Prior to the work my crawl space was a wet nasty, rodent and snake infested mess. Afterwards, it was clean, dry, bright and white. The air in the house no longer gets musty. My heating bills went down 25%. I referred the Drying Company to my parents, and neighbors, and they were similarly pleased with the results. Should I relocate, I will never live in another house that does not have an encapsulated crawl space.

The process went very smoothly. There were several teams that worked on my project. The initial workers removed all of the old insulation and trash left under the house during construction, and cleaned the joists. Later a perimeter drain system was installed, and the final job was to insulate the foundation perimeter and install the vapor barrier. All the work was done in a professional manner and the workers were all very courteous. They were on time and on budget.

I was referred to The Drying Company by a neighbor who had similar work done. I was seeking blown in cellulose between floors as a noise suppressor. The representative was at my home within days to give me different options with detailed information of each. I found the representative to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of insulation and provided me with an estimate of my choice for the blown in cellulose. I found the estimate was very reasonable and we drew up a contract the day. I was given a two week estimated start date and two days to complete the job. I was very happy that they stated the job a week early, and that the two part job requiring two different crews was coordinated to have the two crews there on the same day for a few hours each to complete the job in one day! Everyone involved was very knowledgeable and courteous from getting the estimate to cleaning up. I will use this company again as needed and recommend they to friends and neighbors.

The job went well. We needed to encapsulate the crawl space because the hardwood floors we installed in December of the previous year were cupping, both above the crawl space and in our sun room, which was built on top of an existing deck. The reason we elected to go with The Drying Company was they offered options based on our needs rather than a set package. For instance, rather than telling us that we needed a 20ml liner, they offered a 12ml liner, which was a more reasonable cost and our crawl space did not need a 20ml liner. They also offered spray foaming the crawl walls rather than foam board. They also recommended on their own we consider spray foaming underneath our two sun rooms to better insulated the floors and help reduce the moisture content of the sun room wood floors. The lead time to start our project was 3 weeks. They estimated it would take 3 days to complete the project. The first team arrived as planned and cleaned the crawl space of debris and the old 6ml barrier and then installed the new 12ml vapor barrier. The next day was to be the foam insulation work, however, the foam truck needed an inspection and the work was moved back a couple of days. Once the insulation work started the job was quickly completed. When the existing plywood was removed from underneath the two sun rooms, several boards were broken and replaced with new ones. They removed all the old boards and cleaned the area. The only negative was when they replaced the plywood it was done wrong and needed to be trimmed with a cable saw which was not a clean cut. The company also provided a wireless hygrometer to monitor the temp and humidity in the crawl space. Since we encapsulated the crawl space the humidity has stabilized from the mid 60% to 40% and the temperature is around 65 degrees. We are running the dehumidifier at 40% until we can see the cupping in the hardwood floor relax and the boards go back to their natural state.

They were excellent from the estimate to completion of the job. The crew was outstanding! Very professional and took the time to explain the process fully.

They came out and looked. Said they'd get back to me. Never did. I emailed, no response.

Joe and his staff are professional, dependable and stand fully behind their work. After verbal discussion of the project(s) they describe in writing what they intend to do and the costs. They regularly update us on the progress and this time they were able to minimize the original cost saving us several hundreds of dollars.

Everything went well, and I was happy with the services. They were honest and upfront, didn't try to sell unnecessary services, and completed the job quickly. I appreciated that they took the appropriate precautions when doing the work since the insulation can be toxic during its application process.

He was very professional, punctual, and responsive. We are still deciding on a provider to do this work.

The representative (Matt) arrived on time as scheduled. He was very professional and explained all of my options. A verbal estimate was followed up with a written quote. All of this was completed over a couple of days.

They did a great job! they didn't trash my yard ,and cleaned up nicely. The installers were very polite. I would definitely recommend.
