

The technician that came by was Carl and he was extremely nice and professional. He was excellent. He went through my whole A/C system, checking it out top to bottom. He was able to determine that there was some miss wiring and was able to correct the problem right away. I purchased the $39 diagnostic discount. Carl was a real pro. He knows his stuff.

I didn't think I could find a company who would come out on a late Friday afternoon, in a few hours notice....AND a company with an honest and fair reputations. Well, I was wrong! ! Based on fantastic reviews, I went with Air Treatment. Sarah in the office answered the phone, answered all my questions, provided me with a coupon tip, AND booked me an appointment for the same day! It was all too good...but could they deliver...YES...Ben came to our door, diagnosed the problems in a matter of minutes, talked us through the repair, and did it all after working hours! His honesty, patience and quick solution, made for a happy Friday night! Seriously, folks, I read reviews, I write reviews, and I ask a lot of questions! Ben was the man of the day, and Air Treatment Company pulled it all together in a matter of hours!

They were able to come out in about four hours after I purchased the deal. They serviced my AC unit. Everything worked out fine and I even signed up for a service agreement with them. The service man was professional and honest. I liked his overall attitude while working on the unit. From start to finish, everything was perfect!

We called them after another company told us that it would be another five days before they could return and fix the AC. We used the Angie's List coupon for the service visit. Air Treatment was there within the hour and had the AC running in a few hours. The tech was professional and promptly called us with the diagnosis. We will use them again.
